Nada yoga and bindhu chakra (2/4)

The true devotee has no fear. The human body is a system of energy, light, and sound centered at the navel, the Maṇipūra Cakra. This resonance guides existence. Enlightenment is the light of wisdom that dispels ignorance, which is darkness. Positive and negative thoughts create corresponding vibrations that direct one's path. Actions in the physical world create karma, which determines destiny in the astral world after death. One should fear only the consequences of one's own karma. The body contains 52 protective channels of sound and energy that guard its major chakras. Through practices like Nāḍī Yoga and mantra repetition, these inner sounds are awakened, leading to self-realization. Correct mistakes without fear; it is never too late to change.

"Enlightenment means the wisdom that everything is clear to you."

"But only from one thing you should be afraid: karma."

We continue: the seat of the sound, the center of the universe, that’s called the universal navel. And if you know, then you are the liberated one. And if you don’t know, you should know the practicing of yoga and dead life and nāḍī yoga. In our body, we have the main center chakra; the head of all is the maṇipūra chakra. First was created in the physical body, the Maṇipūra Cakra. It means the light and the sound. Light and sound were concentrated on one point. And that was the Maṇipūra Cakra. After that, all different systems developed in the body: different organs, nerves, muscles, and so on. Now, our whole body is tuned in beautiful sound, the resonance. And it is that resonance which leads our body from place to place. The sound, the light, and the energy now, the three come together. So the energy is that cosmic Śakti, the light is that cosmic consciousness, and the sound is the cosmic resonance. This makes it possible for a creature to move and to come to the aim, to the destination, it doesn’t matter what kind of destination you have. Without light, you can’t find the way. Light means not this physical light; it is a light of wisdom, a light of intuition, the light which is guiding you innerly, maybe through the senses. Through the smell or through the sound and so on, that is the light. Enlightenment means not that you will see this physical light. Enlightenment means the wisdom that everything is clear to you. When you, for example, lose something, you are a valuable document. You don’t know where it is. It means you are in ignorance. It means we don’t know where it is, so this is a darkness. You are searching everywhere, but you don’t find. Then you go to your sleeping room, and you make your bed. And you find the document under your pillow. Now you’ve got the knowledge. And now you know what it is and where it is. The ignorance disappeared. That ignorance, which made you maybe unhappy, maybe nervous or angry, that again you have to make your documents, it creates more work. It was the ignorance. Darkness means ignorance. Ignorance means that darkness that we don’t know. Enlightenment is the knowledge. Now you know where your document is. You don’t see the light like this now, but you know. And that’s called the light of wisdom, the light of knowledge. Now it means that many things we don’t know about ourselves, and many things we don’t know about others, many things we don’t know about God, we don’t know the purpose of life. We are searching everything, even we are searching ourselves. We are searching: where are we, who are we, where is the peace within ourselves, where is contentment within ourselves, where is the happiness within ourselves. Also, we know that within us there are negative qualities too. You may call it anger, you may call it jealousy, you may call it different things. If we know, we can take away. And if we know, we can develop more, so it means in the ignorance. So ignorance is the darkness, and knowledge is the light. Now, with this light of the knowledge, we have that energy. Cosmic energy is produced through that resonance, cosmic resonance. That resonance which we call the cosmic resonance, the OṂ. And so, energy, light, and resonance. Now, that resonance we can develop also physically, meaning chanting our mantra, chanting some songs, bhajans, instruments; this is a physical sound. But if the sound is in harmony, then it awakens inner positive energy. If the sound is more aggressive, restless, rajasic, then it influences energy differently. Differently. So energy, sound, and light. And these three are stored, or have their place, in the navel. Energy comes to the Iḍā, the light comes to the Piṅgalā, and the resonance comes to the Suṣumnā. So these three nāḍīs are connecting our self to our inner self. So, Kriya Yoga, which is a very powerful technique, now, which Kriya? There are many, many kriyās in the world, many, many. So you cannot say which kriyā. Every Kriya is very powerful. Every student, every practitioner who got experiences, who got enlightenment, who came to the realization, had a particular technique. And you have to be faithful to this technique, not only for a few years; it is lifelong. This body is given to you for physical life. So this is a lifelong body on this planet. Now you have to be in this body, and you don’t want to give up this body because the body has become part of your existence. The body has become a part of your identity. The body has become a part of the instrument. This body has become your house, and you don’t know anything more than this. That’s why you would like to keep the body, because we are afraid: what will happen to us? Where will we be? Which kind of karma will come? Where will the destiny lead us? What will be, and what will be with all these things with hard work? Without rest, day and night, trying very hard with everything. Sometimes to lie—how many times a businessman lies? It is said psychologically, minimum 250 times a businessman lies per day to sell the goods. That’s life, that’s business. You get in one crown, and you want to sell it for five crowns. And you know, to sell it for five crowns, you have to lie. You don’t want to give in one crown because you know that you also must earn. You also must have something; you must also live. So to live, you have to lie. That’s the problem. One man was against medicine, allopathic medicine, and against doctors. It was not nice of him. We should never be against anyone. We should never be against any medicine. As you know, allopathic medicine has done great research, and in an emergency, you will know what this medicine means. It can save your life, and other medicines are also very good. You didn’t get some relief through this medicine, and you are against it. But a law that you are against does not mean the whole system is bad. But there are some people who are angry at the doctors, and thanks to God, doctors are never angry. The doctor knows this is the ignorance of this person. Doctor says it is my dharma to help. Doesn’t matter which kind of doctor it is. Allopathic, homeopathic, ayurvedic, naturopathic, and so on. The man was against the doctor, and he had one friend. And the friend was not against. Can you imagine gossiping? Whenever he made it, he was talking with his other friend, who was a positive one. It’s terrible. Doctors are terrible. The whole pharmacy system is very terrible. Only commercial, putting blackmail. So, who is gossiping? What will be? Frog. And who is listening? What will be? Snake. That’s it. So if someone is talking about something which is not divine in your principle, you should not listen. Otherwise, you will also become a snake, though you are not a guilty one. But someone gave you negative feedback, blackmailing. So we can say poisonous mailing. Surprisingly, the man who was always talking against doctors and medicines went to the doctor. And he was very well known to doctors, that this is a person who doesn’t like doctors. So the doctor was happy, made a photo, and he spoke something with the doctor, and the doctor wrote a prescription for what medicine he should take. He said thank you, now he went to the chemist, and he bought the medicine. In a small village, everyone knows everyone. And people were surprised that he was going to buy medicine. He said often, "Even I will die, don’t give me medicine, don’t let the doctor touch my body." There are fixed ideas. So, the people who were working in this chemistry shop also made a photo while taking medicine in hand. Evidence will never die. And he went to his friend and told him. Friend was surprised. The doctor cost him money. Medicine cost him money, and they went for a walk. So they were walking, and there was a small bridge over the river. And they were walking over the bridge, and that man, a negative man. He took the medicine, opened it, and threw it in the river. The other one said, "You must be crazy. I don’t understand." He said, "Why are you so against the doctors and medicines? Why did you go to the doctor? Because the doctor must live from something." In this way, I am positive. Then why did you buy the medicine? Because the pharmacy and people should also live. Then why don’t you take this medicine? Why did you throw it? I also want to live. That’s it. So sometimes in life, lie and truth go parallel. But everything is counted. Therefore, in our life, the negative energy creates negative vibrations in the body. And positive thoughts and energies create positive vibrations, and that will lead us in their direction. So, the human body, the energy, light, and sound. And these three are very important: energy, light, and sound. It is located in our navel center, the Maṇipūra Cakra. Now we come to a different part of the body. Imagine your country, the map of your country. I hope you know the map. And you know which countries are connecting to your border. And you know how the map looks. So every country has its border. And your border is guarded by your military force. The Border Security Force. I think every country has this, no? There is no country existing which doesn’t have a security force, in Kali Yuga, unfortunately. Similarly, for 8.4 million different creatures who are existing in this endless universe in physical form, plus individually now, 8.4 million is only different forms, but how many are they all? We cannot count anymore. Now, there are two different worlds existing: the physical world and the astral world. So, for your soul, for your real self, who is a victim of destiny, who is a victim of birth, who will be a victim of death, who will exist individually. On this planet or in the astral world. So these are two worlds, physical and astral. Feelings, understandings, everything that we have in the physical body, feelings, we will have in the astral world too. If you don’t believe in after birth, or after death, then why are you talking about heaven? Who is coming to heaven? Or why are you talking about paradise? Who is coming there? Or why are you talking about nirvāṇa? Who is coming there? Or what we call Svarga. It means after this physical body, the individual still exists. In the physical world, we can create karma. In the physical world, we can act. Means our actions will have some fruits, reactions. When, for example, you are locked in a room, you can make a sound, knock on the door, or call, "Please help me," and it will be heard, and someone will come and will help you to come out. But after the physical body, in the astral, you can knock as much as you like, but there is no one to listen. Not only knocking on the door, you can knock on the chest of your wife who is sleeping. And in the astral body, you are knocking her. No effect. It means it is very clear: every individual, doesn’t matter human or other creature, has a destiny. And the destiny leads you. All tricks you did in this life, all negative you did in this life, all you tried to become clever, not in the correct way, you will suffer a thousand times more. That’s it. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be afraid. Never and never from anyone. Don’t be scared. But only from one thing you should be afraid: karma. Physical karma, mental karma, verbal karma, and social position are all through thinking intellectually. That’s all. So if you take care now, then you will be more comfortable here and a thousand times more comfortable somewhere else. Again, the sound energy and resonance—all these are not visible, and that is a major part of your astral body. And that will lead you there. Now, how many creatures, how many billions of billions, exist in physical form now? And how many times more in the astral? We don’t know. Each physical creature is like one country. It is one phenomenon, or one house, and this house has its territory. And this territory is guarded by cosmic power, energy. No creature is left without guarding, and it is they who will take care of you, that you remain individual until you will come to that knowledge, self-realization, where you will merge into the universal one. At that time, your existence will be universal existence. And so it is said, when the human body was created, or a human being, definitely there were many, many powers involved. Whatever you may call it, and how it happened that human God had that much energy, that was right. You know, a clerk who is working in his small office has a right, many. But the president has mostly all rights. So mostly, humans got the rights, meaning to protect. Do not misuse your rights. Do not misguide others. Not to act negatively towards others. Nurture in our inner being. Through humanity, you can become God. That’s why you got those powers. Now, the human God, 52 different extra powers of the resonance, which are guarding the human existence—means not your social life, not your house, and you and your work and this and that—but purely as this model, and what is within as a human, these 52. Different kinds of energy: protective energy, which has sound, light, and energy. And this is guarding your territory of physical body, mental body, subtle body, and causal body. To guard you and supply you all the energy that you need. It’s a long, long story when it began. Answer cannot be very correct, given. We said, without dying, you cannot see the heaven. You can talk about heaven, many things, but exactly how it is, you have to die, and after death, if you don’t see heaven, it is your problem. That’s it. Therefore, don’t die to see heaven. Because in such a way, there isn’t a heaven. These 52 different kinds of sound channels you may call devas, goddesses. In Sanskrit language or in Hindi language, devas must not be like humans. What we call God, incarnation, devas, and asuras, you may call the holy and Satan. Must not be like a human, you see. We call Agni deva, so fire is a god, fire is divine. Vāyu deva, all five elements, the holy earth. The mother Earth, similarly, there are many other elements, tattvas, that mean the different goddesses. God is only one, but many manifestations. Only one you have: your ātmā. Your ātmā represents the Universal One. But as a soul, Jīvātmā, you are individual. An individual has this destiny to face the destiny in this world and to face the destiny in the other world. How will it be? Only you know. Don’t ask me, Swamiji, what will be my destiny. Did you ask me always before thinking something? Did you ask me before drinking water, "Can I drink water?" Did you ask me, "Can I make a curve to the left side, to the right side?" Everything that you do is your karma, and you know that. Don’t ask anyone, "God, what will be with me?" God said, "You know better." That’s it. So don’t hide from yourself, and still, it’s not too late. You can begin to do something better. Sometimes it’s painful for this stupid intellect. No, I cannot go back. There was one man born in Maribor. This is in Slovenia. Ex-Yugoslavia, and it was immediately after the Second World War. So they had one son, about 10 years old. And he went to the neighbor’s garden and stole the mice. He came back and he gave it to his grandmother. Grandmother, I would like to eat corn today. Grandmother said, yes, my son. But from where did you get it? So he said, "I stole it." Grandmother said, "OK." Take this back to that man to whom the garden belongs, and give it back to him and say, "I’m sorry I was stealing from your garden," and then you come back. Well, can you imagine for that boy how hard it is to go back and say, "I was stealing"? But grandmother said, "No, you must go and see." And he went to that gardener, and the gardener said, "Oh, my boy, it doesn’t matter. Take it home and eat it." Next time when you need more, come to me, and I will give it to you. And he came happily at home, and the grandmother asked, "And how was it?" He told this woman, "So, never be afraid to correct your mistake." You should go and surrender. Your ego is too strong. No, I will not say. And then you will have to face more pain. That, I mean, it’s never too late to begin to correct your life and say to your friends, "I’m sorry, forgive me. Out of my ignorance, my ego, I neglected you, or I did something." So every karma will have a reaction, and so destiny will lead your astral body. And there is still sound, light, and energy. So, in the human body, the 52 strong channels, that is protective energy, that’s protective sound, and that’s protective energy. And these all 52 are guarding our chakras, so every chakra, which is designed, has its name given as a lotus, and about the lotus we know a lot: each petal is a seat of that sound. That’s called a very gentle resonance: resonance, light, and energy. And these sounds, yogīs, maybe Lord Śiva, in meditation, they saw the forms. And that they put down, we call, the Devanāgarī alphabet. Deva means goddess. Nagarik means citizens. So that divine energy, the citizen of the divine world, is guarding, protecting your existence, and this planet. And in the future one, wherever you are, now this is 52 different channels. It is observing, guiding, protecting, and it cares about your well-being. And therefore, the major eight chakras, which we often speak about now—all these major chakras, there are thousands in the body centers, but the major ones are these eight. And from these eight chakras, it is guided and directed by one center. Nābhi Kamala. And from the Nābhi Kamala, the energy, the sound, and the light are spread in the body. When you begin to do some Kriya, let’s say maybe only you are repeating your mantra, that’s also your kriyā. Or you do every day only Kṛtak, or you do certain Prāṇāyāma. Or you do a Kriyā every day, which your master gives you. The combination of the bandhas, mudrās, mantras, concentrations, the sound, and the light. After certain years, many, many years, then all these techniques which you are doing, they concentrate directly on the Maṇipūra Cakra, and it purifies and awakens these three very important principles: sound, light, and energy. And that also we can awaken through the Nāḍī Yoga. Our entire existence is nothing other than a sound. Imagine that one bee is flying, and we see a bee. But this bee is only a sound; you don’t see the bee. Similarly, you are only a sound. Now the sound is balanced or imbalanced. Like that, it depends. So in the sound, energy, light, each blood cell has thousands of different sounds. Can you imagine how many blood cells we have? How many systems do we have? How big are the hurricanes we are? Very big hurricanes. When a human dies, God goes into the whole universe. And the destiny said, "Go this side, go that side." There are some nice pictures, but I don’t want to show you. So, out of all this, this light, energy, and sound, or resonance, first of all, guides our senses. Five karmendriyas and five jñānendriyas. The senses are very, very important for our existence. Jñānendriyas and karmendriyas. And these five senses of jñānendriyas and five karmendriyas are connected to those sounds. And the governor of these ten indriyas is the mind. The mind is also sound, light, and energy. So when you begin to concentrate and practice Nāḍī Yoga, first you will come to different kinds of ten sounds. These sounds are from each indriya, each sense. Of course, there are sounds of the blood circulation. You hear like a waterfall, or you hear like the waves of the ocean. When you go first time somewhere near the ocean and sleeping in the night, and the ocean is about one kilometer far, you hear the sound of the waves. Or like a train. You hear the locomotive. You hear the waterfall. You hear the sound of the sea. This all is connected with our blood circulation. It is good. It’s not bad. Then you begin to hear the sound of your heart. The pulse sound, then you also hear the sound of your intestines. Also, the functions, the liquid, the blood in the kidneys. It means now you begin your astral traveling within the body. It’s beautiful, it’s endless. You don’t find the end. Though the body is only this much, but when you dive within, thyself is endless and beautiful, sometimes. Terrifying by God, then after you come to the ten senses. Then when you come to the ten senses, like you enter in the kindergarten, when they have the pause, so many different things. Five senses of the desires and five senses of the knowledge. About this, you know, so you will hear now ten sounds. Yes. Now, somehow your train is coming on the rail, and after these ten sounds comes the other sound. We will talk this evening about this. So what I told you, you should listen carefully again. Make manana. For 45 minutes, you will have meditation with your mantra without guidance, and whatever I told, I spoke, repeat again. In your meditation, while making mantra, I will be with you this evening. This evening time is given as 6:30, because it is winter time. Sunset is very early, so the program will begin at 6:30. I wish you very good rest and very good meditation. Do not go in and out. If you don’t want to meditate, then go out now and don’t come in until 6:30. And if you don’t want to meditate, go out now and don’t come back until 6:30.
