The Worship of the Elements
The five elements are divine and must be revered as God.
A sun festival exists in Europe, involving a burning wheel. Similar reverence is for water, Jal Devatā. Polluting water harms us. Fire, Agni Dev, is life; our body's heat is a divine automatic system. Fire purifies and must be kept holy. God is not a separate form but exists within every element. The ash from sacred fire is Vibhūti, containing prosperity and perfection. Food must first be offered to the fire god, which blesses it. This practice can lead to miraculous abundance. The wind and air are vital gods; imbalance causes storms. We are nourished by Mother Earth; poisoning her is poisoning ourselves. The space, Ākāśa Tattva, within our body allows movement. We are composed of these five elements held by prāṇa. Modern thinking has destroyed our roots. We must return to nature and Vedic culture, performing ceremonies for all elements to purify the world for future generations.
"God is in every element, in everything. So what can be more than the fire? The God, because that’s our life."
"If you want to see God, then see Him in these elements. Without this Tattva, we are nothing."
