Introduction to Jadan Ashram

The eternal call is to surrender and become the dust of the divine feet. A bhajan states you are forgiven and should enjoy life through dedication. The Guru's legacy is preserved in a treasure of teachings and bhajans. His presence is a balm for the heart. Without his blessings, no one would be here. Jadan is the embodiment of this legacy, a divine playground for purifying minds. It is a wish-fulfilling tree for humanity's upliftment, a center of divine energy where all purposes are met. The project includes a unique temple with a central Shiva Lingam and 1,008 others. This place tells the story of Indian spirituality through its statues. The Guru's work in stone is visible, but his greater work is within hearts and minds. True devotion requires complete surrender, which is simple in concept but difficult in action. To give everything is to receive everything.

"My son, enjoy, you have been forgiven."

"Become the dust of my lotus feet."

Filming locations: Jadan, Rajasthan, India.

Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavāne Kī Jai. Svayī Maheśvarānandjī, Viśvaguru Deva, Kī Jai. Oṁ. Thank you. This bhajan was written by Bhagavān Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī. It says: "My son, enjoy, you have been forgiven. You have dedicated yourself to Gurujī, and that’s why you should enjoy life. You have put your life into his lotus feet." Then it says: "If you are mine, I will be yours. And from your skin, I will make my shoes." And then, to cross this ocean of saṃsāra, do not be afraid. I will bring you across saṃsāra, and be careful, because I can sell you. But at that time, I myself will become what I will sell—your things. And if you don’t believe me, look at all the saints, how they are living life. For my mercy, people don’t care. And from eternity, they are living in ignorance. But if you are my slave—but not in a bad way—my surrender, my devotee, then don’t be afraid of anything. Nothing can happen to you. It is the eternal call of the Lord: "Become the dust of my lotus feet." Mahāprabhujī says, "My child, like an immortal, go around this world." Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, kī jai. Prem Kapiala Kapamira Harasi. Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ, Bhagavān, Kī Jāī. Śrī Svāmī Madhavānandajī, Bhagavān, Kī Jāī. Prem. First and foremost, my adoration, respect, and devotion to our Guru Paramparā: Śrī Alakhpurījī Siddha Pīṭha, Śrī Alakhpurījī Bhagavān, Śrī Devpurījī Mahādeva, Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Jī, Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ Svāmī Madhavānanda Purī Jī, Satguru Jī, and Viśvaguru Jī. It is always a little like walking on glass to speak in front of Gurudev, not because it is dangerous, but because one can easily expose oneself with wrong statements. It is always nice to hear bhajans. All these bhajans, this richness, this treasure, they are all part of the treasure box that Viśvagurujī collected and preserved for us and for all those who come after us. There are many, many things in this treasure box: bhajans, his whole mission, his teachings, and so on. I will not tell you everything now, because it is always good to be in the presence of Gurū Dev. It is like a balm for the heart, an ointment. We apply ointments not only when we have wounds or open cuts or injuries. Without Gurū Dev’s blessings, we all would not be here today. We have to keep this in mind very strongly and remind ourselves all the time. I would not be here, you would not be here. But this year, I am missing something very much, and that is our Kṛṣṇa Purī. I have him very vivid in my mind because he was very jolly, he was very strong. Thank you very much for the day. It is like one of those days where I am not quite sure if I wake up and I am still in Jadan, in my bed, in my room, because I still did not arrive here, only physically. But, as many of you know, Jadan is a place by itself. It is the embodiment of Viśvagurujī’s legacy. In the many years that will come, it will show its true nature and its significance in this world. It is like an attraction, like honey, which attracts the bees. Over the last so many years, so much effort and energy has been put into this project. I can guarantee you it will never be short of work in the future, because it is a playground of Gurudev for purifying the minds of people, for creating something that people will appreciate, to come there, to stay there, to be in the presence of Jadan, which will fill them with excitement, with love, with understanding, with wisdom, with knowledge, and with a testimony of our Guru Paramparā. It is a kind of navel for the world. There, the energy is centered and gives nourishment, the divine energy. Everybody who comes there will get his part. If you come for a spiritual purpose, you will get that. If you come to fulfill your wishes, you will get your wishes fulfilled. It is a huge wish-fulfilling tree planted by Gurudev for the well-being and for the collective upliftment of humanity. And it reaches, it branches already deep into the universe. Many of you have been in Jadan, have seen Om Āśram, and have seen the different projects. Very soon, Gurudev will have the opening ceremony. Many people from all over India will come to participate. They will be invited, and it will bring it back, not only on the Indian map, but on the map worldwide. Yesterday when I was in Delhi at the airport, they told me I should not put my power bank into the check-in luggage. Śrī Śrī... I know about yoga, I do this and that, and I’ve practiced this for a long time, and I’ve seen this Om Āśram on the internet, Google Maps, and so on. So, people know, people are aware of it, and people appreciate what has been done and what is done. By the blessings of Mahāprabhujī, this opening ceremony will be, hopefully, within one, one and a half years. But it needs the support of all of you in different ways, be it mentally, spiritually, financially, or just of giving good thoughts. There, as you know, there is a big Śiva Mandir constructed, and in the center there is a Śiva Liṅgam, a very unique one, and 1,008 small Śiva Liṅgams with all 1,008 names of Śiva. This is very unique. It is not something that has been made before. And all the Buddha blessings go direct in respect, in adoration, and in love of our Satguru Swāmī Madhavānandajī, whose samādhi is just under that Śiva Liṅgam. It is a very unique thing, a unique creation. Besides the Om shape, it has a lot of history to tell about Indian culture and Indian mythology through the statues, which are nicely carved into the many pillars in the big hall and around the Śikhara. Wherever you go, there is a story, a story of the great India, the story of the spirituality of mankind. Whenever you go there, just look at the mūrtis, at the statues, and you will immediately see what the story is. When you read a little bit about the Mahābhārata, the Upaniṣads, the Śiva Purāṇa, you may find that story, which you already read somewhere, and you will connect to it. But Jadan is only one project of Viśvagurujī. Basically, I do not know how he is doing all that. Maybe he will not tell us, but he shows us all the time. What we can see is only a very, very small part: putting something into stone, what remains for many centuries to come. But what we cannot see is maybe much more, and that is, he works with our mind and our heart. Each of you knows individually your relation to Viśvagurujī: your achievement in life, when you started to meet him and where you are standing now, what changed in your life, and not only in your life but all around it, in your family, in your society, and how much you are ready to make this change also available to other people. Things happen automatically when you let them happen. When you hear in the bhajans about the making of shoes out of the skin, many people may be surprised or not understand what it means. But it has a very deep and significant meaning. A real bhakta would actually be proud about that; he would say yes. But how difficult is it to say yes? To say yes, we always say no when we get one hair pulled out. So it is easy to sing that bhajan, but it is very difficult to put it in action, and to allow it, and to be ready for it, because it needs a lot of devotion, surrender, and trust. It is actually everything, but from that everything comes everything. That is very simple. You give everything, you get everything. But first, you have to know what that everything is. I am very happy to be here. I am happy to be in this environment, this beautiful light, the breeze, the air, and, of course, overall, the presence of Viśvagurujī. Thank you for being here for us, for meeting you in this life, for guiding us and giving us the proper spiritual homeopathic dose, because that is very important. Paramat Swāmī Maheśvarānandajī Gurudeva Kī Jai, Oṁ Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Deep inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, and inhale.
