6th Mahasamadhi anniversary of Holy Guruji

The human birth is a supreme fortune granted for spiritual practice. A mantra is the power to control invisible forces. Through prescribed discipline alone is perfection attained, liberating the consciousness from karma. The individual self is a mixture of spirit and non-spirit, bound by desires and actions. Systematic spiritual practice, built step by step, leads to the highest stage. The proof of devotion is in the final utterance. The Guru is the creator, preserver, and liberator—the very embodiment of the Supreme. Great souls merge with the omnipresent Brahman. True attainment comes through spiritual feeling. The world's greatest need is peace, cultivated through love and righteous conduct in every relationship. Liberation is found at the Guru's feet.

"Only through vidhi does one attain siddhi."

"Gurur Brahmā... Gurur Sākṣāt Parabrahma."

Floating on the waves of śama, our śama sometimes experiences darkness, sometimes light, sometimes happiness, and sometimes sorrow as it moves along. By the supreme grace of Paramāpita Paramātmā and Gurudev, we have received the human body; it is a great fortune to have attained the human form. We are truly fortunate to have been granted this human body, so let us engage in yoga, mantra, and sādhana. A mantra is a power that controls invisible forces. It may be liquid, but that is the place of liquid; it is not visible. I have not seen it, nor does it appear. I have not stopped the vehicle, but I have observed it. However, it is not visible; it is invisible. But the power of the mantra is such that it controls those invisible elements and invisible forces. Nothing, it is better than nothing, but for one who wants to shape human life and achieve something, only through vidhi does one attain siddhi, and if that vidhi is not obtained, our work will not be complete. Just as nowadays, when a lock comes, the vidhi is exactly as Gurudev has taught; it is through that vidhi alone that the heart... The lock can be opened; the jīva can be freed from the bondage of karma. Then this consciousness can directly experience the union of ātman and paramātmā. The jīva is not the ātman; the jīva is a mixture of ātman and anātman. The jīva is made up of karma, made up of desires. Therefore, by practicing the five types of viddhivat mantra sādhanā, one’s work can be accomplished. Ajapā is the final stage, but if we start from the first stage, we will reach the fifth stage. Without laying the foundation, without building the first floor, without building the second or third floor, without building the fourth floor, the fifth floor will not be built. To reach that fifth floor, there are four mantra practices that we must certainly perform. In the end, what was the feeling in the human mind? That feeling becomes manifest. People say... Gandhījī, whether one believes in Bhagavān or not, is a different matter altogether. What is the proof of this? The proof is that when Gandhījī was shot, what word came out from his mouth? No one else could utter it except him—He said, "He Rām." Who else could say that? "O Arāmī, O dūṣṭa, O pāpī"—what is that in Marwār? Keep doing it, keep doing it. Hey children, send them up there, but how will they climb up from there? There is no space in the stomach. There, send them, son, send them there. If they die, so be it. Today, satsang is right there. Do the immense service below. Keep calling, son, son, from where will the feeling arise? But if he practices that, then throughout life... Now it is time for ārtī. Gandhījī said that I can fast physically, but not mentally. My prayer itself is my strength, my mental power. What I receive through prayer is like the bread I eat. If one does not attain a position by taking money, then one should certainly pray to Gurudev at home during sandhyā time. That is why it is said: Gurur Brahmā, He is the creator; Gurur Viṣṇu, He is the protector; Gurur Devo Maheśvaraḥ, He is the giver of liberation; Gurur Sākṣāt Parabrahma, He Himself is the Supreme Brahman. Tasmai Śrī Gurave Namaḥ. Pradān sāb, today no bhajan was sung, only silence prevailed. The hope and the silence, the moments passed quietly like waves in the ocean. Leaving behind the noise, the hope remains. In satsang, we speak of those who do not sleep, those who are like the serpent. For them, today is a day of worship—this Gurudev, the emperor of dharma, Svāmījī Mādhvānand Purījī. The glory of Gurudev is that great souls become Brahmalīn; they do not reside in heaven. Great peaceful souls become Brahmalīn, and Brahman is omnipresent. Brahman does not dwell in one place; it is omniscient and omnipresent. Those who become Brahmalīn are everywhere; they are present in all places. Today is the day when our revered Gurudev left this gross body and became one with the Brahman form. Now we will pray that the Gurudev, in both His saguṇa and nirguṇa forms and His radiant light, remains eternally undivided within us. In feeling, it is like millet; in essence, it is like a sack of ten thousand rupees. If you sell two thousand sacks, then the sacks are counted as two thousand, but if you weigh one thousand, why divide the price? And brother, one sack is not worth a thousand rupees; sometimes you get less, and the world never lacks value. So there is a loss, and therefore the price should increase. The price is always at half. And everything is attained through bhāva. Now, please stand up; we will chant the ārtī of Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān and Sadguru Dev’s śrī charaṇ. In the morning, repeatedly bowing at the feet of our Sadgurudev, Śrī Mahiśvarānandajī Mahārāj Sāheb, I offer my salutations. Today, in this temple, all the material energies and all the distinguished persons who dwell in devotion, and in today’s ceremony, Viśviliṅgar Siṅghjī’s daughter and Lālījī and all the honored guests... I warmly welcome all the distinguished guests from around the world, and there are many such individuals here who belong to this category. Today, devotees from all over the world have gathered for this evening satsang. Gurudev, through his remote presence, is guiding devotees across the globe in a new direction. Gurudev is traveling throughout the entire world, the whole world. I have received the reward of the messenger of peace not only for the body but also for the mind, and not only for peace but as the greatest treasure of peace. Gurudev is spreading this fame throughout India and the entire world, honored with the highest respect and accompanied by all the esteemed dignitaries. The entire existence of the world, may it bless all devotees, and may the new couples live in the joy of love, may every home be filled with happiness and prosperity, and may every heart be at peace and tranquility. May the honest receive the red light, may the groceries become affordable, and may the entire country progress rapidly and flourish. May every slum be developed. In Delhi, the Rāṣṭrapati, in Nepal, Paśupati, in Andhra, Tirupati, in Gujarat, Sabarmati, in Maharashtra, Amravati, in Karnataka, Bhadravati, and the culture of Rajasthan, the farming of Punjab, the tea gardens of Assam, the kolkati in Tambak, and with a bowl of rice, bringing the family together daily to the temple and the public... Here in this land, people of all religions live together—Hindus and Muslims alike—like the inseparable daman and cholī. They dispel the sorrows of the suffering, like jholī and rak holī. Where the dhol and thālī resound, whether it is Moharram or Holī, where the dhol and thālī resound, it feels like Dīvālī every day. O Prabhu, now... May the basket never remain empty, may the Aravalli always be lush and green, may every heart be filled with happiness, and the district be Pālī. And as you all bow to Sadgurudev and Mādhvānjī, since they are the universal women’s saint, I am reciting a poem for them that people all over the world can understand. Life constantly gives us new inspiration; we feel as if Sadgurudev is holding our finger and walking with us, always guiding us on the path of righteousness. We offer our salutations to such Sadgurudev and to his personality, who is still the embodiment of Gurudev. Nowhere else is there such bliss as the one flowing like the Gaṅgā of satsang at the feet of your Śrī Sadgurudev. Gurudev, at your feet, one attains the fruit of all pilgrimage sites; all the pilgrimage fruits are found at your feet. And the fruit of pilgrimage is one—to remain pure, fulfilling the pure desires of the entire world. We have come here for this, and on this auspicious occasion of Gurudev, we pray that O Lord, the greatest need in the entire world at this present time is for peace. And we have Gurudev, who has given birth to such a noble son, who has made the name of India known throughout... I bow to such a mother who has illuminated the world; the greatest is indeed the mother. A question arose: who is the most powerful in this world? One said, "Money is the greatest, no brother, money is the greatest." Another said, "What is greater than Tulsī, what is greater than hell? Time is the greatest, time is powerful." Then the third said that karma itself is dharma, but the fourth said that if there is no feeling of dharma in karma, then karma is not valid; therefore, dharma is greater than karma. The fifth said that if this dharma is great, then if the earth mother did not exist, what would dharma be called? Therefore, the earth mother is the greatest of all. So the sixth said that if the Śeṣa Nāga did not exist, then this Earth Mother would have nothing to rest upon; therefore, the greatest is Śeṣa Nāga. 7. If Śeṣa Nāga is the greatest, then why is he coiled around the neck of Śaṅkara Bhagavān? Therefore, the greatest is Śaṅkara Bhagavān. 8. If Lord Śaṅkara is the greatest, then why is He standing on Mount Kailāsa? Therefore, the greatest is Mount Kailāsa. If Kailāsa is the greatest, then why is Anumāna’s finger considered superior? Therefore, Anumāna is the greatest. Then the eleventh said, if Anumāna is the greatest, why is he at the feet of Śrī Rāma? Therefore, Śrī Rāma is the greatest. Then the thirteenth said, if Rāma is the greatest, then he himself... Why have we studied at the feet of Guru Vasiṣṭha? Because Guru Vasiṣṭha is the greatest. Many learned souls are present here. I will not take much time so as to move this program forward. Since Gurudev is speaking on the mobile, the strings of Gurudev’s heart are directly connected to every devotee anyway. Then the second country, Russia, said that when they dug their land, they found a telephone wire, so this telephone is our invention. Then the third said that when they dug the land of our Bhārat, no wire or cable was found, therefore we honor and bow to this sacred land of Bhārat. The earth of this ashram is like sandalwood, a land of tapasyā; this village is where every woman is a deity’s idol, every child is Rāma, and love exists between father and son, husband and wife, brother and brother. Where there is love, where the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is harmonious, in humility and devotion, darkness must be dispelled. This is the secret of life, friends: to struggle, and yet keep smiling like Gurudev. Yes, thank you, many many thanks to Gurudev. It is now a quarter past four, so for one hour and ten minutes, you all continue singing bhajans. After that, at exactly eight o’clock, we will perform the ārtī and pūjā at Bābājī’s samādhi. So, from six or seven until eight, tea and water will be available—those who wish may take it. There is also some nāstā and tea. After nine, there will be nothing available in the kitchen until all the work is completed. So this means that the program will conclude by twelve o’clock, and between seven and eight, those who want to have tea can have tea, those who want to have breakfast can also have breakfast. And at exactly eight o’clock, Bābājī’s āratī will take place, and after that, the program here will continue at nine o’clock. You all sing the bhajan, and I will keep listening to the bhajan. I will also take a little rest. O Lord with eyes like a lamp, hail Bhagavān, you shall sing. Why is the sound off? Why is Bāb Jī coming? Why is Bāb Jī coming... why? Sanskrit and Hindi terms include, cakra, prāṇa, kuṇḍalinī, ātma, Brahman, saṃskāra, dharma, saṃskāra, tamas, bhajan, kīrtan, om, namaste, praṇam, saṃskāra, tamas, bhajan, kīrtan, om, namaste, praṇam, saṃskāra, tamas, Bhajan, kirtan, om, namaste, pranam, samskara, tamas, bhajan, kirtan, om, namaste, pranam, samskara, tamas, bhajan, kirtan, om, namaste—Parbatī will not come. Gaṇḍapur Khaitur Khaitur... Bliss arose, warmth spread, O saints, bliss arose, warmth spread. The clouds of knowledge have come, lightning has begun to flash. People are immersed in remembrance, it is raining in the realm of remembrance. Bliss has come, lightning has begun to flash. It is raining in the realm of remembrance. Enemies have been defeated, the burden is heavy, and the vegetables have been given. Now, if anyone comes to test the mother, the verses will be recited fully, brother. O saints, bliss has arisen in the home. I did not find the name of the wilted vegetable anywhere, O people of the world; all my possessions have scattered and fled in every direction. Whoever comes, I remember them equally. Three people’s heads shine brightly, and there is joy and bliss in the saints. It is warm, it is warm. I did not find the name of the wilted vegetable anywhere, O people of the world. What else should I do? I will open the treasury and give to many. Nivajī śāga nāma anapayojana śāsoriyo na kāī. Make your home in that house; that house will never perish. Make your home in that house; that house will never perish. Oh, through countless kalpas and yugās, that house without a foundation does not exist. That house never faces destruction in the three times. Oh, to build that house, what materials are needed? Oh, what? Truth is the supreme deity, the deity of deities; that truth surely grants the mother’s grace. Truth is the supreme deity; act with the wisdom of discrimination. Speak only truthful words; do so, and the true guru will become your sovereign. In that home where you reside, if you dwell there, madness will not arise. Even through countless kalpas and ages, madness does not come without it. Apply the ocean of love; cherish the branch of affection. With gentle conduct, like a shield, sit humbly like a sādhū. In that home where you reside, if you dwell there, madness will not arise. Even if countless kalpas and yugās pass, without the true Guru, there is no awakening. Be vigilant and watchful; what use is it if the poet’s words are true? When the true Guru is met, liberation occurs. Without the Guru, your home remains restless and disturbed. Without the Guru, even countless kalpas and yugās are spent in vain. Even the immortal are not free from enemies, the immortal too can perish in the darkness. Even the immortal are not free from enemies, the immortal too can perish in the darkness.... The immortal may perish, the Agam has stirred, the people’s divisions have been shattered. Brahman cannot be checked, beyond it lies a whirlpool. O land of the mad, stand beyond the word, I am the humble servant. Beyond the supreme, no one attains, O merciful Murshid Deen, the Agam has stirred. So what can I say, the subtle essence of the Ram word resonates there. In that land, I have found the supreme, the ultimate. No one else has attained it. Murshid Dīn Dayāl came, stirring the path. The marketplace of generosity was opened, and the immortal flame was lit. The immortal journey began at home. I am a humble servant, beyond all measure; may no one find me. O merciful Murshid, the giver of grace, you are beyond comprehension—please protect me. Thank you very much... Sister, by repeating it twice, somewhere the son gets ruined. I myself am confused in chanting the bhajan; there is some fault, it hangs all night... And let it be, the essence of the hymn was sung. Bāī Jī said, Bāī Jī spoke, Bāī Jī said, Bāī Jī stepped forward, eight lights, eight lights...
