In the Bhagavad Gita, there are 18 chapters describing 18 types of yoga. Hatha means use your willpower to achieve. Bal hath, triya hath, raj hath, yoga hath. Ha and tha come into balance in the sushumna nadi. Awakening of inner willpower. Sat karma: neti, dhauti, bhasti, nauli, tratak and kapalabhati. Practices should alway begin in the left side. The mind is connected to the water element and the moon. Pranayama techniques: chandra shodhan, chandra bedan; surya shodhan, surya bedan.
