He describes how Śrī Mahāprabhujī was showering the nectar on him, the nectar of jñāna, of knowledge, of wisdom. Prabhupāda said, "Now I am so happy because these waves are united with the ocean again." My Guru Dev came, and he brought the clouds of wisdom. There was no empty space between; there were heavy clouds, showering and showering, and I was drinking and drinking until I was completely satisfied and full. And Holī Gurujī says, "My Guru Dev, he is that Paras." He is that Paras which changes this piece of iron into gold with the words of Soham. But Gurū Dev liberated me and made my lack of my destiny complete. And the Holī Gurūjī says, if we are devoted to our Gurū Dev, then He will even protect us from the dead. So we are sitting in the yard of this beautiful castle. Our Bhakti Devī, she has been Viśvagurujī’s disciple for many, many years. She has studied and learned Bharatanatyam dance. She has danced all over the world, and now she is dedicated to the teaching of Bharatanatyam. She founded the Indian Dancing Academy in Vienna, where she is teaching new generations the wisdom and knowledge of Bharatanatyam dance. So we welcome and invite our Bhakti Devī. Welcome to our Bhakti Devī. A Sanskrit śloka to worship Lord Gaṇeśa. The highest cosmic intelligence is symbolized by Lord Gaṇeśa. Lord Gaṇeśa has got the head of an elephant. He is the son of Lord Śiva. He can remove obstacles. I bow before him. After this śloka, we will see the Sanskrit mantra to worship Lord Śiva. The mantra says Lord Śiva is like an ocean of mercy. His form is endless. He dwells in the temples, and He is in all hearts. Then we will see the Sanskrit prayer to Lord Śiva in the form of Śiva Liṅgam, which is the universal symbol of creation and the source of everything, the Liṅgāṣṭakam stotram. The light of millions of suns is within. The one who is worshipped by Brahmā, by Viṣṇu, and by all the devas. The one which liberates from troubles, from birth and death, and the one who destroyed the unjust Yajña of Prajāpati King Dakṣa. He humiliated the enormous pride. He conquered the immense power of the demon Rāvaṇa. I worship the Śiva Liṅgam, which is anointed by holy oils, decorated by flower garlands, and with the snake, the cobra. Gods, ṛṣis, asuras—all of them, they are worshipping him. I bow down before Śiva Liṅgam, which removes all kinds of troubles. I worship him with flowers. Whoever listens carefully to this mantra will gain the purification of heart and endless joy. It is from the book Amba Pañcaratna. The dance is from the book Amba Pañcaratna. The goddess Devī is the supreme power in the universe, which is symbolized by her mythical vāhana, the carrier, which is the lion. She is worshipped by Śiva Mahādeva, and by his son Kārtikeya. The saint, the destroyer of wicked kṣatriyas, Paraśurāma, he is always worshipping her. The poets celebrate her endless compassion and mercy, her infinite compassion and grace. Her pictures decorate the temples. Even the demon Hayagrīva, with the head of a horse, worships her in every moment. There are endless ways how to reach, how to gain the divine mercy of the Divine Mother. She fulfills, she grants the wishes of her devotees. In her other form, she destroys the demons, and she fills the whole universe with endless happiness. Her cosmic spouse is Lord Śiva Mahādeva, who drank the poison for the welfare of the planet, and his throat turned blue. The whole humankind is her own family. I worship, I bow down before the Divine Mother. The dancing is inspired by Mīrā’s bhajan. Mīrā dances with her anklets on. I am devoted and dedicated to the service of the Almighty. There are many ages, but they learned everything very nicely. This dance is coming from the very, very long ages. And it is not something like a joke, but it is the glories of gods and devīs, and of course the apsarās, and so there is the instrument, the rhythms, and that rhythm with the feet rhythm, same time with the hands movements and rhythm in the bodies. And then in that is the knowledge, words, and there are special instruments. And that was that time the goddesses, they were coming, appearing, and it was in Sanskrit language. It was great. This kind of dance exists only in South India. Nowhere else in the world. This is very, very great. It is spirituality. Yes, and if it is also spirituality, there is also a fight against the devils, to destroy the old devils. So it is science, and it is like one part of the Vedas. Only that one can learn who has the feeling in the heart, and then there is no joke, but it is like you are somewhere in another part of the world. And so many, there are many, many of our Bhakti Devī’s students. They are learning very much, and they are also dancing, so it’s great. And we have the opportunity, so if you have five people or ten people in any countries or distance somewhere, 100–200 km, so I think... I think Bhakti Devījī can come for two days, and after two weeks, again she comes. It’s like we have yoga classes everywhere, so we can connect with yoga in daily life. And this is in that, this dance is which was divine for God, Śiva, Brahmā, Gaṇeśa, Mīrābāī, etc. This dance is divine because it is to Śiva, to God, to Gaṇeśa, to peace, etc.
