The Awakening of Spring and the Inner Light
Spring awakens the inner light.
Nature opens in spring, urging us to open too. We sought light in winter's darkness. The light we seek is not the sun or stars, but the inner light. Meditative light is physical, yet it points toward the indescribable Ātmajyoti, the soul's light. This light is glimpsed in sleep and dreams, where time and speed differ. To awaken, follow the Guru's words and keep company with sādhus. A sādhu lives simply, from the heart, not the intellect. Simple words carry love and grace. Engage in Satsaṅga where speech is clear for all. Spring's energy brings inner awakening and outward growth, moving through life's stages toward renunciation. All practitioners seek God within and without. Even non-belief is a form of belief. Study the meaning of life. Worldly hungers are never fulfilled; only Self-knowledge brings completeness. Perform selfless action, not laziness. Leave behind good works, not rubbish. Speak and write beautifully, for words engrave on consciousness. Do everything with love for all. Plant trees whose fruit others will enjoy. Inherit the master's spiritual quality. We build and create together, leaving a beautiful vibration as our purpose.
"O my mind, repeat the name of Kṛṣṇa, the name of God. Follow the words of the Guru, steadfast in action, and associate with the saints."
"Without the name of Kṛṣṇa or the name of God, everything is nothing. It is pointless."
