Ceta Ceta Aba Jiva Agyani
Awake to the precious human opportunity for self-realization.
The soul is consciousness. For countless lives it has slept, bound by the karma of the mind and body. This human life is a brief station. The train of time arrives and departs. Do not lose this chance in sleep and attachment. Self-realization is a brilliant sunrise of awareness, achieved through spiritual work, not mere idle sitting. Attachment to relations and possessions is ignorance and the cause of suffering, for nothing accompanies the soul at death. Only karma travels with you. Practice discrimination between the eternal and the temporary. Cultivate detachment through pure love, which is service without bondage. Live a happy life but do not suffer over what comes and goes. The awakened saints bring wisdom to guide all. The Guru's grace protects one from lower existences, but this grace is received through alertness and earnest practice. Value this body and time, for they are the instruments of liberation. Keep the body healthy with sattvic living and the mind alert through straight posture and sincere effort.
"Get ready, awake, be alert, wake up, oh traveler! The train is coming, the train is going."
"Nothing will go with us. This soul, empty, naked, covered with the gases of karma, travels into nothingness."
