Live Balanced Life

We are in a time of global change requiring balance and discernment. The lunar cycle moves from darkness to light, affecting all nature. This is Kali Yuga, an age of division where hidden negativity surfaces. All previous ages contained both good and bad. People often claim their path is the only good one, like children arguing. The current era sees increasing negativity across the world, manifesting as conflict and disease. This signals a necessary purification and the rising influence of Śiva, the balancing power born from the elements. Spiritual practice, like yoga or chanting, cultivates inner balance amidst external turmoil.

"True holy saints do not label things as simply bad or good."

"In my position, I will take this vaccine. But it is your choice."

Ārādhi Bhagavān Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī kī jaya. Devadhī Dev Deveśvar Bhagavān Śrīdev Purījī Mahādev kī jai. Satguru Swāmī Madhavānjī Bhagavān kī jai. Satya Sanātana Dharma kī jai. Sabṛṣi Muni Santau kī jai. Dear sisters, brothers, Yoga in Daily Life practitioners, students, teachers, and Guru Kṛpā. It is a beautiful day. Every day is a good day. Day by day, we are all learning more and more good things. Yoga in Daily Life, around the whole world, is shared through Swāmījī Television, which is dedicated only to yoga and good things, offered freely to all. We have the instruments to share this, but these instruments must be acquired, maintained, and sometimes repaired. Similarly, when there is a disaster anywhere in the world, we help by sending aid. Our work is for all—yogīs, practitioners, schools, ashrams—it does not matter which tradition; for us, all is oneness. We extend this help and respect not only through yoga but to all people and even to other beings, like bees. This year is now coming to a close. December is a beautiful month. People are happy; in some places, they enjoy the winter snow and cold, while in others, like Australia and New Zealand, they enjoy warm, hot days and swimming in the ocean. When I speak, I must balance these perspectives—the cold here, the heat there. As someone who travels the world with Yoga in Daily Life, I must balance times, temperatures, and also the different cultures and spiritual religions everywhere. We must learn to balance all things. I wished to speak about something today. Yesterday was the dark night, the new moon (Amāvasyā). Today is the first lunar day. We move from darkness to light. This cycle is natural. The moon's phases affect our bodies, human and animal, and all of nature. On the full moon, many people and animals cannot sleep; its influence is strong. I know of people who, on such nights, feel restless, even walking on rooftops. Some feel depressed or get headaches. The atmosphere of the entire globe is in motion. For those sincerely practicing yoga, it leads to a very good and balanced life. Others find balance in singing bhajans, spiritual songs, or cultural knowledge like dance. We are in the age known as Kali Yuga, following Satya Yuga, Tretā Yuga, and Dvāpara Yuga. These ages make a great difference. In our current time, there are many divisions. It is said the yugas are changing again. Each yuga contains both positive and negative, the good and the bad, what we might call the divine and the demonic. As humans sitting together, we cannot know what is in another's mind. Some feelings are hidden inside; a person may seem normal, but when they react or speak, we see who they truly are, and negativity can surface quickly. Many people are spiritual, religious, or non-religious, yet they are very good. It is said that those with certain reactions in their body think, "I am the best and good," while others say, "I am good, not bad." How do we master this? In the Holy Book of Jesus, it is said: if someone strikes you on one cheek, offer the other also. True holy saints do not label things as simply bad or good. People follow different gurus or gods outwardly, but among themselves, they fight, saying, "My God is good," "My person is good." We must follow very carefully. From Satya Yuga onward, through Tretā Yuga, many gods and religions arose, all good, with no problem. But now, negativity increases. Who knows who is good? Both sides claim, "I am good," like children fighting, each saying, "My mother is good." This must be purified again. In the world's Jyotiṣa (astrology), there are two systems: one following the moon and the other only the sun. The balanced and exact path is with the moon. It is said that every third year, there is an extra month or one less, due to the interplay of solar and lunar cycles, like two new moons in a month. This causes change. Now, in this yuga, across the whole globe, even over the oceans, many negative things happen. The oceans face great problems with waves and more. In the very beginning, there was Śiva. Śiva had no father and no mother. Śiva emerged from the five elements: earth, water, air, fire, and space. Śiva then produced from his own being, half male and half female. The male principle has more power to attack, while the female principle has more feeling and can also attack toward the male. Both come together; otherwise, nothing would happen. Nature develops these feelings within us. They are very difficult to control, but as one progresses spiritually, such desires fall away. Next time, I will tell you about a beautiful book. We will see that one day. Now, a dark, negative time is coming. It must change again, and no one can do this—not Rāma, nor Kṛṣṇa, nor Jesus, nor anyone. It must return to the power of Śiva. We do not know if it will manifest in this country or that. We will continue this, but today someone gave me a question, and it is very important. When questions are asked, I must answer. For example, when your wife becomes pregnant, from the first day she thinks about it, but she does not yet know if it will be a girl or a boy. The wish is for everything to be good and the best, but this does not depend on any one person. Someone gave me this one question—a question for the whole world. You know that this past year, everything has been changing very quickly. There is less positive and more negative. It can manifest as war, disease, earthquakes, fighting, etc. This means Śiva has to arise. I am not saying this from my own side alone; I am thinking of the whole world. I respect all people from all countries. I am not a master; I am not so high. I only share what I know, and I respect all my friends around the world. There are many earthquakes, many problems on the ocean. People are preparing problems, making problems, wars. Wars are at the door in many countries. I pray to God, I pray to Mahāprabhujī, Devpurījī, Jalakpurījī: please, no war, no killing of anyone. Moli Mahāprabhujī, Devpurījī, ne vo jñāne, nekje, prosim. But soldiers are already prepared at borders. In the midst of this came Corona. Many ask: Why? From where? We do not know the origin of these corona infections. Every country is trying its best to protect its people. I think deeply, and you also, my dears: Why does this disease affect primarily humans? Some say maybe cats or others can be affected—I do not know for sure. But we know it spread quickly, across oceans and through the air, attacking humans. Thousands, millions have died, and waves of it return. Many scientists work very hard. All governments and politicians strive to protect their people, and neighbors help each other. So many have died in every country. Today, a question came to me from Slovenia. Our translator is from Slovenia; he has more knowledge of his village, city, and country than I do. It depends on which country I am addressing, including my own, India. People also ask me, "Swāmījī, what to do?" I think you should know that all ministers, all countries, are doing their best for their people. Many scientists from around the world have worked hard for many months to develop medicines. The question put to me is: What is your opinion about vaccination for coronavirus? Should we take it or not? I am not a scientist, not a doctor, and not a politician. I am a yogī, and I work to protect people, not only from corona but from many things. Yoga in Daily Life around the world has protected many people, though some, in large gatherings, were affected. It is said for humans that all should lean towards a vegan lifestyle. This mega-vegan trend comes from vegetarianism. In my observation, about 90 to 98 percent of my disciples in Yoga in Daily Life do not take meat, eggs, or drugs, and they were not affected by corona. But I will not go further. I will say: In my position, I will take this vaccine. But it is your choice. Your government is offering it for you. If you say no, it is your choice. Around the whole world, humans are very depressed, and many have died. So, I pray today for the whole world, for all humans: Please, God, bless us and make us healthy again. Whether we take medicine or not, one day we will die. But in this situation, from my side, I will take it. For you, I cannot say. You should decide for yourself, my dear. I am thinking, and I know why this happened. This is the yuga for Bhagavān Śiva. In which form Śiva will come, we do not know. It could be anywhere, in any country, in any form. Satya Yuga is coming; it is not here yet but very close. That is why there are so many problems. Then Śiva will cleanse everything. You may call God Śiva, or you may have another God. Look up to Śiva, for that power will come. Many people believe in their gods, believing only in that one. But that is just a name. The living God is everywhere. Many people have received the vaccine, but some do not want it. That is okay. One says, "My God is this." Another says, "No, my God is that." Do not speak of "my" God and "your" God. We have only that one God, and that is the power of Śiva. Śiva is very humble. Śiva balances all negatives and keeps the peace. This God, Śiva, is very humble and equal to both sides, both negative and positive. Therefore, we should every day chant the mantra "Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya." Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya! Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya! Śivarī! So every day we repeat the mantra: Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya! Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya! Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya, Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya... OṂ NAMAŚIVĀYA. OṂ NAMAŚIVĀYA... Morning and anytime, whenever, verbally or mentally, always OṂ NAMAŚIVĀYA, NAMAŚIVĀYA, NAMAŚIVĀYA. This is the time of Śiva. So, my dear one who put the question from Slovenia regarding this vaccine—should we take it or not?—convey to your countries what is best. I wish you all the best. I pray that no one will die from this vaccine or any other disease, and I pray there will be no war. I wish you all the best, and I pray that no one will die. Because of this and that, may there be no war. Oṁ Namah Śivāya. Śrī Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī. Devpurījī Mahādev Kī. Satguru Swāmī Madhavān Jī Bhagavān Kī. Alakpurījī Mahādev Kī. Namah Śivāya. Oṁ Namah Śivāya. Namah Śivāya, Namah Śivāya. Oṁ Namah Śivāya, Har Har Bholē, Namah Śivāya. Oṁ Śāntiḥ, Śāntiḥ, Śāntiḥ.
