Filming location: Mumbai, India

We have received Gurudev’s blessings, and you have all heard and read the Guru Chālisā, the Satva Guru Chālisā. I will sing it, and whoever remembers, please sing along with me. First, let us loudly chant Gurudev’s name in Gurudev’s court. Namo Gurudev Jī—He is the creator of all, pervading inside and outside, the supreme reality. O Supreme God of the gods, I remember You again and again; without Your grace, liberation is not attained. Rishis, munis, and all saints chant Your name; through this, self-knowledge arises, and one becomes fearless. Whoever recites the Satguru Chāḷī with devotion and meditates on the Guru in the heart, the pains of birth, death, and worldly existence are erased, and time ceases to affect them. Whoever listens to the Satguru Chāḷī with focused attention attains straightforward happiness. May the dust of the mind and desires be completely purified in this lifetime. With the sweet, creative sound, the entire program today is being broadcast live via telecast all over the world. For this, please give a big round of applause for Maheshwar Anand Ji, Gumaraj Ji, and Satv Guru Dev Bhagavān. Om Namo Gurudev Dayālā. Enjoy the delightful clapping, Om Namo Gurudev. O protector of the devoted, bestow your grace. You incarnated to uplift the sinking world, O Mahānsa. Those fortunate ones who have the devotion to behold your vision are truly blessed. Your name is like a ship that carries happiness, guiding souls across; without it, they are lost. The supreme Brahman is the Guru, the imperishable pure essence, always a reservoir of bliss. There is no giver like the Guru. There is no king, no emperor, no hope greater than the Guru. When the soul turns towards the Guru, the knot is untied, and the sins of countless kalpas are erased. Those upon whom the Guru’s grace descends have no lack. When Gurudev visits their home, the life of the devotee is transformed. Ram, Lakshman, and the guru are known; Vishv Vijay became the great knower. Krishna, the Mahāprabhujī, bearer of the guru’s command, Himself the supreme Brahman incarnation. The grace of the Satguru is exceedingly profound. Narada’s eighty-four thousand austerities are difficult, yet without the guru, even the gods do not attain happiness. When one receives the guru, O people, then the body attains self-knowledge and great bliss. Vyāsa, Vaśiṣṭha, Guru Mahār, Jānī Sakal Śāstra ke Bhae Ati Jñānī. The infinite-seeing sage, the avatāra, the flow of consciousness at the feet of the Satguru—those who hold the name of the Satguru cleanse the sins of countless kalpas. The wave of serving the Satguru carries one beyond the sixteen heavens. The penance of past lives awakens; the penance of past lives awakens. Only then does the mind incline toward serving the Guru. Through serving the Guru, all happiness is attained, and the cycle of birth after birth is preserved. Few understand the service of the guru; only the wise recognize this truth. Chant the name of the satguru day and night, for this companion is for countless lifetimes. The blind desire wealth and pleasure; the blind desire wealth and pleasure. Those who seek happiness focus their mind in the service of the guru. When the mind is devoted to the true guru, the guru... If obstacles arise in service, one falls into hell. Those who remain detached from serving the Guru always endure Yama’s punishment. Hell is no place for the detached from the Guru. No matter how many millions of times one betrays the Guru, they are never truly fulfilled. Only those who take the true Guru are truly fulfilled; those who do not, never attain the immovable. Not everyone is saved by the name of the saint; without the name, one dies. The messenger of Yama flees immediately from the one whose mind is attached to the Satguru. Ghosts and demons do not come near where the name of the Satguru is chanted. Sorcery, spells, and magic have no power over the devotee of the Guru. Sorcery, spells, and magic have no power over the devotee of the Guru. What does the worldly man or woman understand? For the devotee of the Guru, the true Guru is the sovereign of dharma; the account of the king of dharma is false. The true devotee attains Satloka, the realm of truth. The king of dharma has limits, but the true devotee transcends all boundaries. The true devotee is the refuge of all, their work is eternal and sovereign. The Guru is the support of all devotees, and the Guru reigns supreme over all the gods. Whoever reads, listens to, focuses on, and delights in this Sat Guru Chāḷī will be freed from all suffering. It is universally accepted that in the month of Ashādh, 2023, the Sat Guru Chāḷī was composed in Nipal Nagar by Pramā Uch Sāyab Dīphar Hari Satguru Paramadāyāl Mādvānā. Bliss was attained instantly. By beholding the banks of the Narayan Ganga river in Nagar Nipal, sorrows are dispelled, purity is attained, and the body and mind become one. O embodiment of virtue, Gurudev Bhagavān, the great lord of the mind, the supreme head, Gurudev Mahārāj, Maishwarānand Ji, I offer my salutations to Gurudev, O Guru, to you I bow. So, Govind gave the address of Param Guru Svāmījī. Param Guru Svāmījī, the birth reformer, the original Guru Svāmījī—when Gurudev arrives in our lives, life becomes complete. Param Guru Svāmījī, the birth reformer, the reformer of Hari, the supreme Guru, the purifier of the body, the remover of impurities, the one who is our very vision. The arrival of sandalwood refines the body; the Guru refines the mind; the Guru’s birth brings transformation; the Guru awakens the dormant. The name of the guru is like the Philosopher’s Stone; the disciple’s iron becomes gold. Paras Mani is the name of the Guru; the disciple is like a mirror, gold, a crow, or a swan. Whose voice do we hold? The supreme Guru, Svāmījī, the transcendent Lord, the divine Lord of Devapuri. Shī Nārāyaṇa, Purusho Tamāchī, Shī Dev Purī Bhagavān, Shī Dīp Kahe Dhanya Devne Jī, Saphal Bhayā Param Guru Mastānā He Liye. The carefree devotee is madly devoted to the Satguru; the one devoted to the Satguru always greets the Satguru with reverence. Madly devoted to the name of Satgurū, madly devoted to the name of Satgurū, madly, madly devoted to the name of Satgurū, a carefree fakīr, carefree, carefree... fakīr of the skies, this earth itself is the night. The sky and the earth, the sun and the wind, all are indifferent; the true Guru alone is worthy of reverence. Carefree, fearless, the Lord is beyond all worries. The caste and creed do not matter; they are like equal stones. The caste and creed do not matter; they are like equal stones. One who is madly devoted to the true Guru’s name, one who is madly devoted to the true Guru’s name. It flows, it flows... p- It is a very beautiful creation. You can subscribe; there is a little girl who feels like receiving blessings here. With a little more strength and a bit of rhythm, I went into the satsang with a count of one, two, three, four, five. In satsang, everyone listens attentively; no one disregards it. Life does not feel complete without satsang. Dhar Nāgar, Dhar Nāgar, Chīn Saṅg. Look, what is being said? It is the speech of Baishvarāranjī Mahārāj. He says that the od chunarī (a type of veil) went to the satsang, and when it went to the satsang, it became the chunarī of Gurudev’s blessings. But how did it get there? This is a clever question. What work did Gurudev do? This is a very beautiful composition: "Chet chet ab jīv akāni ab tar āda ek guru samjhā ve jo ant samay." What is said in satsaṅga, and those who have already come to Gurudev’s satsaṅga, Maishuranand Ji’s... They know very well what worldly life is; Gurudev makes us aware of these things. Listen, mothers, fathers, and family—never let this thread break, for who will save you when Yama’s strike falls upon your head? Understand this. Such beautiful lines are very rare to find in a singer. It is a very beautiful line, listen carefully: One who takes refuge in the Satguru, who else but a fool crosses the ocean of existence? One who takes refuge in the Satguru, who else but a fool crosses the ocean of existence? Without the grace of the Guru, even a thief is not considered a Guru. The Guru is understood as the true Guru; awaken, awaken now, O soul. Ignorance is understood as wisdom, but the lamp of knowledge awakens the world. Shri Pujya Bhagavān Dīp Narāyan Sūtā Ansa Jagā Bhere Shri Pujya Bhagavān Dīp Narāyan Sūtā Ansa Jagā Bhere. Says Mādhavānanda, dear through bhajan, Says Mādhavānanda, through bhajan, He explains that the guru is the teacher of all happiness, Awaken, awaken now, O Jīva, O earth, Awaken, awaken now, O Jīva, O mother, Now the guru explains. Speak of Sadguru Dev Bhagavān Mahēśvarānanda Jī Mahārāj, and you too do not pause your speech even for a moment. Give your speech a little task, give it the task of singing the praises of the Guru. Sing the praises of the Guru with me—it is very simple, a great source of light, an ocean of nectar. The ocean of amṛta, the light of worship, the ocean of amṛta, the auspicious lamp of Hari Mahadānī, Throughout the entire universe echoes the immortal story of the Lord, The light of worship, the ocean of amṛta, the lamp of Śrī Mahadānī, The light of worship, the ocean of amṛta, the lamp of Hari Mahatānī. Throughout the entire world, the immortal story of the Lord is being sung; from the immortal form, the immortal speech descended like clouds. The threefold afflictions are raining down across the entire world, Across the entire world is raining the immortal story of the Prabhu, The immortal story of the Prabhu. Upon this, the immortal rain poured down, thus great fortune was bestowed. The one upon whom this great fortune was bestowed, having drunk the amṛta to the full, comes with a fearless mind. Throughout the entire world, the immortal story of the Lord resounds like the call of the koel. The enlightened Lord knows Brahman; the knower of Brahman is the enlightened Lord. When the eyes open, one sees and attains the immortal sign. I will not recite the entire verse, just sing one line: throughout the entire world resounds the immortal tales of the Lord. Just sing this one line, it is resonating throughout the entire world—the immortal story of the Lord. The immortal story of the Lord is being revered throughout the entire world. Oh, for the immortal story, you must dedicate yourself. The immortal story of the Prabhu has truly captivated the heart. It has begun, it has begun... In the midst, it came to mind—if the mind is attached to the world, then what is the use? If the mind is attached to the world, then what is the use? Oh, if the world is true, then it is not; if it is false, then it is found. If the world were true, then it would not exist, and if false, then Ram would not be found. The mind is attached, yes, the mind is attached, yes, the mind is attached. And I will say two lines for our dear devotee, dear disciple Narandra Bhai. I am a mere servant for them in two lines, Gordhev. How is it that, by your grace, all my work is being accomplished? You do it, Kanhaiyā, you do it, Gurudev, you do it, Gurudev. My name is being called, you do it. If there is any lack in me, say it. You also repeat this line: Gurudev is sitting in front of you, you are with me. If there is any lack in me, what is it? When one surpasses Bhagavān, one meets Bhagavān later; first, one meets Gurudev. We must remember this. That is why I say, as long as you are with me, what lack do I have? There is no lack. However, whatever it may be, there is not a single deficiency. It is not a matter of wealth or riches; many things are involved in it. Troubles can arise from the body, from tension, from the surroundings—anything at all. There are many kinds of difficulties. Whatever troubles you have, today by singing this line, you will be liberated before Gurudev. This is your opportunity; Gurudev does not come again and again. These opportunities come once in a year, once in three years; do not miss them. Everyone will sing in their own voice. If you are with me, whatever lack there is in my voice will be fulfilled. See, the resonance is being completed. The more you reduce the resonance, the less your achievement will be. If you do it at full volume, then grace will also be at full volume. Otherwise, grace will cease; keep this in mind—you are with me, so what lack do I have? See, we do not wish to receive the entire benefit alone; we are sharing it with you as well. We become completely calm, just absolutely silent, very slowly. Your voice should resonate in Gurudev’s gatherings; you are with me, so what lack do I have now? Your voice has been stamped with approval from the hearts. Clap your hands a little louder. You are with me, so what lack do I have? You... When I have you with me, I no longer need anything else. There is no desire for anything else now. With you, everything happens; with you, everything unfolds. We are blossoming, Anuj, for our Mahāprabhujī. Let there be a resounding round of applause once more for him—this entire family, this entire music, for Gurudev. It is preserved, and those who are connected to them also receive their touch because they are fully blessed by Gurudev. May this grace remain upon everyone in the same way. I extend my best wishes to all devotees. Without any support, my nāb is functioning, and I am also receiving strength; I am not doing anything myself. I am not doing anything; everything is happening on its own. Gurudev Shri Meśvar Aranji Mahārāj Narandar Ji came for a second, Narandar Ji for a second, just for a second. From Shiva Lok, Shiva sent the Argyānī Siddha Yogi to the land of India, and thus Shri Maheshwarānand Jī Mahārāj was born. Hail Shri Maheshwarānand Jī Mahārāj! Blessed is Phūlī Bāī, for on the fifteenth of August, she gave birth to the Yogiśvara who accomplished great deeds. Maheshwar is unparalleled. Blessed is Phūlī Pāind Jīj, blessed indeed is Phūlī Pāind Lā. In the lineage of Mahāreśī Karagācārya, after the Rāman family Dāśrī-kṛta Candra-jī Paṇḍit Upavāta jīte rahe. I studied at Madhvanand Ji’s Nepal Ashram for a short time, during which I acquired all knowledge. Though the time was brief, I gained all knowledge and never forgot it. Not too much, just by going to 105 countries, we tell foreigners about the culture of our India and to them. They emphasize becoming vegetarians; this is an important point to pay attention to. Applaud for that. Maheshwar Anand went abroad and made foreigners vegetarians, spoke about Indian culture, explained Indian traditions, and provided knowledge about India. And today, they are... Among the devoted ones, many are those who, having traveled the world, took care of the yogīśvarīs and the vidyās. Traveling the world, they nurtured the yogīśvarīs and the vidyās, and through the nectar of knowledge and yoga sādhanā, they purified everyone—both foreigners and natives—making them pure and cooperative, and delivered them from the impure. Practice with pure conduct, thought, and devotion; the seer becomes blessed. The guru of the guru is the lamp, the land of ārat, made into direct evidence. O Arat Mātā, O Sanya, O Maheshwarānanda Ji, you are truly blessed—the guru of gurus. Arat is the land where direct evidence of the Guru has been manifested. Peeth Vishwatīp Gurudhān and Yodh Peeth Vishwatīp Gurudhān, seekers, seekers... on the sacred festival, the festival of Hari Dvār has taken the age. After cleansing the soul, the sacred festival led to Hari Dvār; the era became one of great liberation, the akhāṛā of liberation was established, and the great Śvarpā came to life. Within this, I am reciting the final lines of India’s glorious saga. An extraordinary light has arisen; Ganeśpurī sings the praises of the Guru. You must have remembered this line by now: together with me, we will say, Jai Śrī Mahārāj, Dhanyavākuru Gurudev, Śrī Mahām Yogīśvar Mahārāj kī Mahārāj kī.
