Spiritual festivals

Human life is designed for service, protection, and understanding creation, not for ego-driven destruction. The great saints designed daily life with sacred festivals and observances to occupy the mind with spirituality, creating peace and leaving no time for violence. Modern technology, while good, grows destructive, but divinely ordained traditions are not dangerous. Each day of the week holds a specific spiritual significance and practice, connecting life to cosmic rhythms. This continuous sacred engagement makes every day a festival, fostering happiness and divine connection. If this design is followed, it creates heaven in the mortal world.

"Making highways and skyscrapers is only for the fulfillment of the ego of human life."

"If we can do this, it means every day we are fasting... What peace!"

All dear ones, here and there, in different parts of the world, human life is designed for serving the creatures, protecting them, and understanding the creation of God. It doesn’t matter if it’s vegetation, the ocean, or mountains. The human should live life according to what we need only. It has become too much that we begin to destroy even the mountains with such big machines, destroying every day. Making highways and skyscrapers is only for the fulfillment of the ego of human life. On the other hand, humans become very violent. That’s why the great saints around the world designed a good occupation for humans, which keeps their vṛttis in a little peaceful situation while upgrading their spirituality. This is a different kind of festival: cultural, social, religious. So, almost every day, we have some kind of celebration. If we really do this, we will have peace in our heart and in our mind. There will be no time for stupid things and for fighting. Every day, there is some spiritual event. Maybe it is a cultural, a social event, or something in nature: the birth, the wedding, and also the funeral and the ceremonies after. The ṛṣis, the great saints, kept our life busy. They designed the everyday life of humans. But we humans don’t care about that; we’ve forgotten. Now we are crazy after technology, and this technology, of course, is good, but also destructive. As far as we go with the techniques, that much is growing the destruction. But what God has designed, or the great saints have designed, that is not dangerous. That’s very, very important for us. For example, the seven days of the week. Monday is the day of Lord Śiva. We worship, we make abhiṣekas, prasāda, etc. Then comes Tuesday. Tuesday is for strength—spiritual strength, physical strength. That’s called Tuesday, Maṅgala. All these seven days are connected with the seven planets. It is also compared to the strength of Hanumanjī. So it is Hanuman day. Hanuman day means removing the fear and giving a strong willpower, developing a strong willpower so that you are no more afraid, no more scared. It makes our consciousness so clear that nothing can happen to us. So every morning or every day, we shall chant Hanumān Chālīsā. The Hanumān Chālīsā takes five minutes to chant, but it is very, very powerful. It is a request to the Supreme to give this strength and motivation. So, Hanumān Chālīsā is very spiritual, full of strength. Those who have fear all the time should chant Hanumān Chālīsā, and you will see you have no more fear. But of course, we should know the meanings. When we know the meanings, then we have more confidence. Otherwise, we like to chant, but we don’t know what we are chanting. Perhaps we will work tomorrow to translate the Hanumān Chālīsā. Jai, Jai... Hanuman. Hanuman Jī. Jñāna Guṇasāgara. He is the ocean of knowledge. Then comes Wednesday. Wednesday is Venus, very nice. Wednesday is for Gaṇeśjī, Bhagavān Gaṇeśa. Ganesha is a balance, ever happy. It doesn’t matter how you design Gaṇeśa, he always looks beautiful. No one is more beautiful than Ganeshji. He has such a gentle smile, and he is the remover of obstacles. Gaṇeśa has four wives. Can you understand? One is ṛddhi, one is siddhi, one is buddhi. This wife means this tendency, which is good for us. They serve Gaṇeśa, and they are around him. Where Gaṇeśa is, they are. So, the wealth, the prosperity, the fulfillment. It’s a beautiful day. When it’s Gaṇeśa’s day, you can eat the laddus and everything. Then comes Thursday. You know what Thursday is. The highest peak is Jupiter, and Jupiter is here near our second finger, the index finger. Look at your palm now, and this part is the highest. Someone has nothing higher. So when you go like this, and this is higher, then your Gurujī is strong—on the index finger, on the root of the index finger. If not, then you have to do some Guru Sevā. When you do the Guru Sevā, then it will come up. There is one technique to get this Jupiter higher. Jupiter is the Guru of all the planets. There is a Kumbh Melā coming where there is a constellation of Jupiter and the Sun together, and that is a Siṅgha. I don’t want to tell my things, but when I was born, it was this constellation, Siṅgha-sla. That’s why I’m the lion. But you are many lions, no problem. Look into that constellation. The moon calendar, the moon astrology, is perfect. The sun one is okay, but just for our satisfaction. It is a garī pal. Even half a second makes a difference. So you should always look: how is your Jupiter? If all other planets are not in a good position for you, but if your Jupiter is high, no problem, you are fine, don’t worry. There is a Guru day, that’s why we call the Guru, the Wednesday, Tuesday, Saturday. Then comes Friday. So fry your samosas, fry your pakoras, fry your pancakes. Friday is the Mother’s Sanctus day. Sanctus means peace. Sanctus means contentment. There is the Divine Mother, called Santoṣī Mā. You will see in India there are many, many temples of Santoshi Mahāprabhu. It is said, those girls or women who can’t get a child can make a saṅkalpa and pūjā to the Santoṣī mother, and you will get a baby. On that day, you have to follow all rules very strictly. You should not eat anything sour. Certain things are there. I didn’t fast because I don’t need to. And even if I get fasting, I can’t get a baby. You help me all as a baby. So, Friday is very good, and also the moon. Then comes Saturday. Saturday is also very powerful. Saturn can be nice, and it can be not nice. That is very fragile. You have to do sādhanā for that, and it is very good. On that day, you eat black sesame seeds, and there are some other things. Then comes Sunday, the sun, and there is also fasting. It is called Sūrya Nārāyaṇa. Sūrya is the sun. Nārāyaṇa is Viṣṇu. All these seven days have a spiritual meaning, and we shall be aware of this. If we can do this, it means every day we are fasting. So automatically, we only eat once. You can eat coconut, fruits, you can have milk, and you can have lassi, but not anything cooked. This is the only thing you should eat because you can’t endure the hunger. So, some little things are very important. Every day is already a festival. On a fasting day, don’t be angry, don’t fight, don’t use any weapons, don’t make any bombs explode, no suicide; you see, everything is finished. What peace! Oṁ Saccidānanda, Oṁ Saccidānanda, Oṁ Saccidānanda... So this is all for the seven days. We are occupied. On this fasting, when there is fasting, no kind of drugs, no alcohol, and no meat. So every seven days are fasting days, celebrating. If you have some other free day, it’s okay. But after Sunday, again Monday is there. Monday, Shiva. You know that Shiva has a great bhakti always beside him. You may call him secretary, or his messenger. That’s called Nandi. In the right ear of the Nandi, when you go to the Shiva temple—hey girls, it’s a very secret thing I’m telling you. Nandi is not here today. That’s why. He is sitting here listening, oh God. Okay. So Nandi. In his right ear, morning after brushing the teeth and everything, because he doesn’t like the smells of the human body. Someone said, "If you want to get rid of your girlfriend, then don’t brush your teeth, and don’t wash your armpits, and take a bath only once a week. Don’t change the socks." Oh, God. Because that is Śakti, and she likes only very cleanness. If you are not clean, it doesn’t take time to kick you out. If you are not pure, then get out of it in a moment. Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya! Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya!... Namaḥ Śivāya! Namaḥ Śivāya! Śaṅkar Bhagavān Kī Su! In the morning, wash yourself nicely, without eating or drinking anything. You come to the Shiva temple, and then you go to Nandi. He is right here. Tell your wish. Please, give this message to Shiva, that he fulfills my wish. And Nandi will send a message. Your wish will be fulfilled, but in a nice way. Oṁ Nandīśvara Oṁ Nandī Oṁ Nandīśvara Oṁ Nandī Oṁ Nandeśvara, Oṁ Nandeśvara, Oṁ Nandeśvara... That’s it. So, every Monday, if every day is okay, otherwise at least on Mahāśivarātri, but you have to be very accurate and quick, because in the whole world, billions of people are talking in his ear. But he listens, and he doesn’t lose any news. He puts it in his computer, and Shiva reads it through. You know, on Christmas day, children sit in the room, and parents prepare the Christmas tree. The children come and sit. Jesus was already here and brought something for you. Especially only for you, oh God! Every house around the world, so how quickly Jesus must walk. Must be. Yes. Trust. If you trust, you will get. If you don’t trust, then this. So, this is also a festival. Christmas is a festival. There are many, many festivals in Christianity, in Islam, in Judaism, in every culture. So we have no time to fight. We have no time to think stupid. We have no time to fight with anyone. What a peaceful world! On that day, God said, "Shiva, relax," and Shiva said, "Nandi." And Nandi said, "Yes, yes, my Bhagavān." Shiva said, "How? Look, the humans are happy." Heaven on the mortal world. Then comes Pūrṇimā, full moon. Every full moon, there is a ceremony and fasting. Then comes the first moon day. Oh my God! In the whole ocean, on the bottom of the ocean, something is moving. Then we see the new moon, then the third moon, then the fourth moon, till the Amāvasyā, the dark night. Everything, every day is something for worshipping. After Maharṣi, again comes the new moon, until the Pūrṇimā. Then, every twelve months, we have great meanings. Every month belongs to a certain divine power. These are twelve months, and in this month we do like this. There are many, many festivals here too. Yes. So, that is the life of the human. The great saints gave this occupation to the humans to be happy and have a friendship, and never think negatively of or towards anyone. When we do this, God is happy. And when He is happy, then we are happy. Then Devpurījī said that Gurudev takes upon himself the destiny of the disciple. Our God takes upon Himself the destiny of the devotees. That time is again Satya Yuga, and this is a message for all of you for Śivarātri. So Shiva is everywhere. In every atom is Shiva. In every atom is the Śiva Liṅga, and everything is round. Doesn’t matter what is existing in the world. It is round. The sun ray also goes around water drops, and everything is around. The universe is around everything, and that is the consciousness. Within that consciousness, this is called the miracles of God. Every cell in this round ball has some quality, so every cell is different. If the human will go within their self, they will see that divine world, the whole universe, the whole Brahman. That’s what we meditate. When we meditate, then all stupid thoughts go away. When there is a lot of tension and a lot of stress, then our brain gets tense and squeezed. When we meditate and relax, then we’re relaxing and expanding, because then come the divine thoughts, divine light. So, we humans have many, many chances that we can celebrate in every way. That much God has given us, and if we don’t do and take, then we are really not good. Stupid. So that’s why, be happy.
