This is a bhajan written by Holī Gurujī, Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī, for his beloved disciple, Swāmījī. It describes Swāmījī's life, including a little about his family and his life journey. It is a beautiful bhajan that aligns with today's topic. Mahāprabhujī addresses the people of India: "O people of India (Bhārata ke logo), gain knowledge and follow Sanātana Dharma. Do not wander here and there searching. Drive away all wickedness. Protect the cows (Gau bachane). Reflect on the Vedas and Purāṇas, and propagate righteous conduct (dharma). Uphold the right moral and ethical principles, and do not lose heart. You are the ones who foster love among all. Do not quarrel among yourselves. If some people are against satsaṅg and dharma, do not mind them. As Swami Avatārpuri said, do not point fingers at them, but follow the path of great men like Rāma. Be strong and endure through various times. We know Rāma went to the jungle for fourteen years and faced many evils. O dear ones, meditate on Lord Śiva and attain freedom, self-rule (Svarājya)." The word Svarājya means independence, which can be understood both spiritually and politically, as Mahāprabhujī lived at the same time as Mahatma Gandhi; they even met, as written in Līlā Amṛt. So, attain Svarājya. Then, if you follow satsaṅg and dharma, great wealth (Malabha Khuta) will follow—both spiritual and material. "I have found Guru Devpurījī. He is without any form (Nirakṣara), without any desire (Nir Daya), and without any cause." Swāmijī, Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī is singing about your glory. You unite everybody and show us the path just by manifesting yourself. As Swami Gajarānandjī nicely explained today, it is just by the sign, just by seeing (Milāne). You bring together, you unite. Now we will all sing together. You may know the melody from some years ago during the Kumbha Melā, when it was on Swāmijī TV. Swāmijī was wearing a big black sombrero, and this bhajan was played. It deeply touched us, and we wondered what it was about. We did not know because it is not in the Bhajan book. We asked Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar Swāmī Gyāneśwar Purījī, and he was very kind to translate it. These are his words. Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Jai, Śrī Devpurījī Mahādeva Kī Jai.
