These kinds of fasting have spiritual meaning. We eat more than the generations before us, Farmers know, how is the healthy way of eating. Don't eat anything after sunset, but only drink water. If we practise yoga, don't eat meat and don't drink alcohol, we live a long and healthy life and when our time comes, we die healthy and in a short time.
