Yoga in Daily Life around the world

The global practice of Yoga in Daily Life integrates physical techniques with spiritual knowledge from a genuine lineage. Many adopt the practice, sometimes without formal rights, yet the focus remains on the spiritual benefits. Various schools exist worldwide, but consistency within the true path yields strength, knowledge, and blessing. Authentic yoga extends beyond the physical, requiring devotion and a pure heart, avoiding narrow pursuits. True Tantra is defined as expanding consciousness to achieve liberation and oneness, not base instincts. Stay devoted to the pure path, as external fluctuations are natural; the core teachings provide lasting light.

"‘tan’ means expand, and ‘tra’ means liberate. Extend your consciousness and knowledge and come into the Cosmic Self."

"People who stay with Yoga in Daily Life acquire techniques that are very strong; there is knowledge, there is blessing, and this is very important."

Śabdhas Prabhusaraṇam Parāyaṇam Om Namaḥ Śrī Prabhudeeparāyaṇam Om Namaḥ Śrī Prabhudeeparāyaṇam Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavānakī. Good morning, all our dear sisters, brothers, and of course all our children. It is a blessing of Mahāprabhujī, and you are the lucky ones that we are having good sunlight. We were thinking it would rain all week, but we were lucky. There are our practices of Yoga in Daily Life. Many people in many, many countries around the world are practitioners and teachers. Our dear Sādhvī Dayāmātā from Canada, Vancouver—she is originally from China—speaks Chinese and often travels to different cities in China. She has many Yoga in Daily Life practitioners there, and there are many yoga schools. Matajī said they like our yoga and life techniques very much, and what they like even more is the spiritual aspect. According to Mahāprabhujī’s holy book about the hidden powers in humans and other scriptures, many have adopted that. But one thing about China is that copyright does not matter to them. For example, if you have a copyright for a nice dress, a nice color, they will put just one little orange line on it and say, "Our Yoga in Daily Life is this one, not that yoga." Who asked them? Nobody asked. If someone says something, they don’t care. So many people have started Yoga in Daily Life without any right. They have written books in Chinese. Daya Mata said it is okay; the good thing is that you are practicing Yoga in Daily Life and making prayers to Mahāprabhujī, etc. This is also the case in many other cities and countries: Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and many others. I am talking about this now because through our Swamiji television—which is free, we are not asking for money or making any profit, making it the only free television channel in the whole world—there are listeners around the world. We once talked about problems with disease, and in many, many countries, there are poor people with no money. Of course, the whole world was helping. This time, we also asked our Yoga in Daily Life community through Swamiji television, and really, many, many people helped within one, two, or three days, and we gave them further support. We also have centers in that part of the world called America. America is not only the United States; it is like the European Union—a union, but the continent is America. So there is also our Yoga in Daily Life in many, many countries there, and in many countries in Africa as well. You people, our European Bhaktas, have very good Yoga in Daily Life teachers, and many, many people like it. This kind of yoga is not only for the physical body; it is from such a master, our guru paramparā. Everyone was searching for that. Of course, there are many, many masters with spiritual lineages. But the thing is, we have a system. Many people say, "No, always the same," and go somewhere else, saying this is very good and that is very good, but then they come back again. That is why our people of Yoga in Daily Life practice have many of those kinds of techniques, knowledge, and blessings. That is a very, very powerful thing. People who stay with Yoga in Daily Life acquire techniques that are very strong; there is knowledge, there is blessing, and this is very important. Now, some people from India, mostly, try to come into the whole world with yoga. For a few years—two, three, four years—they tried to bring all yoga to the whole world. But they are not that kind of yogī, and they could not give something best from India to Europe. They did not succeed precisely because it was not done by people who were yogīs. Around the world, there are many different yoga schools that are very good and very advanced spiritually. When people try to bring yoga to Europe, they have lost it; again, they missed it. They go to practice yoga when, for example, our Prime Minister—a great person—goes somewhere, and thousands come. But the next day, they don’t do anything. They only want photos with Modījī. But I will say that there is Ramdev, and he really made yoga spread throughout all of India and outside. But he has no such thing that he can bring to Europe. Of course, he also has many things about nourishment—what we call organic—and he gives a lot of very good, different nourishment. They are also bringing Ayurvedic medicine. That is very… Many people are… how to say? They don’t like it. But he said, "Why not? When you are not good." Rāmadēva said, "Yes, please, spread the negative movement for me so that more people will come to know me." Come and see any kind of his medicine and see if it is good or bad. Jealousy is always there. But I guess he brought yoga very much. Anywhere he goes, whether to one city or anywhere, thousands of people will come. There are a few more who are doing really well. Others are more commercial. But for a guru, and sādhanās, like Haṭha Yoga or Yoga in Daily Life, there are always solid people. But now what is happening is that our own yoga teachers have run away in various directions and do not learn this one path. For example, in China, they asked me. I said, "I will see, I will see." There is a problem, sorry to say: eating. There are no vegetables, very rare. But there is something, and I had no time. Also, your neighboring country asked many times, "I should come, I should come," but I couldn’t come there—not in India, in Russia. Many, many ask, "Please come." But somehow our people from here did not let me go, because then he would be playing in Russia. But they are good people, very good. So I think we should go now to Russia. They are coming to us and asking, "Please come to them." Okay, let’s come to the real part again. So we are all here, and all who are listening, all of our Yoga in Daily Life, we shall all try to see again and bring together our real Yoga in Daily Life practice, and also the spiritual teachings, meditations, bhakti, and so on. People forget that, or they did not get this knowledge. So our people in other countries do not do it. A few years ago, I saw in one of our schools in Australia—they printed a lot of books, but only when I go do they bring them out. Otherwise, all books are underground. So sometimes people are searching differently. We had this nice book, Hidden Powers in Humans, Chakras, and what we call these other books. But they said, "No, we want to have something called Tantra." It is hidden powers, it is our chakras, and it is the tantra. But they are all searching Tantra naked. In the Tantra, there is no… what people are making some books now, it is not the truth. What is written about Tantra now is not true at all. If you look at the teachings of many ṛṣis, the teachings of Buddha, and the teachings of the Jainists… But people printed books, so it is not necessary to make such a book. In your husband, wife, in your room, in your own house, you have already written it. Why are you running? Many people make such things; this is not real tantra. There was a lecture, and one yogī or sādhu, Swāmījī, very spiritual, was asked about the Tantras. "What is that tantra? Do you know the tantra?" He said, "Yes, I am a Tantric. I came to a very high consciousness through the Tantra." Everybody said, "And how is that?" He said, "Yes, that is the greatest. But tomorrow I will tell you. Are there any more questions? No, any questions. Please, only Tantra." That was in Ukraine, and the Master is some… I don’t want to tell anyone’s name. That Master is a very pure, good one. So, what is the destination of Tantra? He said, "Yes, ’tan’ means expand, and ’tra’ means liberate." So extend your consciousness and knowledge and come into the Cosmic Self. This definition of Tantra is Tan and Tra. Expand, expand, expand as far as you can into this space, above this earth and to all the universe. You will, at that time, completely extend it. It means you will become one with all in that. That’s called Parabrahma. So this is expand; it means don’t be the narrow person, don’t think that I am the best, this is not the best, only I want to have this, that. We are very narrow-minded, and you are searching this and there and there. That is not. Open your heart. Open your eyes. Open your consciousness. And feel your whole feelings with goodness, peace, harmony, understanding. That is the tantra. The other is not a tantra. So, if you are talking only about, let’s say, sex, then you can go to any animals also. And the animals, they are also fighting. When there is one lion and a second lion also comes, how will they fight? You can’t imagine. All the monkeys—the monkeys will kill the male immediately when the baby is born. Sometimes, one monkey mother, when she gets a baby, tries to expect it to go away. She hides herself with her child somewhere until he becomes strong, and then she comes back again with her child. But that is so strong, young, and then he fights with another monkey, bites him and kills him, so he runs away. Yes, and so you see sometimes alone one male monkey; he doesn’t know where to go now, and he cannot go towards the whole group of the young monkeys again. That is also like this—fighting this, that, everything. That’s it. But that we don’t want. We have, you have the wife and good. Hari Om. But extend your heart, your knowledge, everything, and that Guru Kṛpā, he gave a lot. So there are so many books written, many thousands of pages, thousands and thousands of pages. But there is nothing like that which, in European bookstores, you get like this book called "The This," but nothing of what is written here in Europe in those books will you find. So therefore, we shall go to the pure path, and that pure path is what we have: Yoga in Daily Life. We had a very nice path of Swami Sivananda in Rishikesh. He had many good disciples, but of course, some went out of the countries. Sivanandajī said, "Don’t go." He sent only one disciple. Then, one second disciple was very nice with Nāda yoga. Therefore, Nādanandajī had beautiful Nāda sound. He put one coin on his head and was making a sound—I don’t know which—but somehow the whole coin was moving like this. He was very good, a very good singer and everything, very good. So, there are many. You can see one thing: this is a tree, and it comes, thousands or millions, but many leaves or the flowers go down, then comes. Some fruits, but all thousands, and they all will fall down again. So from the flowers till the fruits will arrive, it’s only 15%. Similarly, all your disciples, and this will be only that percent. But again, they will turn back to the right path because they know that my original, my Gurudev, that is the right one. So there are many yogīs, no doubt, and they are in the whole world now. They were, they are, and they will be. And so our Yoga in Daily Life is great. I was away for about seven months, and you know how all our bhaktas, disciples, and yoga teachers were waiting for when he would come. I also was waiting very much, but you know, when we have the devotion—we can say devotion or love—this is as far as you go, that you have feelings. So when you feel someone who is at a distance, then you get more knowledge. We remember our Gurudev thousands of kilometers away, but there are more pure feelings and prayers, etc. So as far as we go, that we must have: the devotion. Tým väčšiu oddanosť cítime forever and ever and ever. You know that Swāmī Kṛiyā, Yogananda, and Yoganandajī’s paramparā is very great, and he went to the West. His Gurujī said, "Okay, you can go." Some people have jealousy, and that we have also. As long as you have jealousy, you will not be successful. So, that Swami went to America and was very good at speaking, teaching, etc. Sometimes he was taking trousers and this kind of jacket and so on. Sometimes no hair, like from the barber. And people were a little bit not thinking good. So someone told his guru, "Swami, there is not good, and please don’t talk to him about anything, or bring it here." So his Gurujī sent a letter—always his letter, that this master, what? Yukteswar and his Yukteswarjī were writing a letter, and he always wrote, "There is one word, something in my heart." You know that? He said something? I cannot understand what you are talking about. Better you should not talk. You know that? Yeah, that is one word: heart, I said. So it’s something, one word he said, because that letter is there. I have. Anyhow, so he wrote that letter and then said, "This and this have taught this," and so, not very much, but he wrote a few words. So maybe he wrote, "You should come back," while he used to come many times to Gurujī. He was also with Gandhījī, eating beside Gandhiji. Anyhow, he wrote a letter to his Gurujī with a bhajan or the poet. And how is that? You know what it was? It is said the disciples will come and the disciples will go. But my Lord, I will be Thine. So all come to my ashram, and they will go. They will come and they will go, but my Lord, I will be Thine. When I go far, far beyond the stars, but I will be Thine, O my Lord. Even I will die. Look into my eyes, and then, even I will die. Look into my eyes, that I will be dying, so that is that love, distance that love, so that bhakti, that bhakti that is not attachment but oneness, that you know thy heart. Let people tell what they are saying. They will die. They will kill. Themselves they will kill, but I will be there dying, so that our Yoga in Daily Life people, very, very many, many they are, very humble and devoted. And you know that in our countries and wherever I am, maybe they are few, but their heart is pure. And here, this is here, you are doing work, not for me, but for thyself, for your heart. And sometimes there are cruel people, and they talk good and bad. So we will take the bad and give them good. So good. I give them, and they give me bad. That’s good. Why? Why should I give you that? Because there is light in Mahāprabhujī. So we are all light, and the others are the dark. But the dark cannot come near to the light. So you should write or say, "Yes, my dear, darkness can never come to the light." And so we are all, that kind of darkness we were, but now we are in Mahāprabhujī’s light. And that holy Gurujī said, told him: "Prakāśa Pūñja Amṛta Keśa Dīpa Harī Mahā Prakāśa Pūñja Amṛta Keśa Sāre Viśvame Gūñjarā Ye Sāre Viśvame Prabhu Kī Amarā Kahānī." Prakāśa Pūjā Amṛta Ke Sāgara Śrī Dīpa Hari Mahādhani. Prakāśa Pūjā Amṛta Ke Sāgara Śrī Dīpa Hari Mahādhani sāre viśvame gūnja rahī hai, sāre viśvame gūnja rahī hai, prabhu kī amar kahānī. So, it is said. Mahāprabhujī himself also made the bhajan. So even Mahāprabhujī said, "What can I give?" And that is when some bhaktas were somewhere and did not come one day or so. So what Holī Gurujī said this bhajan, you know? So what is that bhajan? Yes. So sing this bhajan. So who said? Mahāprabhujī said that when my bhaktas are not here, I am so, I have tears in my eyes. Mahāprabhujī said, and when Gurudev doesn’t come, we are also more than only the tears. If the Buddha doesn’t come, we will be even sadder. Sattguru, satsaṅgī, yolu ave sa jave. Sattguru, satsaṅgī, yolu ave. Sattguru, satsaṅgī, yolu. Sāgarasī pāumāṅgāho yathārasi Amitabhundakunāpārasāve. Śrī Sattva Guru Sattva Saṅghīyāryo lū’āve. Sattva Guru Sattva Saṅghīyāryo lū’āve. Śrī Sattva Guru Sattva Saṅgīyāryolu āve. Bihunitha Rattata Papeya, Bihunitha Rattata Papeya. Pariyo Nirvane Nahi Bhave, Pariyo Nirvane Nahi Bhave. Śrī Sattva Guru Sattva Saṅghī, Aryolu Āve. Śrī Dīpakāhi Nītha Hotā Jahā Sattasam Bharabāghī Sohijana Pāve, Bharabāghī Sohijana Pāve. Śrī Sattaguru Sattasaṅghī Āryolu Āve, Satguru Sat Saṅghīyārī Olu Āve, Olu Āve, Sanena Bhara Jāve, Satguru Sat Saṅghīyārī Olu Āve. Satguru Satsaṅghīyārī Olu Āve Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī. So sometimes we call that every household our office. Every day we are cleaning the dust, so also when we are all so many practicing Yoga in Daily Life around the world, and you know that. Barikatu Pranam, and we will again, how do you call it, we will clear time again. So, all my dear those who are in different parts of the world who are listening, or it will be listening in other countries where there is still night, so we will give you 24 hours or 2 days more to send that, our body, Khāṭū Praṇām. Please send it to our office here in Strilky, in the Czech Republic, and we will make corrections with you on how you are doing and how some others are doing. So, who knows about where they can send it? It should be in the ashram in Strelka office. And please tell the number or this email address through this now. Who knows them? Okay, she knows. So it’s a seminar at yoga.cz. You come. Vidyā, come. So Vidyā, you can tell. Very clear, okay? Not quickly. You can send the videos or the Swamiji’s request on email: seminar-yoga.cz. So, we are announced. Barikhatu is the seat of our Mahāprabhujī. There is a mountain and a beautiful place. It is close to the incarnation of Mahāprabhujī, and he had lived more in the village Katu. There is a beautiful banyan tree, and also one somewhere outside of the forest at the video city, where mostly he lived with Mahāprabhujī and Holy Gurujī. All the best, bless you on Mahāprabhujī’s name. Jahna mām, Mahāprabhujī ho menom. Om Śānti.
