The Path of the Pilot: Mastering the Inner Aeroplane

The inner pilot is the consciousness that must master the body and mind. The body is like an aeroplane carrying many elements; the pilot resides between the eyebrows, guiding concentration to the crown. Mastery requires flying alone, relying solely on inner instruments. The essential power lies in the spinal channel, the Vajranāḍī, which governs the entire system. Without controlling this, nothing is achieved. External practices and powers are demonstrated, like sitting in fire, but these are not the core. True yoga is not merely postures; it is becoming the Brahman through inner control. This path is not easy and demands unwavering inner strength.

"The pilot resides between our eyebrows. From there, concentration goes directly to the Sahasrāra Chakra."

"If the Vajranāḍī is not controlled, nothing else matters; whatever you do is nothing."

Hari Om, once more. Our day went very well. We had everything: relaxation, satsaṅg, prayers, and various exercises. Yet, we still have a long way to go to reach where we should be. I, too, am on the path, which is Gurujī’s path. And Gurudev has said, "Remain on the path." Consider an aeroplane. There is one pilot and many passengers. They are from different countries and speak different languages. Each wants different food; sometimes they complain that something is not good, or the water is not good. But the pilot takes off the aeroplane. He is focused on bringing all passengers comfortably to land in another country. He knows what is happening, yet he remains peaceful. When they all land safely, they are happy again. Similarly, our body is an aeroplane. It contains many things: physical, mental, spiritual, and so on. The pilot resides between our eyebrows. From there, concentration goes directly to the Sahasrāra Chakra. We know that when a pilot is learning, one day he is told, "Now take off alone by yourself, with no people, nothing. Only you." At that moment, his whole nervous system and thinking are tested. He thinks, "At least I had my co-pilot," but now he is alone. They put on a blindfold; he cannot see anything. Yet, like a telephone, everything is on his instrument panel. That plane must land exactly on time and within a meter of the designated spot. Then they say, "Yes, this is a perfect pilot." We are all here, from the toes and toenails to the whole body and even the hair. Sometimes, when something shocking happens, we say our hair stands on end. Then we are not perfect pilots. We are all great yogīs here. We have learned much yoga and belong to many guru-paramparās. But I cannot name anyone; you should know yourself. Will you take care? Can you take off alone? Sometimes, even the pilot needs to use the toilet. So we must learn: how many systems are in our body and heart? It is like this. Sometimes it is very hard; sometimes it is like nothing. Sometimes our heart is in different situations. We are human. We came from our mother’s body, and now we are here. But are we that? What is the human? Am I controlled? Are we controlling ourselves? If we have no control over ourselves, how will we proceed to the cosmic? I speak only from my feelings. When I talk to myself, I am not speaking about anyone else; you are greater and stronger than I am. Suddenly, something happens—a tiger comes. "Will you come, Swāmījī? Swāmījī, come here?" No, we all run away. Or a snake appears. There are many such things, and we are very much "out"—out of our body. So we must learn to be strong. Yesterday’s or the day before yesterday’s lecture was about that path. We do meditation, exercise, āsana, prāṇāyāma, and it continues until 11 o'clock. How many are the 11 points of the kuṇḍalinī? We bring all these parts to that point... We want to discuss chakras, how to practice with the chakras. There are some symbols, and the symbols have chakras. Yes, very good. Many things are written. Now we want to do it. I have been through these cakras and know the power of the cakras, but we cannot bring that power of all cakras into our mental power. Every chakra is very good, but we cannot control them. Why are these old chakras along the spinal column? Because that is the most powerful, the Vajranāḍī. If the Vajranāḍī is not controlled, nothing else matters; whatever you do is nothing. Consider a very beautiful tree with a thick trunk. Everything may fall; all leaves may fall when the wind comes. But the roots inside are the power, just like the spinal column. The Vajranāḍī is our entire nervous system and all our prāṇas in different centers. Many times it is sleeping, and when we go to sleep, we are gone. Yes? In very deep sleep, we do not know what we are talking about now, or this and that. If you were still thinking about this program and other nice things, you would not be asleep. It is like a doctor sitting here. We know how it is. The doctor says, "Only one little injection." Within a minute, half a minute, or two minutes, we would be completely in Brahmaloka. Many of you have had this experience. Have you had experiences? Please, hands up. You don’t know. Yes, because she still has to do techniques. She can do, but not she. Hang on. I was in another country, east there, and there was something—a little issue. I was very powerful, very powerful... very powerful, very powerful. They gave an injection, like a sleeping one. They said, "Okay, we will give you the injection, Swāmījī, and it will be okay." I said, "Yes." I was in deep sleep, and I was talking inside, "Yes, doctor, it was good." Yes, I am truth. Perhaps you have also experienced this. They can open the stomach or do other procedures. We do not know anything; we said yes. That is also a science, a good science. In India, there was a yogic practice. For many days, what was it? They could even open the head—not a baba, no, no. They said they had instruments; they could part our hair in two. Yes, we have this in books and everything. I do not know how it is, but I will show you. It is written even now. But how did they do it? Some kind of tree or something, yes? From that, we have brought it here to Siddhartha. I experienced it. I slept, then it was two or three times because the doctor said, "Okay, we will only need help, no problem." I said, "No, no... let me sleep and then do." It means Jīva. The jīvā is feeling so much. It is feeling very much. It is only that soul, Jīva. And Jīva is like this. Coming to the heart, the heart beats more. Then we can say, "Yes, I am perfect," or not. You know that our Mahāprabhujī had issues with his eyes and needed an operation. They said that if they gave some... Mahāprabhujī said, "No, no, don’t give me anything; no need." How long will it take? They said about ten minutes for compression in Mahāprabhujī’s eye. There is even a picture of Mahāprabhujī, Holī Gurujī, and all that. Holī Gurujī brought Mahāprabhujī for this eye injection. Mahāprabhujī said, "Okay, go ahead." The doctor’s hand was like this, you know. Mahāprabhujī said once more, "You are afraid. The one who should be afraid is me, so go ahead." Just four months, or four days, or minutes, or times... It took about forty minutes. Afterward, when they said everything was good, Gurujī said, "Okay, okay, all is good." They said, "Yes, Mahāprabhujī." But Mahāprabhujī said, "It was only 14 minutes, but it took so long." They said, "Gurujī, it took time; why did you not tell me before?" But Mahāprabhujī did not feel any pain, movement, or anything. He was relaxed. Another person I know, our disciple in Hungary, Kṛṣṇānanda, had a little operation—little things. Also, at the dentist, they took out this and that. Only Kṛṣṇānanda said, "Okay, no problem, do it, go ahead." Yes, that was our Kṛṣṇānanda. So, when the soul, the Jīva, has gone out, then we can cut anything. Or when the doctor gives some injections, it is like this. Therefore, how we are sitting here is not possible; it is not easy. It requires inner power. If there is something, we are playing like children. Sometimes children play very well; sometimes they cry and so on. So, we have to bring up the Kuṇḍalinī Śakti. Otherwise, that energy goes down, and the other part is gone. It is like a very big cobra. When it bites, the effect is only there, not in its other body. So the brain inside and the ātmā also have a heart. Look, for example, at a big, long cobra. Another one, what is big? A python, yes? It can be two and a half times the length of a human body and very thick. They can swallow a human very quickly. They just turn, and with their body, all our bones are gone, and they swallow it. But such a big snake, very strong and thick, has only a small head. And this head pulls the whole body of the snake. The whole elephant has only one brain, and it moves everywhere. So, whatever the upper and lower parts of our body are—very good, healthy, peaceful—the injection or the point is from the brain, here. From there, it goes to the toes, the knees, anywhere. So, how to control this? It is not so easy for us, please. There are some people who sit in fire. Just now, I saw it on a telephone. He makes a fire, chants some mantras, and so many people sit around while it is burning. Then he goes in, legs up, for five minutes. Everybody says, "Oh my God, Mahārāj, Gurujī, Gurujī, Swāmījī, please come out, please come." And again, he comes out—even his hair is like this; he is making like this. Yes, so miracles or non-miracles? We have an ashram near Barikatu. There are very great people there, and they have had their ashram for many years; sādhus were there. Many people went, sat in samādhi, and died. Now, this happened two times in Kathu, and here we made them also. There are 10-15 people, and then there is a master, a guru, sitting while they sing some mantras. I do not know what they are speaking or what language—perhaps Hungarian or another. About two full trolleys of wood, so much wood from here to here, full. They make a fire, sing mantras, and all the wood is burned. Yes, I can bring you here. Do you want to see this? Oh, yes. When I call them, if they do not come, they will run to me. Yes, we can, no problem. So then they were going round and round the fire. Very few people were on the back side because it was very hot. First, it was close, and it was winter time. They turned their backs and were dancing. Their master, the guru, is sitting there, and one is making music. They are all going, and one person comes and touches the fire with his leg. One leg kicks or touches the fire from one side, then from the other side, and from that, he walks slowly to the other side. Another goes like this. They are going, and then they see fire. Oh, beautiful, yes, but big, yes? Again, fire in hand. It is there for nearly half a year, a month, hours, more, going like this. When the program was over, they took my legs, fire here and fire here, and go out. There are some people from different countries, or from near America? No, a big country—not America, Mexico. There are some people from Mexico. Yes, also. So it means it is a sādhanā, a mantra, and you have to control. Do what the Guru gave you. I can come; he is always telling, "Please, Swāmījī, bring all your bhaktas. I will bring them to my ashram and take you with me." We go with; we have become from... yes, between Kathu and Jodhpur, that is beautiful. Holī Gurujī was there many times, and they all respected Holī Gurujī very much. I said to H. Gurujī that I would eat bājrī chapātī. So Gurujī said, "Okay, the best one I will bring you." And I went to that ashram. So it was a good thing, and this was good, and now we do not know anymore. Therefore, it is not so easy that I will become that guru, or I will become this, or I will become that. These are very fine, but there are some power points. That is why, in our Hindi, Sanskrit, Hindi language, each letter has its own name. It is called... what is it called? That, um, the Nāgrik. Nāgrik, but yes, yes. It has another name also, coming from cosmic science. It is a name, and they have 20... no, 52 letters. We have the book and everything; she can tell us if we want to learn. She times, yes, and then, okay. We have to power and calm down. There are not chakras like this that go up here, and this, and oh, oh... that is not. These are stupid things. These are fine feelings of that: good, bad, or bad. So, yoga is not only postures and this. But then you become that which is called the yogīs, the Brahmans. The Brahmans, these are yoginīs, Brahmins. So I am searching for someone who will be like that. Yes, there are many; they are on the way. Yes, very good. So this was that work, you know. So, people of the world who need me, from there I spoke to them, and our powers. I said the women are more powerful than the men, but we said, relax. One day, when they cannot, then women will come. And they are so one, male and female. It is another story; I do not want to tell you because there was a woman in India. Muslims were fighting there; they came to India. They killed all the kings. In a big palace, there were many, many women; there were many, many kings there. They all came, these women there, because it was a very strong and good building. There were too many; they became Muslims. The other kings and strong people left. So they went to fight with the Muslims. These Mahārājas all took the yellow dress, like fire, so they would be as if in the fire. Many of them were killed. Then there was a fire again—fire stories, a very big fire. They made women, and because their husbands died, the Muslims would take these ladies. So, from the building, all these women, ladies, fell into the water of fire. They burned in fire. They said, "We will burn in fire; we will not die at the hands of these Muslims." We have been; he was there from Udaipur. From Udaipur, yes. Two, three times I put our people there. If you want to come, I will bring you, okay? They will not burn you now. It is a very big palace, two or three kilometers. Now tourists come and go there, and people tell them the whole story. So this is not a joke; it is real. But we, not only me—in India, in these countries also, many times it happens, no? Mokṣtu Mahāprabhujī and God, please, it should not happen. It should not happen again. That is Prāṇa, energy. Otherwise, chik, chik... my God. So, time and we need that. It is not easy that we are yogīs or that we will be like that. Oh, Śrī Prabhūjī, ha ha... Siddhīdīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Aikiś.
