Conference from Bhari Khatu

Peace is found only within, through the Self, and in the shelter of the saints. The world is restless, seeking peace in objects and achievements, but peace is not found externally. A saint is one whose desires have ceased, who lives for others. Their darśana yields immediate fruit, purifying the seeker. Worldly birth is for experiencing karma, while the birth of a saint is to guide others. True peace comes from Self-knowledge, the inner wealth. This knowledge and a spiritual vision are gifts from the Guru. Indian culture and its saints are the source of this peace, which cannot be found elsewhere in the world. One must turn the vision inward to discover one's own peaceful nature.

"Sādhuram darśanaṁ puṇyaṁ, tīrtha-bhūtā hi sādhavah, kāle phalanti tīrthāni, sandhyāyāṁ sādhu-saṅgamaḥ."

"Gaṅgā pāpaṁ, śaśī tāpaṁ, dainyaṁ kalpa-tarustathā, pāpaṁ tāpaṁ dainyaṁ harati sādhu-saṅgamaḥ."

Part 1: A World Peace Gathering The world peace meeting is taking place here in Badīkhātur, Nādur, Kācharāj village. We request all of you to please be seated. After the meeting, food will be served. Please enjoy it. To commence this program, first, in the footsteps of Gurudev, we offer our reverent salutations and respect to Gurudev. We will now honor our sādhus and saints. I would like to ask Narendra Bhai Chaudhary to raise his voice and offer a welcome. Narendra Bhai Chaudhary owns a beautiful group of companies in Mumbai, with eight to ten showrooms. Now, I would like him to welcome our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara from Punjab, Ātmanand Jī Mahārāj. I would like to request Umā Purī Jī to come and welcome our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Swāmī Cidambaranand Jī, who has come from Mumbai, by blowing the conch. Now I would like to request Chakan Jī to come and welcome our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Swāmī Jñāneśvara Purī Jī Mahārāj by blowing the conch. He has come from Croatia and liked Indian culture so much that he took Indian citizenship. Today, you and I do not speak Sanskrit with as much influence as he does. I want to welcome such a saint on this stage. Swāmī Jñāneśvara Purī Jī, you are very welcome. He also speaks Rajasthani. Now I will welcome Narendra Bhai Chaudhary Jī, who has come from Sujāṅgarh, to welcome our Mahārāj Kanpurī Jī. Kanpurī Jī Mahārāj, you are very, very blessed. You have come to this program and blessed us. I would like to extend this welcome to our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Jī, Ātmanand Jī. And today, our new successors—whom we have fed in our lap, our sometimes-naughty children—Swāmī Jī announced a successor yesterday. I would like to welcome Khyāti Rathore Jī, a climate analyst from Washington, D.C. I request her to welcome Swāmī Avatāra Purī Jī with a shawl. That is why I set the camera to the side. Khyātī Jī has come from America for us. She is a special disciple of Swāmī Jī, and her father is a colonel. Yes, you can see we are covering it all. Now I will ask Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Swāmī Ātmanand Jī to give his blessings to the people of Nagaur. "Bharat Mātā kī jay! Bharat ke santon kī jay! Bharat ke ṛṣiyon kī jay! Bharat ke muniyon kī jay! Gaṅgā Mātā kī jay! Satya Sanātana Dharma kī jay! Param Śraddhe Mahāprabhū Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān kī jay! Param Śraddhe Archanīya Vandaniya Pūjya Pād Sonāma Dhan'ya Jinkī jay! Āj pavan puṇya smṛti me ye Deva rakhe gaye haiṁ, Śraddhe Svāmī Madhvarāta Purī Jī Mahārāj kī jay!" My dear friend... Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Maheśvarānanda Purī Jī Mahārāj, whose blessings are the foundation of this program, is seated here. He is the supreme disciple, our supreme adornment, Ananta Śrī Vibhūṣita, along with Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Swāmī Jñāneśvara Purī Jī Mahārāj, and our supreme adornment, Ananta Śrī Vibhūṣita, along with Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Swāmī Cidambarananda Jī, Sarasvatī Jī Mahārāj, Bābā Kanpurī Jī Mahārāj, and those whom Swāmī Jī Mahārāj has chosen as his successors, like our Swāmī Avatāra Purī Jī Mahārāj, and all the saints... and the best of the best, dear friends. Today, there are two programs. One is our worship of Lord Brahmā, Śraddhā Svāmī Madhavānanda Purī Jī Mahārāj. Today is the day of worship of Lord Brahmā, Śraddhā Svāmī Madhavānanda Purī Jī Mahārāj. Today is the day of worship of Lord Brahmā, Śraddhā Svāmī Madhavānanda Purī Jī Mahārāj. Today is the day of worship of Lord Brahmā, Śraddhā Svāmī Madhavānanda Purī Jī Mahārāj. Today is the day of worship of Lord Brahmā, Śraddhā Svāmī Madhavānanda Purī Jī Mahārāj. Today is the day of worship of Lord Brahmā. Many times, he used to hold my hand and walk around in the evening. Swāmī Jī used to talk about Yoga and Vedānta in a simple manner. Many times, I got the opportunity for his darśana. See, such simple and humble saints. The symptoms of a saint are complete. Do you know who a saint is? Who is a saint? Ādi Śaṅkarācārya Mahārāj, when he used to travel with his disciples in the form of a Parivrājaka, his disciples used to ask him questions. The Praśnottarī is very famous. One disciple asked, "Gurudev, who are the saints?" He said, "Apaṣṭa moha khilvita rāga, śiva-tattva-niṣṭhāḥ"—those whose desires are gone. Who is a saint? One whose desires are gone. Do you have a desire for happiness or not? Saints will have neither desire nor a desire for happiness. "Yasmin sarvāṇi bhūtāni ātmaivābhūd vijānataḥ, tatra ko mohaḥ kaḥ śokaḥ ekatvam anupaśyataḥ." Where there is the vision of unity, the vision of the Self, where there is the vision of equanimity, there is neither delusion nor sorrow. Both are mighty. Such great men, such saints, whose lives are not for themselves but for others. You live for yourself, but when a saint lives, his life is not for himself but for others. See, in this world, God, who is formless, when He comes in a form, we say He has taken an avatāra—sometimes in the form of Lord Rāma, sometimes in the form of Lord Kṛṣṇa. You listen to the stories of the avatāras, right? You also listen to the story of the 24 avatāras. In the Bhagavad Gītā, it is said there are infinite avatāras. So see, when God takes an avatāra, for what purpose? Why? To bestow grace upon the devotees, to do good to the devotees. And when a worldly person is born, he comes under the influence of his karmas—to get the fruit of his karmas, to enjoy them. It is made in the form of sañcita and prārabdha, and then the kriyamāṇa goes on. Then it becomes sañcita, then prārabdha comes before him. This is what goes on. This is the state of the jīva. But why do saints come, like Swāmī Madhavānanda Purī? Why do great men come? They become a guide for others; saints become a guide for others. Saints are the ones who give the path of spirituality. For such great men, it is said in our scriptures that only the darśana of such sages and saints will give goodness. "Sādhuram darśanaṁ puṇyaṁ, tīrtha-bhūtā hi sādhavah, kāle phalanti tīrthāni, sandhyāyāṁ sādhu-saṅgamaḥ." You go to a tīrtha—Haridwāra, Vṛndāvana, Kāśī, Puṣkara. If you go to any tīrtha, you do not know whether you will get the fruit of that tīrtha or not, whether you will get it in this birth or the next. But when you see a saint, you get the fruit immediately. God’s remembrance comes; you get the fruit immediately. When Mahārāja Bhagīratha was bringing Gaṅgā Jī, Gaṅgā Jī said, "Look, Bhagīratha, you are bringing me. In the coming Kali Yuga, there will be a terrible time. In the Kali Yuga, people will defame me; they will defame Gaṅgā Jī." Bhagīratha was very intelligent. He said, "Mother, you do not worry. No matter how much the people of Kali Yuga defile you, when such great saints place their feet upon you, you will become pure again; you will become holy again." So, such a great saint, Swāmī Madhavānanda Jī Mahārāj, was such a saint, whose pavana-puṇya-smṛti (auspicious and pure remembrance) is today. You are fortunate. In this pavana-puṇya-smṛti, this is the land of those great men. The land on which a saint resides, where the feet of a saint fall, that land also becomes holy. This land where you are sitting is also holy. Secondly, as far as this world peace is concerned, today there is a need for peace in the whole world. The whole world is restless. Today, wherever you look in the world, every person is restless from within. Ask anyone. People have become so restless due to COVID-19 that even if you talk to a doctor, he will say that the most stressed patients are those suffering from depression. There is no peace. You will say you need peace the most. You have everything: wealth, prosperity, God. But if there is no peace... There is an incident in our Śrīmad Bhāgavatam. Mahārāja Yadu, while roaming in the forest, saw under a tree Avadhūta Dattātreya Jī Mahārāj. He was sitting very happily, very peacefully, and blissfully. This incident is narrated by Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa to Uddhava Jī. When Yadu saw Dattātreya Jī Mahārāj, he felt blissful. This is what happens with the darśana of a saint. It is said: "Gaṅgā pāpaṁ, śaśī tāpaṁ, dainyaṁ kalpa-tarustathā, pāpaṁ tāpaṁ dainyaṁ harati sādhu-saṅgamaḥ." If you go to the Gaṅgā, consume her waters, bathe in the Gaṅgā, then what happens? The Gaṅgā is a sin-destroyer; she removes sin. As soon as the moon comes, coolness comes at night; it removes the heat. Here in Rajasthan, no matter how hot it is, how much coolness comes at night—in the desert! So the Gaṅgā removes sin, and the moon removes heat. And there is a Kalpavṛkṣa in Devaloka, in heaven. It will fulfill your desires. As soon as he saw Dattātreya Jī Mahārāj, Mahārāja Yadu was very happy and came and sat at his feet. He joined his hands, bowed his head, and then said, "Gurudev, if you allow me, may I ask you something? Can I ask?" Dattātreya Jī said, "Okay, ask me, Rājā." He said, "Mahārāj, I am Bhūpati, Cakravartī Samrāṭ. Yadu Bhūpati, Takhaṇḍa Bhūpati. Your Majesty, there is no shortage of wealth, but there is no peace. What is not there? There is no peace. There is no peace of mind. I see that you are a Digambara, with no clothes on your body, and you are in great bliss, in great peace. From where did this bliss and peace come to you? I have everything, and there is no peace." So Dattātreya Jī said, "The wealth that I have is not with you; that is why you have no peace." Yadu said, "Mahārāj, what wealth do you have?" As our Swāmī Jī Mahārāj was saying, we do not keep anything with us; we have the Mahātmā (the great Self). Whenever we want, we carry it with us. There is no attachment to any place, no attachment to any object. The Mahātmā is the same. You cannot leave it. For two days, Mahārāj Jī said, "Come to the āśrama, come to Jordan." So on the third day, what will you say? "Mahārāj Jī, I am missing my daughter, I am running away from home." And what about the Mahātmā? He says, "I do not have the property that I have." Yadu asked, "Mahārāj Jī, what property do you have?" So he said, "Rājan, I do not have property outside; I have property inside. I have the wealth of Self-knowledge, the property of Self-knowledge." Do you understand? Until you have consciousness, until you have the knowledge of your own true form, until then you will not get peace. You will not get peace in any object, you will not get peace anywhere in the world. Where is peace? So you have peace in your own form. Peace is nowhere to be found. Kabīr Jī says: "Sukh svarūpa ho sukh ko dhūṁḍe, jala meṁ mīna pyāsī. Mohi phira bīra āve āṁsī. Maśālī jāla meṁ rah kar kahe, mujhe pyāsa lagī hai." It is such a laughable matter. The fish in water says it is thirsty. Even though water is all above, below, and around it, that fish still has to make a little effort to drink the water. Similarly, you also have to come to your own true nature. Where? Where your vision is, turn that vision inward. And that very vision, the inner vision, is what the great beings give. This is why we have come for food. There was a great man named Charan Dās in Rajasthan. He was a disciple of Gayā Bhāī, Shāhjo Bhāī. He was a saint of the Bhakti Kāla. Someone asked him, "Mahārāj Jī, what do we get from the Guru?" Mahārāj Jī said, "Guru, you are the Guru. What do we get from the Guru? You come to your Guru, you come to Swāmī Jī, then what do you get? What will you get?" So I asked him, "What did your Guru give you?" He said a very good thing. He said, "My Guru has changed my vision with such grace." That vision was materialistic. He changed that materialistic vision into a spiritual vision, so that now my vision rests in God, in Bhagavān. "Dṛṣṭiṁ dharmātmikāṁ gṛhṇāt paśyad brahma-mayaṁ jagat." This vision is given to me by my Guru, my Sadguru. So he gives vision from Mahāprabhu Jī. Today, the need for such a vision is for peace. Do you want peace or not? Today, the whole world wants it. Today, the whole world is afraid. Where? How? Atomic bombs are being made. There is tension with China. Move ahead to Russia. Russia, move ahead to America. There is tension in between. Why? For peace or for unrest? For unrest? Why? Where else will we find peace? Yes, in the shelter of the saints. Where will we find it? In the shelter of the Sadguru. Wherever you wander, wherever you go in the world, you will not find peace anywhere. If you find peace, you will find it at the feet of the Sadguru, at the feet of the great beings. You will not find peace anywhere else. The culture of our country is so good. Indian culture is the greatest culture in the world. There is no such culture elsewhere. Yesterday, Swāmī Jī was saying something while sitting at night. I was listening. What do you call a woman here? You call her 'madam'. You call her there. Thirty years ago, a person went to England. The husband and wife both went. He met a white Englishman's husband and wife there. When they met, the white man's wife asked the Indian wife, "Who is this who has come with you?" She said, "He is my husband." The Englishwoman asked, "Since when?" She said, "What do you mean, since when? Since I got married." The Englishwoman said, "Really? How many years has it been since you got married?" The Indian woman said, "30 years." The Englishwoman exclaimed, "Oh my God! 30 years and you have only one husband? 30 years and you have only one husband? Oh my God! Don't you understand?" Do not get me wrong. You love Indian culture. That is why you have come to Swāmī Jī's abode. You are sitting here today. This is our Indian culture. Is there any culture like India's? There, a boy will say to his father, "John, come here." Here, someone will say to his son, "Kapil, come here." Kapil will say, "Wait, I will tell you." This is Indian culture. We should be proud of our culture. We should be proud that if we can get peace from anywhere, we can get it from our country, our culture, our saints. And we cannot get peace anywhere else in the world. So, it is a very good thing, Sardār Swāmī Jī Mahārāj. I would like to say that this World Peace Summit—now it is 2021—I used to talk to Swāmī Jī many times. There is a world conference happening; today this world conference is very important because every person is restless. Every person is worried; today, everyone needs peace. So I will again say to you that if you want bliss, if you want peace, then you will have to come under the shelter of the Sadguru, the saints. I will say this to Swāmī Jī Mahārāj—you are my friend. We took our first group bath together in 1998. From that time, Swāmī Nārāyaṇa Nandī and I were very young. We were also... time is passing. Time is very short. The goal is very big. That is why we should get attached to it. Time is very precious. There was a great soul, Swāmī Rāmakṛṣṇa. He used to say, "Look at the clock on the wall. If you look at the clock on the wall, you will find three hands in it." One is the hour hand, the minute hand, and the second hand. The second hand, if you look at the wall clock, it makes a sound: tick, tick... So, Śraddhā Swāmī Jī Mahārāj, we would like to say to you that you should live for thousands of years in this way and keep bestowing your blessings upon your devotees. You should be healthy. Many times, Swāmī Jī talks to me when he is sitting outside. There also, we met Swāmī Jī many times in Europe. We had to go together; we had to travel many times. So, many times we say that you have become old, the condition is not good. But we will say that you will never be old. You will always remain like this. And all your disciples—Avatāra Purī Jī, we have seen him since childhood, since he was small. Once, Swāmī Jī said that he was in Linz, and I was in Salzburg. So Swāmī Jī said, "Linz, you come to meet me." So when I went inside the hall, Avatāra Purī Jī stood there with his head held high. So small. Do you remember? So today, see how big he has become. When children grow up and move forward, it brings great joy. If you ask a father, when his son is young and successful, how happy he is. Similarly, a Guru is happy when his disciples walk on their path. So this avatāra is a very good thing. Swāmī Jī has done a very good job. And with him, I had said yesterday that flowers look good in the garden. It looks good in the garden, and there are a lot of flowers in the garden. Swāmī Jī's garden has many of his disciples. They are all flowers of the garden. All the flowers are there. Now we have to nurture all the flowers for Avatāra Purī Jī, so that there is no wilting. There should not be any flower that wilts. We should not think that a special flower has wilted. This is in the hands of Avatāra Purī Jī. At night, there are the men of our Akhāḍā. At this time, the entire Akhāḍā is under the guidance of the Pariṣad. Now they have been entrusted. Today they are going to Badarīnātha. Yesterday, we had the idol of Annapūrṇā here. And our Yogī Jī and Amit Shah Jī and many other leaders are also coming there. I also want to say that I have come here, but I cannot stay. So, last night Swāmī Jī was also there, Swāmī Cidambarananda Jī Mahārāj. We were talking for about 40 to 45 minutes. So, I told him that we had come here and Swāmī Jī had come down. He said that it is a very good thing. He has to be at peace. It is his place. It is his wish. And he said that Swāmī Jī's disciples are very good; he also taught Jñāneśvara Purī Jī. Many of my old friends, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvaras, old and older, many of them have left us. Most of them have left. Because when I became a Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, I was the youngest. It has been 25 years. I was the youngest. So many of them left, and many people had held the hands of their disciples and told me to take care of them later, to make them Mahāmaṇḍaleśvaras. I made many of them. So I told him yesterday to become a yogī like Swāmī Jī Mahārāj made Jñāneśvara Purī, Ved Purī, and Jasrāj Purī Mahāmaṇḍaleśvaras, and you should also become a Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. The other disciples of Swāmī Jī, Phool Purī Jī and Rājendra Purī Jī, should also become yogīs. There are many more like Umā Purī Jī and many more. I have had a relationship with Swāmī Jī for many years. There are so many disciples, like Swāmī Premananda Jī, Yogendra Purī Jī, Chandra Purī Jī, and many more. All of them do a lot of service, day and night. Even now, I see all of them behind me. You should have faith in the Guru. A disciple gains faith only if he has faith in the Guru. In our Vedas, there is a saying: If a disciple is sincere, he will only meet the Guru. He will not get anything else. Whatever he gets, he will get it from the Guru. The Guru's vision is the same for everyone. The Guru knows what kind of disciple I have, who is worthy of it, and what he has to give. From the Guru's vision, nothing will ever be lacking. And our Swāmī Jī Mahārāj, his vision is not only on India but on the entire world. He is called a world teacher. So, in the presence of Sardār Swāmī Jī Mahārāj, I will only say this: Swāmī Jī, may you remain healthy, may you remain strong. And the inner matter... well, the inner matter is inner. Swāmī Jī and I, what connection do we have sometimes? With you, my inner matter is... So I will tell Swāmī Jī that your disciples are very good. They are good, they are worthy, and you and I will go one day. Everyone has to go. From the point of view of the soul, you do not have to go anywhere. From the point of view of the body, the body is perishable, the soul is not. But from the point of view of the body, even if we do not stay, you will be proud that Swāmī Jī Mahārāj has made him the successor. Those who have chosen the disciples, they are just like the Gurujī; they are also disciples. In the end, I would like to say that may you be healthy, be happy, and love all of us, and may your devotees keep receiving your blessings. May you all be happy, peaceful, and blissful. Hari Om Tat Sat. Thank you, Mahārāj Jī. You have told us very insightful things. I would like to say that as the age of a sannyāsī increases, his knowledge also increases. So your age is not increasing, your knowledge is increasing. Now I would like to request our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Swāmī Jñāneśvara Purī Jī to collect his mobile. Now I would like to request our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Swāmī Jñāneśvara Purī Jī to come on the stage and bless us all. As you know, Swāmī Jñāneśvara Purī Jī has come from Croatia. He speaks very good Hindi, Sanskrit, Rajasthani, and other languages fluently. He is also a citizen of India. Ātmananda Jī Mahārāj, you have heard our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Jī. Ātmananda Jī Mahārāj is in Haridwāra, Punjab, on the banks of the Narabadhaka, Gujarat, and many other āśramas. He travels the whole world. Today he has to go to Pathānkot. There is a Kathā near Pathānkot. It is a 10-hour drive. He is from Mumbai. He has many āśramas. He has established āśramas in other countries as well. Kanpurī Jī Mahārāj is well-known. He is also your Guru. He is from Sujāṅgarh. On this side, we have Mr. Umā Purī, who lives with Swāmī Jī in Vienna, Mr. Yogendra, and Swāmī Yogendra Purī, who take care of the āśrama. And our BSF Commander Mangilal, and a businessman who is in Mumbai, Mr. Narendra Chaudhary. When Madhavānanda Jī Mahārāj blessed him, he had a small shop. Now, more than 200 people are working for him in Mumbai. He has shops in half the area. This is the devotion to the Guru. Part 2: The Grace of the Guru All this food, all these offerings, are from Him. Kapiljī Agarwal is our manager from Jaipur, a businessman working across 300 tracts and doing a great deal of work. My sister-in-law is also about to arrive. Today is an auspicious day. Our Mādhavānandjī Mahārāj has not yet arrived; we will come to know. There will be a lot of noise. So, in 2003, today is the 5th of October. At 7:45 in the morning, the Saṅgam is over. On the day of Śrāvaṇī, our Dādā Gurujī, the King of Hindu Dharma, Mādhavānandjī Mahārāj, was born. And on this day, because Mādhavānandjī Mahārāj is our... this World Peace Council, which is running all over the world, is associated with our United Nations. So, in the name of Gurujī, this is established in the United Nations: the Śrī Svāmī Mādhavānand World Peace Council. You know that Narendra Modi spread Yoga all over the United Nations, all over the world. Do you remember how many years have passed? Before that, our Gurujī Mahārāj, Svāmījī, Viśvagurujī, established the Mādhavānand World Peace Council inside. Which is going on in the whole world and is helping the whole world. What should I tell you? I am doing it in the form of a person in front of you. Where I was born and in which language, only God knows. And in front of you, I am giving you a discourse in Hindi. I am talking to you in Hindi. This is the Māyā of Gurudev. What was my thought? I had definitely heard the name of India, but what was my thought? That I was a Kāchārāj, I was a Śrī Alakṛṣṇī? I will stand in front of you and say something in Hindi. So this is the effect of devotion in the Bhāgavata, in the Purāṇas, and in the rest of the Purāṇas. Because these days, the Kali Yuga is going on. In the Kali Yuga, rupiyā is Rām. Now, everyone asks for Rāmjī. Today, they have started asking for Rāvaṇa, but no one wants Rāvaṇa. I, Rūpārāmjī Mahārāj, will make you the best idol of Lord Rāma and the best idol of Rāvaṇa. Whom will you take home? Lord Rāma. If Rūpārāmjī makes the idol of Rāvaṇa in gold, then? So, the world that is going on these days, this is Rupiyā Rām. And what is the problem with us? How do we do tapas here? When is the day of fasting? How much do you eat during fasting? Sago, chips, potatoes, etc. So there is no fasting. There is no fasting. And still, how much will you fast? For five years? Two years? Ten years? In the Kali-Yuga, the mātrā-bhakti is going on. Because we will do the worship, and if there is cheating in the sea, then God will do it, and if there is cheating in front of me, then God will not come. But if you call from within, from the heart, if you call from the heart, then God will surely come. I remember a story from the Bhagavad-Gītā. There was a story going on. A thief was sitting. The thief was listening that Paṇḍitjī... so the thief went to Krishna and asked the Paṇḍitjī, "Where is he?" He said, "Go to the forest and meet him." So the thief went there. Dondrata Krishna appeared in front of Krishna; the thief appeared in front of him. He said, "What do you want?" "I am Dondrata, give me this jewellery." "Okay, if you want jewellery, take it." The thief thought, "I have seen Paṇḍitjī, I will give him 10% of his respect." He reached Paṇḍitjī and said, "This is your respect." I said, "What respect? You told me, 'Where is Krishna?' Krishna has come. I have looted him. Is this your Īśā?" This is Guru Bhakti, Bhagavān’s Bhakti. Above Bhagavān’s bhakti is Guru’s bhakti. Why? You stand in front of Hanumānjī and say, "Oh God, Hanumānjī, you spoil me to the servants." Because nowadays the burden of servants is heavy. It is not my service. Kill him. Let the cow die. Yes, thank you, Lord Hanuman. We should not say this, but still we say we are selfish. Now, if we say the same thing in front of our Chidambaran or Kanpurī Jī, what will be the answer? What? What do you want? That is why the Guru is greater than God. Because the Guru will show you the right path. Only God and Guru are visible; they are one form. On one side is God, on the other side is Guru. One is the avatāra, which happens at times. Have you heard of the Rāmakṛṣṇa avatāra? Many avatars of God have taken place. But where did they take place? Why didn’t the avatar of God take place in Marusthal? Do you know? Because there are so many great people here, and there are so many saints here, that there is no need for God to take this avatāra. There are so many saints here. Only those who are close to Mahāprabhujī, and Mahāprabhujī, who is in the third number in the picture, they have six special disciples who have attained supreme knowledge. This is only our tradition. There are many other disciples and gurus who are in the form of God. One is Nityāvatār. What you are seeing is Nityāvatār. Nityāvatāra is like Lord Rāma. What did Lord Rāma come to tell us? How we want to live our lives. If we want to have a son, then the son should be like that. If we want to get married, then the girl should be like Sītā. So this is Rāma, this is the form. Now I will give rest to my speech. The one we were waiting for has come. We will sit comfortably. Son, we have time. We will go and come back. So, I would like, dear friends, I would like to tell you what is happening at the moment. This is actually the first World Peace Summit which we are holding here in India. From 2002 onwards, we are holding the summits all over the world, and this is the first time, so we are very happy to have your presence here, unfortunately in virtual form because of the corona situation. There are very few of you who were able to come because the visa situation is not good, and corona. This is also not good, so this is the first time in India that we are having the Śrī Svāmī Mādhavānand World Peace Conference, the first time in India, although Svāmī Mādhavānand has already been working in Europe for many, many years, and from 2012. It’s a special chapter of the United Nations called the Economic and Social Council. So finally, we managed to bring on this, uh, Samādhi day of our beloved holy Gurujī, he managed to organize the conference in India in his name. At the same time, we had a Night satsaṅg, and we had also the prasādi for everybody, the eating for everybody, and now we will have the princess of Jaipur as a main guest to this summit. She came, she is also involved in politics. She is the member of Parliament in the Legislative Assembly in Rajasthan. Also, we had here Swapnil Kothari, whom we already met at previous conferences, and all our dear friends. We have Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmījī Dhyānbharaṇand from Mumbai and Svāmī Kanpurījī from Juna Akhāṛā, who is living nearby in Sujangarh. He’s very famous in this area and a great bhajan singer, Hamār Hamār Maṇḍaleśvara. He’s a very good speaker of various Purāṇas. On this side, we have whom you know, and from Yogeś Purījī, and also we have one. Let’s say, Policeman Maṅgalamjī and Narendra jī, so it’s our great honor that we are able to be here, and in this time we can organize this summit due to Corona. Limitations, we are able to call only 200 people, so we didn’t actually announce very much about the program. So, other than that, we had a very beautiful program yesterday. We had it in a nearby village. There was one very old temple, Cārbujanāth Temple, and Viśvagurujī told our dear Rūpārāmjī to make it new, so they built a very nice one. A beautiful temple, and inside, yesterday was a ceremony of putting the statues again in this temple. Of course, the villagers were very happy with that, and there will be some more decoration of the same temple, and of course, yesterday. We had you witness the putting of the shawl on Avatār Purī, as a successor of Svāmījī. So Svāmījī’s work is all over the world, and also it’s very much in India, but India is very big. It’s 2,000 kilometers from one side to the other, and four thousand kilometers from top to bottom. So it’s quite a big area, so Svāmījī mostly concentrated his work in the Rajasthan area and Gujarat area, something in Delhi and other places. As a Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara of Mahānirvāṇī Akhāṛā, he’s also visiting many other places, and Svāmījī is invited to many, many other things, so I would like just to ask some Yogeś Purījī to come for the... Okay, so we have the quorum decided that now Avatār Purījī will give us a few words. Oṁ Śālakpūr Jī Mahādev Kī Jai, Devādideva Deveśvara Mahādev Kī Jai, Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Jai, Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ Parama Mahān Svāmī Śrī Mādhavānanda Purī Jī Sadgurudeva Bhagavān Kī Jai, Viśva Guru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Parama Mahān Svāmī Śrī Maheśvarānanda Purī Jī, Ugarāj Kī Jai, Manjpe Pirajman Par Madhar Niyan Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Chidambaranan Saraswatī Jī Mahārāj, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Jñāneśvara Purī Jī Mahārāj, Kanpur Jī Mahārāj, Swapnil Kotharī Jī, Umā Purī Jī, and all of you who are present here. And all of our Dharmapremī Sajjano and Mātṛ Śakti, I bow to you all. Today, as you all know, our Dādā Gurujī, Indra Dharma Samrāṭ and Mahant Svāmī Śrī Mādhavānand Gurujī Mahārāj have been blessed. And it is my good fortune that since the time I was born, my Pūjya Gurudev, Viśva Gurujī had adopted me. Since then, I have been at the feet of Dādā Gurujī, and I have been blessed to be at the feet of Dādā Gurujī. I was 4 years old when Dādā Gurujī’s Mahāsamādhi took place in 2003. For four years, I used to play at the feet of Dādā Gurujī like a child. His blessings have come upon me, and the blessings of Pūjya Gurudev have always come upon me. I want to narrate a small story of Dādā Gurujī. When I was two or three years old, I used to come to Dādā Gurujī’s place to offer prayers in the evening. I used to say, "Prasāda." He said, "No, I don’t have it, go to Svāmījī." Svāmījī said, "No, no, go to Gurujī." As I went left and right, in the end, his prasāda used to come out from under the pillow. And I used to sit happily with the prasāda. I don’t remember many stories with him, but his blessings are the highest. If the blessings of the saints are upon you, then everyone will be blessed. Guru Kṛpāhi Kevalaṁ Śiṣya Ke Ānanda Maṅgalam. Pūjya Mahārāj Jī says, "If you have the grace of the Guru, who is the one who brings light from darkness to light? The Guru." There is such a big ocean. Who is the one who brings you from one shore to the other shore? The Guru. Who is the one who brings the devotee to God? The Guru. Where there is a devotee, there is God. If a mother gives birth to a child, a devotee gives birth to a child, or a son gives birth to a son. So, we pray to God that if a mother gives birth to a child, she gives birth to a devotee. Because where there is a devotee, there is God. Where there is a devotee, there is God. And there is only a Guru who can take the devotee to God. There is a saying in Sanskrit, that the Guru should not be misguided. It means that if the Guru has given you some orders, if the Guru has told you to do something, you don’t have to think or understand why the Guru has said this, whether it is right for us or wrong. No. Our Guru has given this order: we have to do this, so we have to do it. We don’t have to think why the Guru has said this or what to do. No. Guru has to come forward and make a decision. So whatever Guru has said, it is for our well-being, for our progress, and whatever is said, we have to do it. For the first time, Bāpūjī Mahārāj has organized the World Peace Council of Śrī Mādhavānand Parvan Svāmī Mādhavānand Jī in our Kāchārāj village. Bāpujī Mahārāj has organized it in different countries for the past few years. And this time, Bāpujī Mahārāj has said that this time we will do it here in India. And from Jīrā, our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Samyat Mananpur jī Mahārāj, from Mumbai, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Chidambaran jī Mahārāj, Kanpur jī Mahārāj, Swapnil Kothari jī, and now Diyā Kumārī jī is here. And in front of Bābūjī Mahārāj, a big conference has been organized. So, good work. And all of you who have come here, thank you. Then I will come and talk to you. The matter has been decided. What will I say? First of all, I bow to Ādarṇīya Gurudev, Mahāmal Śāh Parāṇāth Svāmī Maiśāṇāmjī, Viśva Gurujī. Śrī Rām, respected, respected. Śrī Rām Parānāth Jī, Khaṭam Purī Jī, and dear Mahāmal Śāh Svāmī Ganeś Har Purī Jī. Today we are having a conference with Viśva Smilan. All the speakers speak very good Hindi. Please allow me to speak in English. There are two reasons. First, the English people don’t understand what is going on here. Secondly, my Hindi is very weak. That is why I will speak in English. Tutti-Frutti is going on. He said, "If I eat kichari in the ashram, there is also kichari nearby, so I will mix it." So I will tell you a story. I will start with a story. There was a dog, he went to the jungle. He went to the jungle, from one side to the jungle, then from the other side to Kuba. He was going to a village. In the middle, he was hungry, so he saw that there was some fruit, so he said, "We will eat this." He ate and ate, but the one who was eating the fruit was Jher, and everyone was shocked. What are we going to do now? How are we going to get out of the jungle? The jungle is very long, so a man said, "You tell me." You are the leader, you tell me. So he went, he went, he went. The leader told him, "We will take this way." So he went, and he got stuck. There was a man, the man got stuck. So he said, "I will guide you. You tell me. You tell me what to do." Chalo, gayā gayā gayā, dubārā kāḍ mehfas gayā. Phir bole ke, the gayā, comity baḍā de gayā, comity baḍā de gayā, bād kaise nīkal gayā. I am not speaking Hindi, please excuse me. Sometimes I understand, but in the Polish name, sorry. And I know many of you, Svāmījī’s holy Gurujī’s bhakta’s disciples. Svāmījī was introducing all to us, videśī people, and we are very, very happy that we can be here in the holy place of Śrī Avalokiteśvara Siddhārtha, where Śrī Dīpnarendra Mahāprabhujī was here, and beloved, respected, holy Gurujī was here. And also nearby in Satoli, where Śrī Devapurījī was, Bhagavān and Kailāś. So this place here in India is holy for us. And the air and the dust, everything is holy here for us. We know from Svāmījī’s stories and teachings how it was, and also from your presence how it was, and from the places how they were, and now our Viśva Gurujī is coming with the guest. So, I wish you all a very pleasant meeting. Thank you, Mr. Umāpurī. The main guest of today’s program is Princess Diyā Kumārī. She has arrived on the stage. You are a member of the Parliament. We thank you very much for accepting our invitation to come here. You are the founder of the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation. And I am very much thankful to you, ma’am. I don’t know how to say thanks, because I have to pay my sum of gratitude that you have accepted my request. Thank you very much. Now, I will request our Khyātī Rathore jī from Washington, D.C., to welcome the princess. Welcome! God bless you! Princess Diya Kumari Foundation has started an NGO for women’s empowerment. Princess Diya Kumari Foundation is doing a great job for the poor women who are unable to get education. I salute your passion and pray to God that you will move forward in your life. And I also pray that your vision is not only in the political sphere. I would like to bless the Princess that her vision will spread in the coming time. Just like our Chief Minister Yashod Pellot and our Prime Minister are spreading, in the future you will also lead our Pradesh and our country. Princess Diya Kumari, and with this, I request the Princess to come forward and stand on the stage. Today, at the World Peace Summit 2021, in the program of Yoga Wisdom for a Sustainable Future, on behalf of Viśvaguru, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Svāmī Jñāneśvara Jī, Kapil Agarwal Jī, who is the secretary, H.H. Svāmī Maheśvara Nanda Jī, Peace Ambassador, World Peace Council, Europe. Swapnel Kothari jī, Khyati Rathore jī, here Rajman, Viśvaguru jī, our Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Paramahaṁsa Svāmī Maheśvarānand jī, Svāmī Jñāneśvara Purī jī, Svāmī Avatār Purī jī, Svāmī Yogeśvara Purī jī, Mangilal jī, who is the DIG of DSF, Narendra jī, who is present here. I am very proud and fortunate that I have the opportunity to come to this World Peace Summit. They are very fortunate who are sitting here today, our Viśvagurus and all our great men. With their blessings, we all got their blessings. They all told us, and we all, we all have a very big one. I believe that the way our spiritual knowledge is, our spiritual knowledge is not available to most of us. Because I am from a political life, you are also from a business life, you are also farmers, you are also from different strata, but your blessings have come to us today. It is a very big thing. It is a very fortunate thing for this entire area that we got the opportunity to listen to all these discourses today. I also got the opportunity to come here because there are many such great men whom I have also met for the first time. So this is also a very big thing in our area. As you all know, especially in yoga, Mahārāj Jī has done a lot of great work in the whole world. And we all have to take inspiration from them. And as we saw in the Corona pandemic, the people who had more immunity were the same people who were very good at yoga. Either they used to do prāṇāyāma themselves, or they had adopted yoga in their life. They also had very little impact on this pandemic. So we have also learned a lot from this. In these two years, yoga has increased our inner strength, our internal strength. Our immune system has increased, it is strong, but apart from that, our mental strength, our endurance strength, I believe that it also has a lot of power. There is a common person who does not do yoga, and there is a common person who keeps doing yoga. The inner strength, mental and physical strength, is very high. That is why we all should adopt yoga in our life. We all should be physically active. It is very important. We should breathe the right way. We don’t breathe the right way. We don’t take it. One is the pollution. The pollution is increasing all over the world. You all know that. Climate change has become a big problem. It is still being submitted in Glasgow. We all know that our Prime Minister was present there. And it is a very big problem for all of us. So, what are we doing for it from our side? There is a need to worry about that too. How are we increasing our pollution? We are increasing it because of us. First of all, we should strengthen ourselves. We should do yoga and meditation. We should increase our mental capacity. That is on us. But apart from that, the pollution, the external forces that are spoiling our environment, we need to think about what kind of contribution we can make to them. And not just thinking, we need to take appropriate steps for that. If we don’t take the first step, then how can we say anything to others? We can’t say anything. It depends on us. It is the responsibility of all of us. How can we make our society better in every way? One is that we don’t have to take care of the intoxicating substances. And we don’t have to do it ourselves, and we don’t have to let anyone else do it. We should become vegetarian as much as possible. These are the things that no one used to take before. This was not even necessary. People who used to be meat eaters used to take it only when they went to war. This is not something to take in daily life. There is no need for this. We don’t need alcohol, we don’t need alcohol... we have bad habits, whether we talk about tobacco, drugs, or anything else that affects our mental health, and we are not able to think properly, and we are not able to do any work. So we have to stay away from all these things, and we all have to end this together. Whether the government does something or not, but what are we doing? We all want change. We want change in our area, we want change in our country, we want change in the world. We also have to do something for that change from our side. So, what can we do? What is our contribution? We make the society ourselves. We put bad habits in ourselves, so we have to stay away from all these things. There are many elders present in this program. We should take their blessings. We should take care of them. We should respect them. This is also very important. The new generation is slowly not respecting the elders. We go out of the city to look for a job. And then the elders who live in the village do not even ask them. This pandemic has taught us a lot. All these things are necessary. Our Indian culture, our Indian culture is a culture. How many people in the world have heard about it? Everyone is adopting it. They are praising it. But what are we doing? We are slowly forgetting it. We are slowly adopting Western culture. It is wrong. So we have to think about this as well, whether we talk about what we do in the house, we have so much. Indian culture is so many years old; these other cultures have just come forward. So if we do not respect that culture, if we do not move it forward, then no one else will do it, no one else will do it. There are a lot of youths here. It is also the responsibility of youths to understand this a little bit. All this is fine. Technology is important, modern things are very important, but along with that, our ancient wisdom of our country, which is the culture, should not be forgotten. You will not be able to fulfill it yourself. We all do something or the other in our homes, we teach our children our values, but do those children explain this to anyone? Our responsibility is not only towards our home; our responsibility in the whole society is the same. So, all these things, by the way, everyone here knows everything. Part 3: A Call for Roots and Unity I am younger than you all and lack extensive experience, yet I wish to ask and state something. I believe we must keep our Indianness alive. Our Indian value system is, I think, incredible. It always has been, and the world is appreciating it. However, I feel we as Indians are somehow forgetting all of that along the way. We are becoming too westernized. We need to appreciate our culture, our heritage, our values, and our traditions, which define who we are and have made our country what it is. The whole world is appreciating it. Yoga, of course, is something now practiced everywhere in the world. But in India, we are not doing it as much as we should. I think, as we all know, Corona has made us realize, this pandemic has made us realize and return to our roots. Our roots are our homes. We realize that what is important is our homes, our families, our roots, our culture. That is what we need to truly strengthen and feel proud of. I am very, very proud of being an Indian. I think today we are all very proud of our Prime Minister, the way he is talking about our Indian value system and yoga all over the world. There is, of course, World Yoga Day on the 21st of June, which is such an important day. I think the whole world has recognized it, and I am so proud that everybody is appreciating all of that. Thank you so much. Of course, I am speaking in English, which everyone here may not fully understand, but this is for the overseas audience. I would also like to say that our Indian culture has so much to offer. We have Āyurveda, we have so much, and it is so harmless, like our yoga. When you do yoga, you will not get sprains and aches. If you do some other kind of aerobic activity or exercise, you might get injured. Yoga has made us scientists. Everything is so scientific in our culture. The way our health system has been, everything is so well-researched and based on scientific facts. If you see our Vedas, they are still very relevant today. Kīthe aaj bhī utnī hī relevant hai, utnī hī unkī aaj bhī value hai. Yeh nahīṁ hai ki uss samay thī āp nahīṁ hai, abhī bhī hai. So we have to understand that. I would like to again thank everyone on the stage, all our Viśvagurus and everyone today who have come here to bless everyone. What we have learned from them is something we will value. When you all leave from here, please accept into your lives whatever discourse has been done today by all those who have spoken. I have complete faith. Whenever there is any need, even if it is mine—although it is not in my area—still, the area is everyone’s. The whole world is, I think, our home; that’s how we need to feel. Everybody is a part of that. You are a family; we are all one family. I think we need to hold that in our hearts. If you feel that way towards another human being, I think that’s the only way this world can survive. We have to feel that way. One cannot have any enmity, any kind of animosity, any ill feeling towards another human being. It has to be beyond boundaries—beyond the boundaries created between countries, religions, and genders. It has to surpass all of that. We need to feel as one, and I think that is so important. Any human being suffering is a part of it; it could be you, your mother, or your brother. We should feel that if any other person has a problem, that problem is ours because it belongs to our family, no matter who it is. This feeling should also be within us. I believe this, and once again I thank you all for calling me here and giving me this opportunity to speak. It is a huge honor and privilege. Thank you so much. Thank you so much, Princess. You said that first of all, we are human beings. This is not your area, yet you came at our request and shared your thoughts. You respected our saints and sages. For this, I thank you very much. One and only Swāmījī said to me that we are doing this World Peace Council, which is currently live in 160 countries. All our foreign viewers are watching you live and are very happy to see you because whenever they come, they see a political person. You are political, you are a princess, you run an NGO, so they are very happy. The people of Nagore always talk about politicians. Today, you spoke about their benefit. First of all, we are human beings. Our mothers and sisters should have the food of Madhira. Girls should also get an education. The most important thing is that this is not your area, yet you have told them to come to you if they need anything. Hats off to you, ma’am. Thank you very much. Now I request my friend C.A. Sapnail Kothari from Indore. He is the Chancellor of Lenin Tsai University, an educated entrepreneur, and a renowned global speaker. Sapnail Kothari, I know this program is being telecast live in 160 countries. I will try to do justice to both languages, as thoughts also come in Hindi. I will speak from my heart so my words reach your hearts. Swāmījī, I want to start with a small incident from the second wave of Corona. An 80-year-old man in Indore was infected. His health deteriorated, but doctors saved his life in a major hospital. When being discharged, he saw the bill. He was on a ventilator for two days, costing Rs. 22,000. The old man started crying. The doctor said, "The bill is too much. If you say so, I will reduce it." The man replied, "No, I am from a very well-off family. I have worked hard my whole life. Money is not a problem." The doctor asked, "Then why are you crying?" The old man said, "I have read that the cost of two ventilators is Rs. 22,000. I am 80 years old. You kept me on an oxygen ventilator for two days for Rs. 22,000. How will I thank this nature, which has kept me on oxygen for the remaining 89 years, 11 months, and 28 days? How will I return to that nature?" I want to start my talk from here. This philosophy of yoga connects a person to nature. That is why it is called yoga. Yoga means integration; it connects a person to nature. Swāmījī, on all platforms today, there are saints and politicians. One thing you must have noticed in today's time is that whether you meet a peon or a politician, everyone has a void in life—an emptiness, an incompleteness, a restlessness. If we analyze, why this void? Why this incompleteness? If we go to its root, we will find its root is Mahatva Kāṁśā (the desire for importance/greatness). Its genesis is ambition, which has two forms. The first form is Viṣailā Mahatva Kāṁśā (poisonous ambition). Mahatvā kī ākāṅkṣā, aur iṣṭa dūsrā aur svasth rūp hotā hai utthriṣṭhita kī ākāṅkṣā. So, it can either be poisonous ambition or a strive for excellence. When you strive for excellence, you want excellence. We all have two choices before us regarding our mahatvā ākāṅkṣā (desire for greatness). We must check the fabric of our own desire for importance. We don't realize, while running in the race of life, when our desire for greatness becomes viśeṣa (special/selfish). This happens most with politicians, but it happens with everyone. So, we have two options: either choose viśeṣa mahatvā (special/selfish greatness) or choose param mahatvā (supreme greatness). There is a difference. This viśeṣa mahatvā is born from the mind and nourishes the ego. The desire to be exalted (utkṛṣṭhatā) comes from the heart and nourishes creativity. This viśeṣa desire gradually finishes off all the virtues you have. The desire for utkṛṣṭhatā gradually makes you a better person; you keep developing your virtues. The viśeṣa desire makes you a slave. You start being happy in others' sorrow and make others' happiness miserable. Utkṛṣṭhatā gives you the purity to see your happiness in every person's success and joy. You have two options in life. Either become the owner of Ramalingam Raju Satyam or become Narayan Murthiji of Infosys. Either become Hani Singh and ruin your life in intoxication, or become Jagjit Singh, whose voice remains immortal even after death. Yoga has the power to transform our important desires. There are two journeys in life: an outer journey and an inner journey. In the outer journey, you win the world with the power of science, politics, and management, and you get pleasure. When you undertake the inner journey with yoga and spirituality and are victorious, you get joy. We need both happiness and joy in life. Therefore, yoga can become the source for transforming your viśeṣa and mahatvā desires and the source of your spirituality. I will speak for four or five more minutes. There is an English word: courage. It is similar to bravery. In Hindi, it means bahādarī. Bevajah kī bahādarī (senseless bravery) is more for the youth. As I run a university and college, most of my time is spent with youth. In bevajah kī bahādarī, we form groups, support violence, and when there is a lack of reason, try to hurt someone physically. But this is not courage. Courage means sāhasa. A courageous person practices truth, is self-sufficient, fasts, and practices truth. A courageous person does not need any group. He stands where there is morality, and the whole community becomes independent. A courageous person always takes the support of non-violence. I say again, if you are aggressive, if you have a pitṛ-pradhān raṣa (patrilineal aggressive tendency), yoga can transform your aggression into courage. Because yoga changes you from within. All other exercises in the world change you from the outside, but yoga changes you from the inside. One last thing: we here have two people attached to politics. Young people find the word "power" very attractive. The whole world is crazy about power. Even power courses of yoga have started—Instant Nirvana. I saw on Facebook a three-day course called Instant Nirvana for 1700 rupees. It's a funny thing. The word "power" has two meanings in Hindi: śakti (power) and prāṇa (energy). There is a difference. Doing business and politics increases your śakti. Your prāṇa (energy) increases through spirituality, religion, and yoga. Information gives you more śakti, but knowledge increases your prāṇa. When you do a lot, acquire a lot, and name your properties, your śakti increases. But your prāṇa increases through sacrifice. When you collect things for yourself, your śakti increases, but when you act without selfishness, your prāṇa increases. If you are in this race for prāṇa, then do yoga. Keep your relationship with spirituality. Yoga will turn the ghost of this śakti into a thirst for prāṇa. Remember: prāṇa can give birth to prāṇa, but śakti cannot give birth to prāṇa. Conviction—the reason Columbus should be appreciated is not just for finding a new way to America, but for his belief that a new way existed. That's conviction. Yoga is about internal healing, which enhances your confidence and increases your conviction. Yoga is about transformation from inside. We are taught that character in Hindi is caritra, but there is another word: Śīla. Śīla is what blooms from inside; that is the meaning of character. So, yoga is about internal healing, internal transformation, communication with yourself, and communication with your God. Yoga is not about success or failure. It's about the temperament you build gradually to handle both success and failure. Recently, I was talking to Swāmījī. He said a beautiful thing: no matter how good the news is, it should not affect you for more than an hour. I asked, "Swāmījī, what about very bad news?" Swāmījī said, "You should make this very clear: very good news... (recalling a breakfast in Prague) I agreed that good news should not affect you for more than an hour. But what if it is bad news?" Swāmījī said when you practice this, then even bad news will not affect you for more than an hour. So, yoga is not about being the doer; yoga is about being the observer. This is what the Gītā teaches us. We are doers, but if along with this we become observers in life—if we believe that this birth, this soul, this body is all-pervading, that this body and life are tools—then we will feel we are observers. Then there will be no ego, no sorrow, no unhappiness, no happiness, no pressure to be happy. I see people in neighborhoods making laughing clubs while doing yoga in the morning. They laugh for no reason, thinking it will improve their health. This will never happen. These laughing clubs are ineffective. This pressure to be happy is also a great pressure and stress. But when you do yoga, you get rid of this pressure. I would like to end by saying that when you get rid of the pressure of being happy, then you find the real joy of life. Look at the faces of our two great Gurus, look at Swāmījī's face, look at the faces of all the saints sitting here. There is infinite peace. This infinite peace is beyond happiness and unhappiness. This is the true path to happiness. So, I offer my condolences to my father with these words. Shanshan Hoda said a very good thing: we should stay away from intoxication and adopt vegetarianism. We must explain to the youth that no intoxication can be greater than working hard in life. We can talk about intoxication for hours. I am Jain, so I would like to thank them. I have met thousands whose lives have been transformed by becoming vegetarian. On behalf of the Jain community, I thank you for your encouragement. We all decided to do a major program in Geneva to honor Swāmījī. He has elevated Sanātana Dharma to unimaginable heights. I thank him and also Kapīlbhai, who is important in organizing all this. My favorite character, Mr. Aftarpurī, who is pure. I was happy to know he will lead a satsaṅg tomorrow in this spiritual movement. Thank you very much. I request the head of this village to send one or two children who are good at studying to my university. We run many courses. Choose two children and send them. I will ensure they complete their studies, covering the cost of living and food. I feel everyone should make their contribution today. Thank you so much. Jai Hind. Thank you very much, Sapnil Bhai. Your thoughts and your words for our Kacharaj village and the two children are a great blessing. The importance of yoga and vegetarianism you have told us. Hats off to you, sir. Now, our Satsaṅg Mahodaya has to go to the next program, and he has given a lot of time. So, I request Swāmījī to say a few words. Śrī Alak Purījī Mahādev, Devādhi Dev Dev Purīṣya Mahādev, Ārādhi Bhagavān Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī, and Ārādhi Bhagavān Śrī Svāmī Madhavānandjī, Bhagavān Devpurī Samhādev, Alagpurījī, and all his disciples, Svāmī Madhavānandjī. We all know about him, have read about him, but there is only one person in the whole world who is a united nation. After that, every country has its village or name, etc. Svāmī Madhavānandjī was 18 years old when he began coming with Bhagavān Siddha Mahāprabhujī. Svāmī Madhavānandjī, around the whole world and in India, there are very few such great Īśvarī Vibhūtis (divine manifestations). One of his Gurus, Mahāprabhujī, said, "Mādhavānand, what should I give you? I will give you whatever you want." Madhavānandjī said, "I don’t want anything, only your worship. I only want that." Madhavānandjī said to Mahāprabhujī, "I have gone to other countries, and I have now been 52 years around the whole world." All the love of the world. Wherever I go, the Lord always stays with me. Swāmījī told me that no one should suffer. "One in all and all in one," Gurujī used to say. With this, in Austria—I live in Austria—and many countries like Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada, we brought Vimit Śrī Svāmī Madhavānandajī to the United Nations. It took two or three years because every country asked, "That country and that person, how will you live in the UN? What will you do?" Our Austrians did all the work. In America, at the UN, Svāmī Mahādvar gave a speech. We have programs in many countries. I thought in India I would also give a speech for Svāmī Mahādwar at the UN. It doesn't happen for one person; it occurs when it happens in different countries with a UN person present. Here, due to Corona, they cannot come twice, but every person there, for four, five, or ten minutes, was talking all night at the UN. This time, I was five minutes late. They were five minutes late, but our Queen of Rajasthan... I say that if you come abroad, I will think about you and the people there. When I came to Vienna, everyone was saying, "Don’t you eat meat? Don’t you eat bread? Why don't you eat bread? You eat meat, right?" I said, "No." They said, "What is it? You will become like Gandhijī." I said, "Gandhijī is great." But they said, "No, you will become like Gandhijī. Gandhījī, tell me, are you going to eat meat and die a big death?" I said I will tell everyone. Look, in thousands, not just one country, in our country, that word—meat, Madhira, drugs—nothing is there. Not only that, about 20 months, years have passed. In today's age, what we call vegan—in a vegan center, cow’s milk, buffalo’s milk, goat’s milk, any animal’s milk—don’t take it. It is because they have children; give it to them. Secondly, when a cow mother gives birth, whether the baby is small or not, when she knows it's a goat... when the mother gives it, she takes it out and eats the baby by biting, because she needs milk. This is happening in India as well. In our Rajasthan, there are many more instances. But in some places in India, cows are being slaughtered, beaten. Similarly, for honeybees. Foreign people said they will take this decision and do everything. But I drink milk. I have a cow mother; I have about 20 cows or more. They are all our cows; they will eat and drink. So, you know, you may also be in India. Now they see there is an egg in it, so they will not eat it. It has progressed a lot. Now they will not eat only Madhira, but it has progressed so much in America, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada, everywhere. Which one is it? Vegan. So, if we do the training of our cow mother, what has happened with it? Yoga. Yoga is not only about Āsanas and Prāṇāyāma. We have done Yoga. As Modiji said, when Modiji comes, thousands come, but the rest don’t do Yoga. And if they are doing Yoga, they are keeping meat in their homes. So why is this Yoga? We are humans. Among humans, in the whole world, only we are of our Sanātana Dharma; we have to bring only Sanātana. Oh brother, why do you want to have only one or two children? There should be at least five or six children. Yes, that is why I will take everyone to America, to other countries. That is why you should give at least five children. If I say I don’t want to sell my shop... I don’t want to sell my shop... Part 4: The Call of Sanātana Dharma: From a Village to the World I want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop. I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want to sell my shop. Shop, I don’t want to sell my shop, I don’t want. You should take the advice that you should bring at least five to ten children of our sisters and daughters. After this, I said another thing: that we belong to the Sanātan religion. I have also said this to the foreigners. Why? So, first of all, we should do this: we are all Hindus. Whether you are a king, a farmer, a cow, or a buffalo, whoever you are, you are a Hindu. In that prāṇa, within that prāṇa, for our country, if we all sit together and say, what should we say about India? So this yoga is not like that. Just now, our brother had said about yoga. Mahāraṇījī, you also said about yoga. So yoga is that. It is a bhoga-yoga, which should be so good in our whole body that there should be nothing left in our body. Today, I would like to thank Mahārāj Jī, who is sitting here with us. I would like to thank him that you should not eat meat. If someone raises their hand and asks you to do it, don’t just sit and do it. Look at him. If you don’t want to eat meat, then raise your hand and do it. Do it twice so that you enjoy it. One is for the mass, and the other is for... Kuṣṇātaṅdharmakī Yogī, Yogī... Janaki Yog Nidra: Yogi Janaki is one who doesn’t sleep at night, and doesn’t sleep at night, but within him is the same power. Even if you say that you are sleeping, we are sleeping, but our nature is such that we want to. Come to the supreme abode, and call you back. My hands are very cold, but I don’t want to touch your feet. Let me see all of you. When we go there, those people will say, "We go to Abhijaj today." See, I am telling you in Hindi or English, all my foreigners, they are all sitting with me, stand up. If they are sitting in an airplane, they come and say, "Meat?" I say, "What? No meat." Indians come and say, "Yes, I want to have meat." Yes, it is true. You know Mahārajjī, everyone in India, in Vṛndāvana, they eat whatever they want. And these are our yogīs sitting here, they are sitting on our left. Our foreigners, come here please, take them all quickly. You are a yogi, running? Come, come. Sit down. Just sit here. I am asking you to see if this is our country. I said, "Don’t come, don’t come." Then you came to Austria quietly. Really, I said there is Corona, don’t come, don’t go. Then you came quietly again. They have so much love for me, they have the Guru’s grace, they belong to the Guru. So, who is eating meat? Alcohol? Meat? You want more India? All? All India? You like India? You like India? And you will make all again Indian, good? Tell everyone, these are our brothers, these are our children. And he speaks Hindi as well as other languages. So, see who has come in here. Come. Come. All come. Come. Hail Mother India. Hail Mother India. Come on here. Come. Stand up. Stand up. What languages do you speak? God bless you. In the three Guru Charanams, Koti Koti Pranam, we all worship the Gurujī and the saints. Namaḥ. Koṭi Koṭi Namaḥ. Gurujī has called us suddenly, so it is a little difficult to catch the breath. As Gurujī has said, in fact, almost all of us have eaten pañcāhārī food. 20, 30, 40 years ago, after meeting Gurudev, there was a big change in my life. When I met Gurudev, I never lost the wrong thing. We come to India because we get such inspiration here, such knowledge, which is not available in other countries. As Sister Diya Kumari Ji has said, in the Western culture, in the Western foreign countries, everything is available which is followed by the Indian society nowadays. But peace is not available. Peace is not available; peace is in knowledge. Knowledge is in the correct culture. So the Vedic tradition, the Vedic culture, we should keep it. And for us, our Gurus do it; that is why we have come under their protection. But here in India, only you have to do it. Only you have to do it. And like Dayā Kumārjī picked up a window, when she asked him to remove the wrong ears and legs, asked him to do Sākhārī, then from whom did she request? From the mothers. All the women sitting here have come here wearing a sari. Right? And men are wearing saffron dhoti and kurta. And because of the Western influence on Indian culture, who brings those things home? Women or men? There are some good things on TV, but there are a lot of bad things. And the things that we should bring to work, there are a lot of bad things in it. And you have to keep control over the boys. Why? Because the boys get spoiled. If Gurujī does not call you, then tell us. We would like to thank you for being here today. You have taught our Gurujī a lot. And we would like to ask you to keep our Vedic Sanskrit and our other videos. Thank you very much. Thank you. Who is the German? Who is the German girl? Who is the Austrian girl? Who is the Hungarian girl? Who is the Croatian girl? Slovenia? Yes? Serbia? Hungary? Czech? Czech? This is a picture of our friends from other countries. Greetings, Gurudev. Now our community members have to leave, so Swāmījī will take a picture of the home āśram which is being built in Pali district. Now, our respected Swāmī Kānpurījī Mahārāj will give a speech. Kanpurījī Mahārāj, please come. Satguru Dev Bhagwan Ki, Shri Deep Narayan Bhagwan Ki, Manchastha Pujya, Vishwaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar, Swami Maheśwarānand Purī Jī Mahārāj, Manchastha Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar, Swami Kyāneśwar Purī Jī Mahārāj, Manchkī Śobhā Vāda Rai, Ādranīya Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar, Swami Cidambaranand, Saraswatī Jī Mahārāj, Avatār Purī Jī Mahārāj, Yogeś Purī Jī, Śrī Mahant, Pramānand Jī Mahārāj, Umāpurī Jī, all the guests and all the people who have come from all over this region and from all over the world, all the respected people, mothers, young friends and children. I bow to Pūjya Svāmī Maheśvara Ānanda Purījī Mahārāj and express my gratitude that in this small village of Nagore district of Rajasthan, India, in Kacharas, a small village of Jail Tehsil, in this country, the world-level activities that Swamijī has kept here, for this we can express our gratitude to Swamijī, that is little. Today, in so many countries, the small village of Kāchāras, Chhavī, is going in front of the whole world. And the people of the world, who have come here from different countries, foreigners, we are forgetting our ancestors’ tradition and culture, and they are bringing us back to life. What can be more difficult than this? This is truly a matter of sorrow. It is possible that there is a lack of religious people. They are not lacking in anything. Our faith is no longer stagnant. It is not going anywhere. It is becoming quiet. It is wandering. It is growing. That is why, I have to say this with bad luck, how many people have come here and settled here, and how many good people who gave inspiration in Hindi and introduced you. So the people here, the people of India, the food that we eat, the food that we eat should not be limited. That is why the peace, the peace, the peace that we are reading, the peace that is being spread, this peace is not going to be found anywhere else. This peace, like for the world level, the work of the world level, the work of the world level, the purpose of saying this is that peace is not obtained by wandering outside. Peace will be found only inside, and peace will be found in the shelter of such great men and saints. We will sit at the feet of these great men. And when we follow their instructions and guidance, we will be able to follow them. First we will listen, then we will remember, and then we will meditate. We will listen, remember, and meditate. Only then will we be able to learn. This is what satsaṅg teaches us. And I again, without taking much time, because our great scholar, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Cidambaranand Jī Mahārāj, who is a very good person, and you are also a devotee of the Bhāgavata, so you and all of us have to listen to him. That is why I have a lot of things to say, but I will not take much time, and again, thank Swāmījī Mahārāj, Viśveguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Swāmī Maheśvar Ānand Purījī Mahārāj. Again, thank him, again greet him, again salute him, that in this small village Kacharash, we are very grateful to you for this great work of Viśvāmitra. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti. Thank you very much, Mahārāj jī, our Kānpurī jī Mahārāj, who is coming here today in this program. Now I will ask our Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar Swāmī Chidambaranand jī, who has come from Mumbai, to give us his blessings. Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Cidambaranandajī Hariyo. Now you must have been hungry. You were not hungry before. Or are you tired? So say it loudly. Satgurudev Bhagavān Kī Sanātan Dharma Kī Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī Mahārāj Kī Śrī Mādhavānjī Mahārāj Kī Viśvakuru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Maheśvara Ānandapurījī Mahārāj Kī Namaḥ Pārvatī Pataya Harā Harā Akhila Gauḍa Brahmāṇḍa Dhīnāyaka Parāyata Para Tattva Parapram Parātmā Tathāvanika Abhinna Svarūpa Sadgurudev. Bhagavān ke caraṇamaya anantaśya pranāma, jinke pāvana sannitya aura sanyojana meṁ ye sundara bhavya kāryakrama kā āyojana ho rahā hai, aise amare paramādhānya parama śraddhe anantaśya vibhūṣita viśvaguru mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Maheśvara Ānanda Purījī Mahārāja. Paramādhānī Param Śaḍḍe Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Jñāneśvara Purījī Mahārāja, Pramādharāṇīya Paramāśāḍhyāya, the famous and respected saint of your region, Svāmī Kānpurījī Mahārāja, Our dear Swāmī Avatārapurījī Mahārāj, Anyanya Sant, Vidyajan, all of you, Sanatan, Dramavalambi, Sajjano, and Matao. It is a matter of great joy that today, on the pious occasion of the Pune Tithi of Pramādharaniya Paramashadhyay, Hindu Dharma Samrat, Pujya Shri Swami Madhavananda Purījī Mahārāj, all people have gathered together. Aur yeh āyojan, yeh kārikram isliye bhī bahut viśeṣ mahattv kā ho gayā ki Pūjya Mahārāj Jī kī Pune Tithi ke avsar par hamāre Paramādhanīya Viśvaguru Mahārāj ne iss kārikram ke mādhyam se sampūrṇa viśva ko jodne kā kām kar diyā. World Peace Council ke madhyam se pūray viśv ko jodh diyā. As you know, you are watching, and this program is being broadcast in 160 countries. And today, standing in front of this stage, I am happy to say that these Mahātmas work to unite, and the terrorists work to break. This is the difference. That is why the scriptures have always praised the glory of the saints. Prasaṅga-majaram pāśyam ātmanā kava-yo vidhu, Saeva-sādhu-śukṛto mokṣa-dvārma-pāvṛtam. First of all, Śivad Bhagwatkar says that if you fall in love with the world, if you fall in love with the world, if you work to connect with the world, if you get attached to the world, then what will happen is that you will be bound, you will be trapped, you will be sad, and there will be unrest in life. Wherever you see someone restless in the world, what is the biggest reason for that unrest? So our attachment to the world, our love for the world, is the reason for this restlessness. Bhagavadkār says that if you love the world, you will be bound, you will be sad, you will have to cry. But this same love, this same affection, this same attachment, if it happens to you at the feet of the saints, then it opens the doors of your bondage and opens the door of salvation. "Sahavasāt śruto mokṣa bhāra mā bhavatām." Here it is written, world peace, we are talking about world peace. You have to understand one thing, that today this world needs world peace. It needs world peace discussion. It needs to say world peace. But in this whole world, only our Indian culture, only our Hindu Sanātan culture, where we did not talk about the peace of the world, we talked about the peace of the universe, the peace of the universe, the peace of the air, the peace of the... Universe, the peace of the universe,... the peace of the... If a world leader is trying to give a message to 160 countries sitting on this stage, then it is in the form of our Sanātana culture, and this should happen. I am from the United Nations, which you call the United Nations. Yesterday we were watching that council, Swamījī Mahārāj was speaking very well. I request you, this message from Swāmījī Mahārāj, I also want to say in the United Nations that if you think seriously about the peace of the world and want peace in the world, then it will not only be through talks. If the saints are gathered in the United Nations, then definitely the world can be at peace. What is the need of these saints’ speeches in the United Nations? What is the need of these saints’ speeches in the United Nations? What is the need for the presence of these great men in the United Nations? Only these saints will do the work of peace. Just now, Swamiji Maharaj, Vishwagurujī Maharaj, was standing in front of you and speaking. What did he do now? He called all his foreign disciples here on the stage. Okay, you saw, you encouraged him, and you also learned from him. Kanpur Jī Mahārāj was saying that there is such a big dilemma: we should learn from the people who live in foreign countries how we should live with them. But one thing I would like to request you is that you understand our greatness, understand the glory of our saints. That in the whole world, whether it is Europe, whether it is America, whether it is Australia, in the whole country, in the countries, if our Indian saint goes there and teaches yoga to a foreigner, if our Indian saint, a Mahārāj like Viśvagurū, goes... There, and gives a message, gives a mantra, gives education. So you can ask all these foreign followers whether they have experienced peace or unrest with the saints. What do you think? Peace. Because if they had experienced unrest, they would not have left their home and come here. They have experienced peace, right? The request I want to make to you is that the result of attaining the identity of a saint is that people from abroad also come to India to experience peace. But have you ever seen that a person from abroad comes to India, and you sit next to him and you experience peace? Have you ever seen that? If a person from abroad comes to the refuge of a saint from India, then he experiences peace. Sant is the source of peace, Sant is the doer of peace. That is why my request is that when the whole world can go to the shelter of Sant and get peace, then my brothers and sisters, why can’t we? You go to the shelter of the Sant and get peace? Why can’t you do it? Let’s talk about world peace. I say that you should talk about world peace later. You should start creating peace in your home. There will be fights in your home. There will be fights in your village. There will be fights in your family, so can world peace ever come? So first you learn to love your brother. First we learn to love our family. First, we learn to love our village. First we learn to love our district. First we learn to love the country. First we learn to love the nation. Then we can imagine peace in the world. Swamiji Maharaj, our Gyaneshwar Purījī Maharaj was saying a very good thing. He said that there is Kalyug, and in Kalyug, people’s behavior is important. God is not so important; money is God. Swamiji was saying, Swamiji said a very good thing, Jñāneśvara Purījī. He said, maybe you remember, he said that in the Kalyug, a person believes in money. So he narrated an incident and said, "If a person keeps the idol of Lord Rāma and the idol of Rāvaṇa in front of you, then who will you lift? Say it, say it, say it loudly." Lord Rāma. Lord Rāma. Swāmījī said that if there is a slight difference, if Rāvaṇa’s idol is made of gold and Rāma’s idol is made of wood, then who will you lift? Ravana’s? Okay. This is the case of the people of the Kaliyug. Swami ji said, "Should I make a slight difference in this, Swami ji?" This is the nature of the Kaliyug. In the Kaliyug, people will do the same. But I tell you with complete faith and trust that other people will do such a thing that if Rāvaṇa’s idol is made of gold, they will pick it up and leave Lord Rāma. But people like Viśvagurū, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar Svāmījī and other great men will not do such a thing. Do you know what they will do? They will pick up both the idols. Will they pick them up or not? Why will they pick up both the idols? Then we will pick up both the idols because they are the idols of Rāvaṇa’s gold. So we will pick up the idol of Rāvaṇa’s gold and take it to the goldsmith. We will make him wear it, we will take the value of the gold, and we will make the temple of Lord Rāma. No, this understanding can come even in the age of Kali Yuga by being in the refuge of a saint or not. This understanding can come by being in the refuge of a great man. So don’t be afraid of Kalyug, don’t be afraid of any situation, don’t be afraid of anyone. Do you listen to Bhāgavat? Do you listen to stories? That Indra rained heavily. I know it is very late. You must be hungry. I am also hungry. I also have to eat. But let me tell you one thing: if I was listening to everything for two hours, then I also feel like listening, right? I should not listen. I will not take much time. In the Bhāgavatam, you hear that Indra decided to drown the whole Braj Maṇḍal by the rain. He will destroy the whole Braj. But what did all the Brajvāsīs do? They went to Lord Kṛṣṇa. Krishna, Krishna, Mahābhagavān Nātham Gokulam Prabho. They went to Lord Krishna and asked him to protect them. What did Lord Krishna do? He lifted the Govardhan mountain, and he asked all the Brajvāsīs under the Govardhan mountain to come under his shelter. Indra will not be able to harm you. I just request you that, just like Lord Kṛṣṇa’s mountain of Govardhan was protected from the rain of Indra, just like that, sitting under the umbrella of the great Viśvaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Mahiśvarānand Jī Mahārāj, you will be saved from the problems of the Kaliyug. You will be saved from the effects of the Kalyug. Kacharaj is a small village. You may say that it is a very famous village, but let me tell you one thing. I had asked someone in Jodhpur that we have to go to Kacharaj. He said, "Where is Kacharaj?" He did not know. Many people do not know where Kacharaj is. But you see, the Kachārāj who does not know where that village is in Jodhpur, will be, due to the grace of a saint, in 160 countries. It is due to the grace of a Mahāpuruṣ. You think how much merit your village has, how much pride your village has, that a Mahābhūti like Deep Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī is in contact with this village. It is the result of that. It is the decision of those Mahāpuruṣas that such a saint, our Viśvaguru, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Mahiśvarānanda Jī Mahārāja, who did great penance, who did great hard work—how hard it is to build a house, how much effort it takes to build a house, you know that very well. When it is so difficult for you to take care of a house, look at the condition of a Mahātma. He is doing the work of taking care of his people in 160 countries. He is doing the work of saving culture. He is doing the work of promoting Sanātana Dharma. The beautiful thing that Pūjya Mahārāj Jī has said is that you are a farmer, no problem, you are a politician, no problem, what you are is not important, but you are a Hindu, this is important. You should think about it; you should understand it. Today, Swāmī Madhavānand is giving a message of peace to the world at the World Peace Council. Thank you very much to everyone who has organized this. Thank you to Mr. Kothari from Indore. He is also doing a good job. Our Kapil Bhai, who was the administrator of this, we also give him a lot of blessings. Swāmījī Mahārāj has declared our Avatār Purījī as his successor. You must have seen his work yesterday. We wish him well. He will move forward and walk on the path of Pūjya Viśvagurūjī Mahārāj. He will devote himself to Sanātana Dharma. He will unite his life and death for the protection of Sanātana Hindu Dharma. He will unite his whole family and move forward. Our Rājendra Purījī, our Phool Purījī. I cannot know the names of all the ignorant saints. I may be misguided, but all of us are united. The main idea is that who is where is not important. I request you, I also request our saints, I also request you. Our Kanpur Jī was saying one thing. He was saying that even after living in India, you are also moving away from Indian culture. Is this a lack of the saints? Is this a lack of us? Oh brother, if we had a lack, then how would these people of 160 countries come into culture? God, who did the work of connecting these foreigners with the Indian culture? The Mahatmas. If the Mahatmas were bad, then how would this happen? This means that there is a lack, not in us, but somewhere in you. You are in trouble. Yes, I can say one thing. There is no lack in the saints; there is a lack in politics. Politics is at fault. Who tried to destroy our culture, tried to destroy it, tried to spoil our history? It is unfortunate to say that in Rajasthan, Mahārāṇā Pratāp is not considered a brave man, and Pṛthvīrāj Cauhān is not considered a brave man, and Akbar is considered a great man. This is sad. This politics should be abolished. This politics should be changed. Those who do not have the courage to be proud of their own religion, those who do not have the courage to express their own greatness, such politics should be changed. And if someone can be a symbol of that change, then they can be a saint, they can be a great man. I am very happy. Swāmījī Mahārāj invited me. I thank everyone very much. I also salute all of you for your penance, that even yesterday you sat in the sun. Part 5: A Gathering of Gratitude and Wisdom Even now, at one o'clock, you are sitting and praying, listening so peacefully. Thank you very much to all the mothers and brothers. Thank you very much, Mahārāj Jī. Your knowledge brings delight to the people of Kacharās, our foreign friends in 160 countries, our brothers, and our yoga companions. Now, I invite Mr. Premarām, son of Mr. Ram Kishan from Kacharaj village, to the stage. Mr. Premaram donated Rs. 2,001,000 to our Yāvatā Purī event yesterday. I welcome and honour him. I also invite my brother Narendra Chaudhary to the stage to welcome and honour him and present him with a picture of Om Āśram. He has donated 2,001,000 rupees for our programme. His father, Rāmkiśan jī, also donated 2,001,000 rupees. This great respect and thought for the sādhu community fills us with gratitude. God bless him. Let the applause be loud for him; he is from your Kacharaj village. Now, I call upon Praveen Pandey Bhai from Gujarat, a senior BJP leader. Praveen Bhai, please tell the audience where you are sitting. I would like to honour him. Please bring one shot. Praveen Bhai has simple and high-level thinking. He is continuously associated with the BJP from Gujarat, does service, and is a disciple of Swāmījī. Please stand straight. Mr. Ravindra? You should respect him by wearing his clothes. I can hear you clapping. I think you all are feeling hungry. About 10-15 minutes remain before Mahāprasādi is served. Now, our retired DIG, Mr. A.K. Pandey, is here. I invite him to the stage and request the DIG of BSF, Mangilal Jī Garg, to welcome him. He is A.K. Pandey, a retired DIG of BSF, and his welcome is our command. Retired DIG A.K. Pandey will be welcomed by our DIG of BSF, Mangilal Jī, who is posted in Gujarat. You are very welcome, Mr. President. Today, because of the BSF, our country, our army—all support goes to our army. With your arrival, we have gained ten times more strength. Now, moving forward without taking too much time, I request our DIG sir, who has come from Gujarat for this special program, to say a few words. Mangilal Ji, DIG Sir: Param Ādarnīya Viśvagurū Jī, Param Haṁsa Svāmī Maheśvarānand Jī Gurudev, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Kyāneśvara Jī, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Cidambarananda Jī Mahārāja, Rāmpurī Jī, Svāmī Avatāra Purī Jī, and all the citizens and devotees present here. I am from a different field, yet I am present here. The main reason is that I have been in the company of Swāmījī, in the company of Viśvagurujī, since childhood. Whatever I am today, all this is the grace of Gurujī. Time is short, so I will not say much, but I want to share one thing: I have faced many situations in life from which it seemed impossible for a human to escape. But that divine power always with me is the grace of Gurujī. First, I thank Viśvagurujī for elevating such a big program and bringing it to Kachara’s village. It is a great blessing he chose this place; we are all indebted to him. Second, the best Prime Minister of our country, Narendra Bhai Modi jī, gave yoga recognition to the world. World Yoga Day on June 21st was an extremely important work and decision. Because of this, our country will be known everywhere, and we will stand as a strong nation. And Viśvagurujī, in the right sense, has given the message of yoga, dharma, sanātana dharma, and humanity to the whole world. The awareness that has come to the people is a very big work. We all become a part of it, which is very good. I also want to give a message: first, make yourself strong. Be dedicated to the country. For us, our country is first. Everything else is after that. The country and humanity are first. That is our main religion, and it is very important to be strong. We must not be weak in any situation; we have to be strong and stay strong. Finally, I thank Mr. Swagdallin Kothari for announcing free education for some children. Education alone can take us forward, so this is a very good step, and I request them to continue this. Today’s main guest has left. The Princess, an honourable Member of Parliament from Rajasaman, came here and presented an excellent example. I thank her for coming to speak with all of us. Thank you very much. Jai Hind, Jai Bhārat. Thank you, G.I.G. sir, for expressing your views. Now I will read the message from our Chief Minister, Ashok Yalo, to the people of Nagpur. I invite the saints of the Goswāmī community to the stage. All saints and people of the Goswāmī community, please come to the stage. Our Chief Minister has sent a message for the Nagore people and for this conference, the World Peace Council. I read it to you all: "I am happy to know that the World Peace Council of Vienna, Austria’s 11th November 2021 conference is being held in Kacharaz, Badikhatu, Nagore. For the long term, it is important for us to organize international meetings on yoga, intellect, and special things. With yoga, knowledge, and spiritual practice, there is a positive effort on the importance of humanity and the peace of the world. It is hoped that in the presence of Vishwaguru Paramaṁ Svāmī Maheśvarānand Jī, we will prove useful for the peace of the world and for human welfare on the path of peace. On the morning of the international meeting, I was reminded of this. Thank you very much. I salute Paraman Swāmī Maheśvarānand Jī and welcome the guests of this meeting. For the success of the World Peace Council 2020, I express my best wishes." The CM has sent this message for this conference. He has also sent this message to all our foreign disciples of Surī Swāmī Madhavānand and the World Peace Council. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan has given you blessings and his message for the success of this conference. He writes: "I am glad to know that Sri Swami Madhavan and the World Peace Council are organizing the World Peace Summit 2021 on the theme ‘Yoga Wisdom for a Sustainable Future’ on November 11, 2021, at... I hope that the deliberations and outcomes of this summit will give new insight to improve the quality of life of the individual and will generate awareness about the role of yoga in world peace. I am thankful to Swamiji for inviting me on this occasion, and I wish the event a big success. Thank you, Ashok Gyānot Jī." Moving forward, I invite our principal, Surinder Sharma Jī, who will read a message for Swāmījī. Thank you, Kapil Jī. Principal Surinder Sharma Ji: First, I bow at the feet of Alag Purījī Mahārāj. I bow at the feet of Devpurījī Mahārāj. I bow at the feet of Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān. I bow at the feet of Mādhavānām Jī Mahārāj. And all Gurudev, Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar, Swāmī Maheśvarānand Jī Mahārāj, bowing at the feet of all Gurudev, Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar, and all the saints. For the sake of the Guru, you can consider this a tradition of Sanskrit. Pandit Narayan Shastri Kankar Sahib has created the tradition of Guru Bandanā in Sanskrit and sent it today. So, I request all of you to listen to the two verses of the Guru Mahimā that he has described for Viśvagurujī in Sanskrit and Hindi. Gurudev, namastu bhyam bharam bharam namoname. Ajñāna timiraṁ hāṁsi jñāna dīpe nibhāśvataḥ. He is saying, "O Gurudev, may you be blessed, may you be blessed, may you be blessed." There is no one more merciful than you, who can show us God, who has given us the witness of God, who has given us the knowledge of God. No one else can give us the knowledge of God. We can never take down anything from you. We are indebted to you, and we cannot take down that debt. We can only worship you. With these words, I take my leave from my speech. Bolo Dekh Purī Mahārāj Kī Jai, Svāmī Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar Deśvar Gurū Maheśvarānand Jī Mahārāj Kī Jai. Thank you very much, Principal Sir. You are our Dulendo Sharma Ji, Principal of Sanskrit Mahāvīr Chahalya. Now, I extend congratulations to Khyātī Rathore Jī from America, a Climate Change Analyst. She works for the World Bank in Washington, DC. You know about the World Bank—the boss of all banks in the world. She works there, and she is the daughter of our Colonel Sahib in Udaipur, a disciple of Swamiji. I invite her to the stage as our foreign devotee. If you give a message, please express yourself in English. Khyati Rathore: Gurudev ko śāṣṭāṅg praṇām, yahāṁ padhare sabhī sant mahind, sabhī bujargo ko merā śāṣṭāṅg praṇām, and Hari Om to all my Guru sisters and Guru brothers joining us remotely today and hearing us here. With Swamiji’s blessings, I’m honoured to speak today on the topic of yoga wisdom for a sustainable future, from the perspective of a social scientist and my understanding of climate change. I’ll address three basic questions very briefly, as we only have a few minutes. First, what is happening, and what does it mean for us? Second, why is it happening? What is at the core of the cause, and how can yoga wisdom guide us to find the solutions? And how is yoga wisdom at the root, the essence of the solution itself? We keep hearing about global warming, climate change, the need for a sustainable future. What does all that mean for our daily lives? Does it impact us? The simple answer is yes. On one hand, climate change impacts manifest as floods, hurricanes, wildfires—a long list of natural calamities worldwide. I’ll give examples of how it affects you and me in everyday life. Consider agriculture. Changing weather patterns and seasonality affect traditional farming, rendering old methods unworkable. This impacts crop seasons, availability, and food access for all of us. Farmers lose crops to heavy rain, drought, or heat waves, resulting in higher market prices and less food accessibility, especially for the poor and vulnerable. Consider the health system. We hear about diseases once unheard of, and new variants emerge. All these changes, results of climate change, put a big question mark on our future. That’s why we discuss the path forward, the wisdom for a sustainable future. So why is all this happening? It is the result of imbalances within our ecosystem, within nature. That’s why we are on this path of an unsustainable future. In our race for what we consider growth and economic development—humāre īś future ke rāste pe jitnā bhī humne growth, humāre development kī bāteṅ karte hain, pragati kī bāteṅ karte hain, uskī wajah se humne by natural resources, humare jo humare future ke liye, humare aage ki generations ke liye, wo resources bache nahi hai. Yeh sab humare pragati ke rāste pe jo hum chal rahe hain, iske essence, iske core be, is sārī dikhāton kī vajah kyā hai.—this is our broken connection with mother earth, with nature. This is the core of the problem in its essence. That is why our yoga wisdom, the teachings of yoga—peace, solidarity, unity—talk about this connection. If we follow yoga principles in life, the way we use things, then the tension between what we need and what we want can be dissolved through yoga wisdom, the knowledge Swami Ji and the saints here have given us. Implementing this in our personal lives, choices, and future path can lead to a sustainable future. To live in harmony becomes our responsibility. We, as individuals, must move forward these yogic and spiritual values—peace and unity—and implement them in our lives. With our unity, we must demand, as responsible citizens, that our leaders and policymakers make decisions and rules that impact our future positively. In the words of Swāmījī, world peace is in your hands. To all my Gurus, sisters and brothers listening remotely and sitting here, we have heard that the peace of the world is in our hands. We all must come together and move forward. Thank you, Khyati. Now I extend this link to those who are very hungry. I know those who arranged this food have a big heart. He is a disciple of Swamījī and has received such a blessing. Before, he didn’t even have one showroom; to buy one in Mumbai is like a dream. He has fully supported this festival’s organization. We would like him to say two words. Brother Narendra, when you leave, your people will follow you. Narendra Bhai: Bhagwan Ki Śrī Śrī Dev Puruṣa Mahādeva Ki Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ Satguru Bhagavān Swāmī Madhavānām Purī Jī Bhagavān Ki Viśva Gurumā Maṇḍaleśvara Paramaṁ Swāmī Śrī Maheśvarānām Purī Jī Bhagavān Ki Alak Puruṣa Mahādeva Ki Pratara Smaraṇīya. Satguru Bhagavān Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ Satguru Svāmī Śrī Śrī Mādhavānanda Purījī Bhagavān Viśvagurumā Maṇḍaleśvara Parameśvarī Maheśvarānandana Puruṣa Bhagavān Dīpānanda Mahāprabhujī Devādhi Devadeva Puruṣa Mahādeva Alak Puruṣa Mahādeva, and all those seated on the stage. I greet you with the blessings of the saints. Today is the 18th day of Bābājī’s Pūrṇimā. I had to organize a program of Swāmī Madhavānand World Peace Council on this auspicious date. I called Babaji and said, "Babaji, do it vigorously. Call everyone, all the villages of Aiju Baiju. Do not leave anyone behind." So Babājī said, "Tell Kapīljī." I told Kapīljī, "Don’t leave anyone behind. All the villages of Aiju Baiju, put hoardings everywhere and call everyone." When I first came in contact with Bābājī, he went for a walk with a friend and asked if he wanted to become a Guru. I said, "Yes, let’s see." So he went there and bowed to Bābājī. Gurudev said I had to take the Guru Mantra. I said yes, Babājī, you have to take it. So Babājī said, "Okay, bring a pot of water." I brought a pot, and then I gave a śaṅkal to my hand. Babaji gave the mantra. He said, "After today, I don’t want you to eat alcohol, meat, mutton, or any other such food." I said, "No, not at all." He gave me a promise. From that day till today, no one in my family is a leader in these things. I never left. All the people who came in contact with me, I told everyone: these things, our body—God has given it to take the name of God. Our body is not a graveyard. Because all the animals that live, if you take them into your body, then it is wrong. So many people leave, many people walk like this. After that, Bābājī said that time does not wait for anyone, and karma does not leave anyone. Bābājī used to say in every satsaṅg, "Time is passing, time is passing, Lakṣmaṇa’s life is passing. And Hanuman, when will you come? I don’t know which birth of my karma is breaking me." I remember these words daily: when the karmas have not left even God, and we always do the opposite karmas, then I don’t know what will happen. Daily, I remember Bābājī’s words: time does not wait for anyone, and karma does not leave anyone. This time Bapuji Maharaj came to Mumbai. We came to our friend’s house for dinner. Bapuji Maharaj came, gave him a mantra, and told him that all these living beings, those who walk, they all have a soul, and those who have a soul, they also have a soul in you. And if there is a soul, then there is God, that’s it. Know this, your bliss will be blissful. Kalyan ho jayega, toh main Param Guru Paramatma Mahāprabhujī se praārthanā kartā hoon, Gurujī se praārthanā kartā hoon ki aise bhāv hamāre antar jagrat ho, aur aise prem nit nit miltā rahe, jisse hamārī jindagī badiyā tarīke se āge chaltī rahe. Bol, Śrī Deepnān Bhagvān kī jai! Śrī Śrī Dev Puruṣa Mahādev kī jai! Hindu dharma samrāṭ sattva guru bhagavān Swami Madhavānanda Purījī bhagavān kī jai. Viśva guru mahā maṇḍaleśvara Paraman Swāmīśrī Maheśa Raṅganapurījī bhagavān kī jai ho. Alak puruṣa Mahādeva kī jai ho. Thank you very much, Narendra bhāī. Now I am getting the message, "What is your telephone number?" I would like to say only two words to our retired professor of Sanskrit, Kailāś Purohit Jī. I will invite him. Our Goswāmī Jī, Gyanpurī Jī, said two words first. I will say them first. I would like to say that whatever we have said, the whole world has told us. So, I say we should start from the beginning. I want to start a new house... [The original text here becomes highly repetitive and fragmented, indicating a possible transcription error or stream-of-consciousness speech. The core message that follows is extracted and refined.] We have given our culture to them. If we forget our culture, then, for the sake of improving it, we have kept bhajans in front of us. That is why we have forgotten our culture. In the beginning, we taught children how to play the drum, flute, and piano. We have worked for the country, whether for your home or your country. Sanātana Dharma is eternal; it will always be there. To save Sanātana Dharma, you must take care of yourself and your Guru. Every human must take care of their Guru. Don’t be a Nugra. Don’t be a Nugra. Who is a Nugra? He is a Śāstra Mān Vidhān. I say to all who have come for the service of the Bāpū Guru: follow the Guru’s teachings. Be a Karmayogī. God Kṛṣṇa has a message. Who can become a Śraddhā Sādhu? A Karmayogī. There is Yog. Yog is Karma. It is a Pradhān; become a Karmayogī. Because whatever is in your heart will be fulfilled. Hail to the Guru Mahārāj Jī! Thank you very much, Sādhu Bahādur. Congratulations! First, you are very tired. In two words, I request you to listen carefully. You have not paid attention yet. Again, I request you to listen. After 75 years of practice of Sanskrit, Vedas, Darśana, and Dharma, I make a prayer before you: the first one who will be healthy will do everything. If he is not healthy, then he will suffer and others will also suffer. God will not do anything bad in His house. He will be happy. That is why I, Swāmījī, have told the glory of yoga. The glory of yoga, all the Upaniṣads, all the Pramāṇakāntas, all the Vedas, say in one word that it is the creator of the universe, the one who follows the universe, the one who abides in the universe. There is no one, brothers. There is only one word, Oṁ. I will not say the name of Lord Brahma, Viṣṇu, or Maheśa. But listen carefully. Everything is included in Om. We are born in Om. We will be brought in Om. So, if you want to be healthy, happy, and holy, then pray to me for a small mantra, from a child to old age. When you wake up in the morning, in the middle, in the upper... in the upper. I have studied the Vedas, prepared the Vedas, prepared the textbook of the Vedas. You might have seen it—it weighs sixteen and a half kg, the Śabda Veda. The compilation and scripts officially say that the word is the whole, nothing but the creation of Om. The combination of three supreme powers, A, U, N. If by heart we learn them, if by heart we worship them, saying with the permission of your guru, then I am sure no problem of the world will ever disturb you. I wish the best for all people who have come. May God bless you all. I also thank the media people present here, our administration officials, our police officers who have made this work successful since morning. You have received many blessings from Swamijī. The police of Nagore district, the head of Nagore district, the head of the garbage dumps of our village. Thank you very much to all the people of our administration. Now, my prayer is that all of you take food with you and leave this place—without taking food, no one should leave this place.
