Therefore, in this moment, this time, all the world is stuck. All the world is the stop. Never saw a time like this before. So, I was staying by the river Narmadā. Just, I call to our dear Avatar Purujī. So, I have to go to Haridwar, but I don’t have a good place. So, where is the Swamijī? Where is the Mahāmaṇḍaleśvarjī? He told me, "We are together in the Jordan Ashram, Om Ashram, Om Ashram." So, I was so happy, and I told him I am coming over there, so he was also very happy. So, a few years before, I stayed one night here. At that time, there was not a lot here, just a small building. Some construction was going on at home, at the home ashram. At that time, this pond, this big reservoir, was being built. They were digging it up, and on the other side, there was a small mountain. So I asked Jasraj Purījī. That time, here was Jasraj Purījī. So he told me, "This mountain is made by our pond, what digging, the dig was there, and this is that mountain." I was so happy. But this time, Swamījī Mahāmaṇḍaleśvarī is here, Avatārapurī is here, everybody, you are here because of the coronavirus. And that virus, that virus gave opportunity for us, opportunity to us, we met together here. So it is a long story, a long discussion, but just Swāmījī told, Guru Pūrṇimā is coming near, next month, on 5th July 2020. So, I’ll talk in my language. But you’re very good in English, very, very good. So, but I’ll, in those details a little bit, so therefore, I’ll speak in Hindi. So, really, I’m so happy here, and just Swamiji told me, Swamiji spoke. So we have a very long journey, we have a very long tradition, and the tradition is not only of this Guru, the tradition is not just what you are looking at here, what you are watching here. So we always say one mantra: Sadāśiva Samārabdham, Śaṅkarācārya Madhyamam, Asmadācārya Padyantam, Vande Guru Paramparām. Can I speak in Hindi now? Okay, so our very ancient tradition, the Anādi tradition, just like how we, Swāmījī, have been following this tradition. When we call it the glory of Guru Paramparā, then Sadāśiv Samārabdham, Bhagavān Sadāśiv has started this tradition. The mantra that we have, the knowledge that we have, that is not ours. So, she is coming here from Ādi Nārāyaṇa, Ādi Sadāśiva, and every year, we worship the Guru one day in a special manner. What is the reason for that? The reason is that the Guru is for us. Guru Brahma, Guru Viṣṇu, Guru Devo Maheśvara, Guru Sākṣāt Parabrahma, Tasmai Śrī Gurave Namaḥ. We call those Gurus as Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Maheśvara. Why do we worship such Gurus? So every year on Āṣāḍha Pūrṇimā, we celebrate Guru Pūrṇimā. Because that day is the birthday of Lord Veda Vyāsa. That day is also called Vyāsa Pūrṇimā. It is also called Guru Pūrṇimā. So, on that day, we worship our own Gurudev, from Ādi Nārāyaṇa to, and in the middle, our, like, in the name of Swāmījī, later it is called Purī. Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar, Swāmī Maheśwarānand Purījī Mahārāj, we call him. The name Purī, like, with me, my upnām will be called as Girī. Swami Viśveśvarānanda Giri, these ten names are given to us by our Ādya Bhagavān Śaṅkarācārya, Ādi Nārāyaṇa, and in the middle of Ādi Nārāyaṇa is Bhagavān Śaṅkarācārya. And this dress, this name is given to him only. That is why we consider him as the Ācārya. And this tradition is still going on. Asmadaāchārya pariyantam. The current Āchāryas and Gurus, we salute this tradition. It has been said so. Now, this tradition is still going on. Gurudev keeps giving us instructions. Gurudev keeps giving darśan. Gurudev keeps telling us other things, but in a year, one day is special. The students who cannot come at other times, on the day of Guru Pūrṇimā, they get together, they worship Guru Dev Bhagavān, they express their faith in Guru Dev Bhagavān, they worship Him, they meet Him. This is how our tradition is going on. But Daiva Vaśa, as I said earlier, our world is stuck, everybody is going into problems. Similarly, this time, a small creature has come, which is invisible, can’t be seen, but has troubled the whole world, which we call the Coronavirus. Now, we should avoid it. Why should we avoid it? That this body can be used for spiritual practice. Śrī Mādhyam Kholudharma Sādhanam. So this body, through the body itself, we attain God. Through the body itself, we can do any spiritual practice. That’s why the body should be healthy. The body should be healthy. And in order to stay healthy, we should do something. So the solution is this: Swāmījī and I are sitting together. The reason for this is that he too has been sitting in the same place for the last two to three months. He is away from everyone. I too am in my ashram, I keep a distance of two meters from everyone. So why is this? Because the body is healthy. And similarly, we would like the devotees to remain healthy. They should also not face any kind of pain. They should also not face any kind of problem. So, I would like that in this time’s Guru Pūrṇimā, where the devotees are sitting, whether they are in Europe, America, Australia, India, or in any other country, wherever the devotees are sitting, because this Guru, this Guru Tattva is everywhere, not only one side, one place. Guru Tattva is everywhere. So you just need to meditate there. When you meditate there, the Guru will appear there and give you darśan on that day. But on that day, you should meditate on the Guru. Whatever mantras Gurujī has taught you, whatever mantras you know, even if you don’t know the mantras, you should meditate on the Guru. And while meditating on the Guru, on that day, you should worship Gurujī mentally, because Gurujī is there. For example, when we see Mahārāj Jī, there is a statue there. What is the name of Mahārāj Jī? What is the name of Mahārāj Jī? Dīp Nārāyaṇ. Dīp Nārāyaṇ. Prabhujī. Mādhāvānandjī. Mādhāvānandjī Mahārāj. All of these are not present in the Yajur Veda. But they are present around us. They are present around us. They just need to meditate on them. Similarly, in this difficult time, we keep our distance from our devotees and people. Similarly, I would like all the devotees of Swāmījī to sit at their respective places. Wherever Swamijī will stay, he will give blessings from there. So, on this Guru Pūrṇimā, you should not try to come to one place. This is my request, because you will always get the blessings of Gurujī. But sometimes, there comes a special situation. And at present, not only for Bharat, not only for Gurus, this is a time of crisis for all mankind. And during such times of crisis, we should remain healthy, and our devotees should also remain healthy. And not only the devotees, but we also should remain healthy. Sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ. Our Ved Bhagavān says, "Sabhī sukhī ho." Sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ. Sarve santu nirāmayāḥ. Sabhī log ārogya ko prāptha kare, sabhī log svasth rahe. Sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ, sarve santu nirāmayāḥ, sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu, sabhī log kalyāṇa ko prāptha ho jāye. So this is our message: Sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ, sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu, mā kaścid duḥkha bhāg bhavet. No one should be sad in this world. This is the message of our Sanātana Dharma, of our Vedas. That is why I would like that, for the coming Guru Pūrṇimā, Mahārāj Jī will be there, wherever he is. And even today, those of you who are sitting in a faraway country, we are seeing both of you here together. That is so. That day you will also have a darśan. So, what I said in detail about Guru Pūrṇimā was a coincidence. What kind of a coincidence was it? Mahāprabhujī said, I asked him that somewhere, one should rest in a sāttvik place, one should get sāttvik food, one should get sāttvik rest. So today a very beautiful event like this took place here. With me are two of our saints, one is Swami Satsāropānandjī and the other is Swami Śraddhānandjī. They have also come, and now from one place, from one Tīrtha, from Narbadā Tatt, we will go to Gaṅgā Tatt. Mahārāj Jī said that Gurujī has made us sit here. We are not going to do anything. We don’t have any power. We don’t have any capacity. Just like a stone of the Narmada is kept in a temple, and people start worshipping it. Similarly, Gurujī has made me sit in the ancient Siddha Pīṭh, where great, great... rich, rich... Maharaj Ji also visits there, from where I have come. Maharaj Ji has also not come there, but I think he will come sometime. There are many such places, and like that place belongs to Swamiji as well, and this place belongs to me as well, we all belong to each other, that is why I came here today as an Anāyāsa, and I was very happy. When I came here for the first time, there was very little work going on here. But with your efforts, with your cooperation, and the love for you, there is a lot of work going on here. Whether we live or not, these people who are working will always remain in Sanātana Dharma, and our Dharma will be saved. This will protect our Dharma. When we protect our Dharma, Dharma protects us. Similarly, through Swamiji and that Swamiji, how much respect he gives to his Gurus, how much respect he gives, how much he worships them, how much he prays for them. This is our tradition. So, I understand that we had come from very far. And Swamiji said that you speak. And this does not mean that we keep speaking a lot. Can you tell us about Kumbh Mela? Now, this happened on Guru Pūrṇimā. And here it is said that saints meet together. Which is called Mela. Mela means to meet. So when saints meet together on a special occasion, then it is called Kumbh Melā. All the saints of the world, great siddhas of the Himalayas, great sages, such great men come together, and we call it Kumbh Melā. In India, there are four Kumbhs: one in Prayagraj, one in Haridwar, one in Ujjain, and the fourth Kumbh Mela is held in Trambeveshwar and Nasik. It is a coincidence that the Kumbh Melā is being held in Haridwar in the eleventh year of this year. There is a calculation which is carried out by the Nakṣatra Brahmins. The Kumbh Mela is held according to the Kumbh Mela in which the Kumbh Mela is placed. This year, this time, in the 11th year only, Kumbh Parva is coming in Haridwar. And Kumbh Parva will come in 2021. And on this occasion, all of us saints, all of us saints get together and take Kumbh Snāna. And take Kumbh Snān. And in that Kumbh Snān, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvaras, like a king, like a king, like a king in earlier times, in the same way, like a king, by sitting in a palanquin, they take out their Śobhā Yātrā in a very grand manner, and they go for a bath. So, there are three baths. The first bath is of Sanyāsī, Mahāśivarātri. The second bath is of Amāvasyā. And the third bath is of Vaiśākhī. This time also, the first bath will be on Shivrātri. The second bath will be of Somotī Amāvasyā. And the third bath will be of Vaiśākhī on the 15th of April. But as I said, if by then everything is fine, if there is a solution for this virus, by then we would have been celebrating this Kumbh Melā like we used to do in the past. We would have been going there with great enthusiasm, we would have been dancing, we would have been taking the name of God very loudly. Now, what is God’s choice? What is His desire? That will be told in the coming time. So if the time goes on like this, then just as a symbol, there will be a Kumbh Melā, but we will take a bath there as a symbol. There may not be many devotees, but we pray to God, "O God, this is our great mountain, and on this mountain we are coming to worship you." That is why you make the whole world happy, and we can bathe in the river Gaṅgā with great love. And the great men who will come there, we can feed them, give them darśan, give them bhaṇḍāra. And all the people should see the Mahātmas, and they should also be happy; they should also get the benefit of the Pūrṇimā. This is how we praise the Lord. And once again, sometimes in life, such a time comes, and today is a very special time in my life as well. Swami ji and I have been sitting here for many years.
