The Practice and Essence of Brahmari Prāṇāyāma

Brahmari Prāṇāyāma concerns prāṇa, the vital energy flowing through the nervous system. This energy connects all parts of the body; an issue in one nerve affects the whole. The practice uses sound vibration, which originates from a central point and extends throughout the entire system. This subtle vibration reaches from the soles of the feet upward, balancing and releasing energy within. The technique involves pressing the lips together without clenching the teeth. One must listen inwardly to the sound generated, allowing the breath to flow naturally without force. Concentration is placed on the body's sensations as the internal sound brings clarity and balance to the entire being. "The vibration reaches the sole of the foot. And this sound, Brahmari, and rising up, has established the other Vajranāḍī Prāṇāyāma." "One does not need to go outward, but inward into the body."

A Student's Gratitude and Svāmījī's Discourse on the Pandemic

Being a student provides a transformative perspective, seeing the Divine behind outer life. This knowledge frees one from being trapped by external conditions. Practice is both inward and an outward service to others. Chanting mantras with intention generates a powerful vibration that reaches and helps the world. The community remained unafraid, trusting the divine power that radiates outward when lived. Obstacles arise for learning, to be observed and dissolved. The current age is one of pain and difficulty, affecting all life. The pandemic stems from collective human pain, modern chemicals, and the treatment of animals, returning as karmic consequence. True health comes from disciplined living, proper diet, and the integration of yoga into daily life, not from harmful consumption. The Self, the Ātman within, is God. Meditation is returning to this inner Self, not seeking outside. One must be alert, for the body is a temporary home; only the soul is eternal. "Perhaps we have had a little more time for introspection and our practices." "I believe this illness has come from the pain, and we have created all of this." Filming location: Villach, Austria

Yoga Practice on Vajranāḍī, Sarvahitāsana, and Brahmārī Prāṇāyāma

The practice focuses on Vajranāḍī, Sarvahitāsana, and Brahmārī Prāṇāyāma. Lie on your stomach and relax. Sit back on your heels with hands on thighs. The Vajranāḍī is a nerve channel. Vajra means powerful like iron. It is located between the big toe and second toe. Vajranāḍī is the body's power source. It resembles a tree with unseen roots. Sitting on the heels, raise them to bring energy to the brain. Place hands on the temples and bite gently. This posture relieves headaches. Sarvahitāsana means good for all nerves and muscles. Practice it daily to refresh circulation and vitality. Simple yoga until life's end makes death easy and happy. For Brahmārī Prāṇāyāma, inhale deeply. Place fingers lightly in the ears. Bite teeth evenly with lips closed. Produce a humming sound, not "viśva." Practice three to five times only. Do it in the morning, midday, and evening. It balances the inner self. "Vajra means like iron—very powerful, very strong. That Vajranāḍī is the power of our whole body." "Sarva hita: hita means good for all. The whole body, everything—muscles, nāḍīs." Atma is one and body is different

All spiritual paths and centers, rooted in Indian concepts like dharma, are valid worldwide. We must respect every school and not claim exclusivity. Just as many children in a village each have their own family and name, yet all are children, so do various yoga traditions have their own names and forms. They all share the same essence. The goal is oneness. A guru's value is not in the number of disciples but in their knowledge. We are like drops from one vast ocean; though separate, our essence is the same divine source. All humans and creatures contain that divine essence. We must look within to realize our true nature as the cosmic self. Do not compare or denigrate other paths. All lead to the same truth, just as all children return to their homes. "One should not say, 'Only mine, that's all.'" "Holy Gurujī said, 'I have only one āśram, and that's our body.'" Filming location: Ljubljana, Slovenia

Shiva tried to give immortality to Parvati

The divine union of Śiva and Śakti is the fundamental cosmic principle. All beings originate from the Cosmic, with the soul or God within. The inner self, the Ātmā, is equal in all, male or female. Historically, women were denied spiritual respect, but now equality is recognized. The teaching "Mātṛ Devo Bhava" establishes the mother as the first object of reverence, followed by the father, teacher, and guru. Creation requires both masculine and feminine principles. Śiva, initially whole, contains Śakti within, manifesting as the androgynous Ardhanārīśvara. A story illustrates their inseparability: when the goddess Satī died, Śiva carried her body in grief. To restore cosmic balance, Viṣṇu used the Sudarśana Cakra to dismember the form, creating the sacred Śakti Pīṭhas. Later, Pārvatī sought immortality from Śiva through a night-long mantra, but she fell asleep, and a parrot overheard the secret. This unity exists within each person; husband and wife should be one as Śiva and Śakti are one. Practice purity and non-violence, recognizing the divine in all. Worship leads to the cosmic; otherwise, one remains unfulfilled. "Shiva and Shakti are one in ourselves, in our body." "Matri Devo Bhava, first God, is taken as the mother." We are a part of God

Yoga is one unified path, though taught under many names. It extends far beyond physical postures to encompass the entire life force and consciousness. The practice integrates all aspects of nature, as seen in the 84 traditional āsanas inspired by animals and elements. This discipline is lifelong, like the breath itself, and aims to balance the body's five principles with nature. The ultimate goal is for the individual soul, or jīva, to realize its divine nature and ascend to the highest cosmic consciousness, ending the cycle of rebirth among the 8.4 million life forms. While worldly knowledge progresses outwardly, the yogi's path is an inward journey to the Self. All creatures possess the will to live, and humans must recognize the divine Ātmā within themselves and all beings, moving from identifying with the limited drop to merging with the boundless ocean. "Yoga is not only physical, for the physical body, or just breath and concentration, etc. Yoga is very far-reaching." "Your soul, your ātmā in you is your God." Filming location: Slovenska, Slovenia

The Nabhi

The many paths of yoga converge like rivers into one ocean. Respect all ways of practice. The science of yoga is vast, yet we must understand our own body. The navel, or Nābhi, is the root. A problem there affects the whole system. To progress, one must bring the body under control through proper diet and awareness. Overweight individuals should eat lightly, focusing on salads and seeds, to achieve balance over time. Practice feeling the movement and vibration at the navel. This awareness is the foundation for meditation and self-knowledge. True practice begins from this root, balancing the physical to access deeper states. The sound of OM originates from the navel, rising through the channels to the crown. Balance in the body leads to balance in consciousness. "Yoga is yoga, but which kind of yoga? It is like this gathering: some have come from the East, some from the West, and all who have come via different paths have seen many different things." "The navel is the root. Everything is there. When there is a problem with the navel, the whole body will die." Filming location: Rijeka, Croatia

God is within us

Karma Yoga is the supreme practice, integrating spiritual awareness into every daily action. To be human is the primary yoga. Upon waking, one acknowledges being human and steps onto Mother Earth with reverence. Touching water releases tension and connects one to the father element. Opening windows welcomes the air. Life is interaction with family, animals, and tasks, all done with conscious love. True wealth is internal, residing in the heart and mind, impossible to steal. God is not an external entity to be found in forests or mountains. God resides within each person. Therefore, one who knows they are God within will cause no harm. Life is a step-by-step practice, including asana, pranayama, and meditation. The divine essence is singular and present in all, like individual drops containing the whole ocean. Practice should be consistent and gradual, like a child growing day by day. The Vajranadi is the central power channel, sustaining life from conception to death. Practice Brahmari pranayama to balance the brain's hemispheres, creating a harmonious vibration for meditation. Yoga is a lifelong journey of silent, peaceful, and joyful practice. "Look within thyself, that is God." "True wealth is not money. Anyone can take away our money, but in our brain and in our heart, that money which we have, no one can take away."

You are great but remain on the path

The living guru and true path are found within an authentic lineage, not through blind faith or exploitation. Modern science connects us physically, but only genuine spiritual transmission guides the soul beyond death. Many teachers and paths exist, each like a mother to her child, yet the root parampara is essential. Discernment is required, as some promise false powers or exploit faith with rituals. True practice involves a pure lifestyle and steady discipline, not mere claims. The breath's exhalation represents the enduring power; life continues beyond this body. "Next to God is the doctor." "Exhalation is forever." Filming location: Rijeka, Croatia

Practice like Holy Guruji

The essential need is for the living grace and vision of the teacher. All spiritual practice is dry without the guru's darśan and mercy. The ultimate goal is to internalize this vision so it is present whenever the eyes are closed. True darśan is the feeling awakened in the heart in a sacred place, not merely a physical sight. This gathering after a difficult period is a profound blessing. The dedicated work of many has prepared this new space, which is an invitation for all to come, work, and build together in nature and peace. The current age presents challenges, but within them lies opportunity for those who follow the guru's word with faith and selfless effort. "All of our sādhanā, everything that we do in our lives, is dry without Gurudev’s darśan and Gurudev’s mercy." "So many lives, thousands of lives, you have dedicated to yourself. Decide to dedicate one to me." Filming location: Karlovac, Croatia

Spiritual knowledge leads to God

The first international satsaṅg gathers here. This place was found swiftly after the instruction to establish a center. It is now filled with light, destined to become a temple and a beacon. The duty is to preserve and spread this light. All present are at home, not guests. This extends to everyone connected. Yoga is one, yet many masters and paths exist. All are to be respected in this age of unity. Every teacher is a guru imparting worldly knowledge. The spiritual guru reveals the inner oneness where souls merge. All beings contain the same divine light, moving toward the same ultimate door. The soul constantly seeks liberation from the body. Purity is the first step. Avoid negativity about other paths. Cultivate health through practice, prāṇāyāma, and pure environments, relinquishing harmful habits. "Everyone who is teaching us is our guru." "My ātmā and your ātmā become one."

A Welcome and Reflections on Divine Unity

The divine manifests as unity within diversity, and our spiritual institutions are beacons in the world. We established this new ashram in Croatia swiftly after a wish was expressed, demonstrating how life unfolds when we release doubt. This place, named for a great master, serves as a sanctuary. All authentic spiritual centers worldwide are vital, like many children bringing joy and development to a single village. There is one God with two aspects: the manifest principle appearing through the ages and the formless absolute. This unity is reflected in the duality of Śiva and Śakti within us. All forms arise from a pure source, like water evaporating from the ocean and returning as rain. Heredity shows how qualities are transmitted, yet we all share a common human essence. We encounter many teachers in life, from parents to instructors, all guiding us. True spiritual masters awaken knowledge from within. All paths ultimately lead to the same divine unity, just as a fallen leaf eventually returns to nourish its roots through nature's cycle. "Āśrams and mandirs are like beacons in the turmoil, the ocean of saṃsāra." "There is one God. God is one, and God is God." Filming location: Karlovac, Croatia

Around the World - Covid Quarantine Centre

A COVID-19 care center was inaugurated at a spiritual ashram. This facility will treat patients with initial symptoms and those with oxygen saturation above 88. It is equipped with 17 oxygen concentrators and staffed by three doctors. The opening was deemed essential due to the virus's rapid spread. Confidence was expressed in managing infections with modern equipment. Gratitude was extended to the local government and to international devotees from many nations for their support. The center was described as a lifeline for citizens. Administrative officers and medical staff attended the event. "Due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus, a quarantine center had become essential, and it has now been established." "This COVID center would be a lifeline for the citizens." Filming location: Rajasthan, India

We should reach the goal

The second step is moving forward from fear with a strong heart through yoga's power. Practice the techniques and be strong. The best meditation is deep, alert sleep, which can become the powerful Yoga Nidrā. Make a firm resolve and walk steadily toward the goal without giving up. Be active in service, cleaning, and working together within the community. This collective work builds a strong foundation. True strength and guidance come from the Guru's grace, which is essential for crossing the ocean of worldly life and attaining liberation. "The best meditation: go to sleep now. Yes, the best meditation." "Without Guru, we cannot know meditation. Without Guru, we cannot do pūjā. Without Guru Kṛpā, we have no mukti." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Prana is the source of our life

Prāṇa is the sacred life force, sustained by water and air. Water is holy and must not be wasted or dirtied. Air as prāṇa is the very essence of life; without it, existence ceases quickly. This vital force connects all beings. One must practice awareness of this sustaining energy. Practice prāṇāyāma to cleanse and strengthen this inner breath. Do not succumb to fear, as anxious thoughts can manifest disharmony. The true Self, the Ātmā, exists beyond these elemental needs. Cultivate this understanding through daily practice and generosity. "Water is holy, and when there is no more water, then it is finished." "Prāṇa is jīvan (life). If the prāṇa is not there, then we are gone."

Vishwaguruji is always within us

The Guru's grace is the sole necessity for a seeker. The Guru has renounced all worldly desires, transforming evil into good. His glance dissolves all troubles from the fourteen worlds. He is adorned with highest wisdom, his words a constant shower of blessings. He is the incarnation of Lord Śiva, present in every being. He dwells in the hearts of sages, granting liberation to all souls. Guru's blessings are essential; without them nothing in this world is possible. With his blessings, disciples abide in love and joy. The Guru is never far away; he is always within. Look within and find him there, ready to guide. Simply close the eyes, think of him, and protection and care are immediate. He is forgiving, giving, caring beyond measure. Until one opens oneself, the doors remain closed. When one opens, everything is given. In the Guru's presence, much learning and guidance occur. He always corrects and shows the right path. The constant wish is for his blessing and guidance. "Without Gurudev’s blessings, nothing in this world is possible." "Vishwagurujī is always within us, in our hearts." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Covid Quarantine Centre Jadan Hospital

This address expresses gratitude for support and conveys blessings for health and service. Human life gains profound significance through divine presence. Thanks are extended to distant helpers and local supporters for their extraordinary assistance. A hospital facility, long closed, is now a point of shared happiness and future collaboration. The commitment is to help all devotees who come, ensuring they arrive and depart in good health. The collective work of many individuals is acknowledged and appreciated. The shared goal is mutual aid and well-being for everyone. "Human life is significant... if God’s incarnation is with you, it will not be a small thing." "We will help them. They will come here healthy and return to their homes in good health." Filming locations: Vienna, Austria.

Believe or don't believe

The human form embodies a duality of potential, represented by our two hands. One hand bestows blessings, while the other wields destructive power. We need God, but God does not need us. A story illustrates this: a demon asked Shiva for the power to burn anyone he touched. Shiva granted it. The demon then sought to test this power on Shiva himself, forcing Shiva to flee. This shows the danger inherent in such power. Our hands can offer nourishment or violence, just as our eyes perceive but can also deceive. Every part of the body holds this dual capacity. Therefore, one must practice awareness and choose the path of blessing, humility, and non-violence. The techniques for transcendence are within the human body, but they require purity of action and intention. "If you believe, it is okay. And if you don’t believe, it is okay. You will fall down." "Humans should never kill animals." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Everything is yoga

The oneness of all existence is the core truth; yoga is the means to realize this. The same soul dwells in all creatures, from humans to ants. The body is needed but is not the self. The divine created 8.4 million life forms. A drop from the ocean is ocean; falling back, it becomes the whole. Do not boast of being human. Liberation’s door is one for every being—ant or elephant. That door leads beyond temporary heavens and hells. Shiva, without father or mother, gave the eternal dharma. Humans make religions, yet there is only one God. Knowing oneness, one ceases to kill. Yoga comes from Shiva, with 84 asanas. Now, many make it just pleasant exercise. The living guru is not the physical form but the inner essence. The guru-lineage flows from the ever-present Saptaṛṣis. True yoga is controlling space and consciousness, manifesting Shiva. Ultimately, every action—cooking, cleaning—is yoga. "Even an ant will go through that door, the same one door." "Yoga simply means what we are doing. That is it." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Use it, or you will lose it

Human life embodies a unique potential for higher knowledge. A master gives that knowledge through pure teaching. Holy scriptures hold words that cannot be altered. Clothing, skin color, dyed hair—all outer forms are fleeting. Leaves turn yellow and fall; the wind carries them off. This body too will go, no matter how much one waters or treats it. From earth it comes, and back to earth it returns, then rises again as fruit. The cycle never stops. Space is the ultimate aim—clear, without sun, moon, or fire. The horizon moves farther as one draws near; it cannot be grasped. A father hid his treasure in a wall, yet his sons did not know until he died. Money can be stolen, but inner wealth remains. Practice yoga, prayer, and mantra—do it or lose everything. That inner treasure stays. Spiritual practice is the only lasting possession. The horizon of the self is reached only through continual practice. “Patta ṭūṭā dal se le gayī pavan uḍāī.” “Use it or lose it.” Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

We should unite with the Supreme

The individual seeks union with the cosmic. A drop of water is held, looking at the vast ocean. The drop wishes to return to its source, the ocean. Until it falls, the drop appears separate. Upon merging, no separation remains. In the same way, individuals see themselves as separate on this earth. Yet the goal is to become one with the cosmic, so there is no return. This body and all possessions will one day cease. The path is walked alone, each following a unique direction. One bird sitting with others will fly its own way. Which direction it takes is unknown. Mothers, fathers, friends, spouses—all are temporary companions. Even physical forms of the divine will dissolve into the ātmā. The drop returns to the ocean and becomes one. “A drop of water, you have water in, and there will be over the ocean one, no, no... boat. And we are on the ocean. And we have one drop in our hand... Until it falls into the water of the ocean, and then you don’t know who is who.” “All of you are sitting like one bird sitting on the roof of the house. And these four or five birds, we don’t know, they will fly... One bird flies that side, and one flies the other side.” Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Sanskrit Hindi and yoga

The essence of yoga and spiritual understanding is rooted in language and devotion. Sanskrit is the primary and most refined language, containing the 52 divine letters corresponding to the body's chakras. Many are losing their native tongues, creating a spiritual disconnect. Preserving and learning languages like Hindi and Sanskrit is crucial for true yoga practice, as the postures and knowledge are embedded within them. True comprehension comes from engaging with the source language. The relationship with the Guru is paramount for spiritual progress. Meditating upon the Satguru leads beyond the cycle of birth and death. Service and remembrance of the Guru are the highest practices, aligning the individual with the divine principle. "Meditate on the Satguru. Those who concentrate on your Guru’s birth and death. Then no other birth will be." "Oṁ Namoḥ Gurudev Gosāī, Sudhbudhi Gyānādijo Prabhumohi Brahma, Viṣṇu, Maheśwar, Deva, Sabhī Kare Tumhārī Śeva." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Bhajan evening in the Jadan Ashram

The senses are powerful and create the entire world of entanglement. The ten senses within the body are difficult for any yogi to fully master. The world is ensnared by their play, particularly by the lower senses like taste and procreation. All beings, from Brahma to animals, are bound by these senses. Their force is the great delusion that must be conquered. "The senses are a powerful force of delusion; what has this entangled world become?" "All beings of the world are under the control of these senses. What has this world become, so entangled?" Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Yoga is for tho whole world

Baḍī Khāṭū Praṇām returns one to yoga, health, and cultural roots. Chemicals in food and water spread through the earth, causing disease and imbalance. Yoga restores harmony, health, balance, concentration, and happiness. Yoga is not a religion; it works on the body’s five elements. Some countries initially rejected Om and Surya Namaskar in yoga, but Western practitioners demanded them. Baḍī Khāṭū Praṇām consists of 108 postures, revealed by Mahāprabhujī. The practice originates from the holy place Baḍī Khāṭū in Rajasthan. It benefits physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions, and deepens concentration. Bhramari Pranayama activates both brain hemispheres, improving learning. Self-study and repetition are essential; tuition confuses the mind. A true guru’s grace is the highest; the disciple becomes master through devotion. Respect for the teacher ensures proper learning and memory. One must reclaim mother tongue, culture, and traditional food. Many have lost their language; speaking the mother tongue is vital. The practice aligns with Vedas, mantras, and all sacred wisdom. Through consistent practice, one connects earth to cosmic energies. The world now embraces this practice, even in China and many yoga schools. "Yoga has nothing to do with religion. Yoga is for the whole body, the five elements: harmony, health, balance, concentration, and happiness." "Baḍī Khāṭū Praṇām is not only exercise, but it is going to all the Vedas, mantras, nēmas, everything." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

What means sanyas diksha

The path of renunciation leads to the highest realization through guru's grace. Sannyasa is a rare attainment, ripening over many lives. Renunciation means shedding attachment to home, parents, and all material ties. The orange cloth is not mere fabric but an offering of one's very being to reach Brahmaloka. The heart must be purified; as Hanuman revealed Rama within, the divine resides within. This path is not about external learning but inner transformation. One becomes a star, visible only in the darkness of solitude and testing. The guru's grace determines readiness. Initiation rituals include smearing the body with cow dung, washing with panchagavya, and offering into sacred fire. The cutting of the shikha severs attachment to the physical world. The new sannyasi surrendered everything to the guru, offering all fruits of action. Service to the guru and all creation is the essence. The disciple’s journey began with a mantra initiation, a second birth. Years of karma yoga and inner work led to this moment. The guru called forth the brahmacharya vrata, then swiftly granted sannyasa diksha. The experience unfolds slowly, beyond immediate awareness. Surrender alone sustains the path. “It is very rare, very rare for one to achieve sannyāsa. It doesn’t matter if it is male or female.” “I was never so happy in my life in those days.” Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Always be positive

The sun of life and the honey of purity illuminate the path. All spiritual practice is devotion to the divine, beyond divisions of country or religion. The human form is equal, and love must extend to all creatures. Substances like alcohol can be medicine or poison depending on use and knowledge, just as sectarian views of God create division where unity exists. The sun is always present, just as the inner sun of life exists in all beings, seeking joy. Following guidance prevents suffering. Human desire, unlike animals, is endless; action should protect all life. Negative thinking creates suffering, while purity, like pure honey that does not cling, is essential. The heart and body will pass, but one should remain in joy and purity, allowing impurities to fall away. "Arguing over whose God is best creates big problems. If it is like that, then we are not for that highest, supreme reality, where all gods are one." "Pure honey, when it drips, does not stick. If it is not real honey but just from sugar, it will stick. This is the difference." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

The real disciple

Today we honor Śaṅkarācārya and the testing of a true disciple. Śaṅkarācārya revived Sanātana Dharma from a young age. After his father's death, he sought sannyāsa. His mother refused until a crocodile incident forced her consent. He promised to attend her death and did so, despite funereal prohibitions. He established four centers across India, assigning paths for different temperaments. The story of Upamanyu illustrates unwavering obedience. Upamanyu insisted on discipleship as a boy. A ṛṣi tested him by having him herd cows without food. The boy first drank milk, then ate foam, then took alms, each time forbidden by the guru. He ate leaves until forbidden, then ate roots, became blind, and fell into a dry well. When found, he asked about the cows and refused to eat alone. God appeared and restored his sight. In another test, he alone lay down to stop a water leak at night. True disciples do not waver. In Kali Yuga, many fail such commitment. Distractions swarm like mosquitoes in a sleeping room. "Mother, if you will allow me to become a sannyāsī, perhaps the crocodile will let me go." "Gurudev Śaraṇa Tumārī Cintā Merī." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Sanyas Diksha of Swami Chandrapuriji

The journey begins with the Guru, invoking divine presence through mantra and sacred narrative. Listen. You are making a resolve for the spiritual journey. Invocations are offered to Guru, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Durga, Rama, Surya, and the divine principle of fullness. A creation myth is recounted: initially, there was no Shiva-Shakti, no linga, no yoni. They were fashioned from cuttings; from the first drop of blood came vermilion, from the second came all expansion. A devotional dialogue asks: Who cut the hair? Who gave the teaching? The Alakh Purush cut the hair; the Satguru gave the teaching. Thus, the short-haired renunciant shines with the light of Shiva-Shakti. The assembly concludes with salutations to the Guru, the eternal Dharma, and all divine forms. "Śiva-śakti nahī̃ thā, liṅga nahī̃ thā, bhaga nahī̃ thā. Nakha cīr ke liṅga banāyā, kamar cīr ke bhaga banāyā." "Kaun Guru Ne Kaata Kes, Kaun Purush Ne Diya Updes? Alakh Purush Ne Kaata Kes, Satguru Ne Diya Updes."

Clean yourself to become a saint

True renunciation is the yoga of cleaning and selfless service. Holy Gurujī visited Vienna and Czechoslovakia during simpler times. He taught that all is a religion, release from everything is a religion. In those lands, people shared freely—taking fruit from open fields without stealing, leaving cars unlocked without fear. True freedom is not political; it is inner. Yet many who take sannyas cling to status. They wear orange and sit in front, but renunciation means giving up everything. A true yogi cleans toilets, sweeps leaves, serves all. Leaves falling from trees are not dirty; they fall and later get cleaned. One disciple here cleans everything—that is a great sadhu. In Sivanandajī’s ashram, a learned pandit boasted of knowing all scriptures. Sivanandajī led him to a dirty toilet and said clean this. The pandit resisted, and Sivanandajī declared, “You have learned nothing. Cleaning is sādhanā, that is dharma.” Jesus washed feet; true humility is service. Tyāga means dropping every desire, even for chocolate or ice cream. The guru sent this one away with nothing—no shoes, just one cloth, like a cow or horse. Why need shoes when animals go barefoot? Achal Ramji built a great pond and then renounced all. Stop claiming “I am this” and simply clean. “Holy Gurujī said, ‘One in all, all in one.’” “Sivanandajī said, ‘Clean this. That is the sādhanā, that is the dharma, that is everything.’” Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Dharma and adharma

The path of dharma and ahiṃsā is essential to overcome Kali Yuga. Kali Yuga has become very strong. Many perform pūjā across religions but do not follow ahiṃsā. Hiṃsā is killing creatures, large or small, and eating them. All creatures feel pain and are protected by God. Humans should not kill and eat animals. Hiṃsā also includes speaking painful words. Animals flee humans due to this violent energy. Cruelty within family—shouting, unkindness—is adharma. Disrespecting water, trees, and grass is also hiṃsā. Water is life and divine presence. People waste water unnecessarily, forgetting its preciousness. Tulsi is a powerful plant revered as divine. Some worship Tulsi for years and even arrange its marriage. Backbiting is like killing someone mentally. If absolutely no food exists, humans may eat fish for survival; that is sādhanā. Dharma is practiced through love and non-harming. "Jīva jīva bhakṣate. One life kills another life and eats, but not the humans." "Sādhana cara karo pyāra, jīna se hove mokṣa tumhārā." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Don't ask anything from God

Purity and the power of mantra are the foundation of spiritual practice. Many chant prayers and mantras without proper bodily cleansing. The body must be washed, clean clothes put on, before approaching the altar. Do not approach with demands; offer peace, chant mantras, sing bhajans. Belief aligns the entire body’s energy. Negative energy is expelled during sleep, making morning purification essential. Mantra serves as medicine, a power within. Vrittis, mental modifications, dwell within and can destroy all. Cultivate thoughts of peace, harmony, love, understanding, giving, humility, kindness. This purifies and generates healthy energy. Holy books are read but rarely remembered at bedtime. Bow down before sleep, asking for protection. The divine knows every creature’s needs without being told. Impurities inside require more than water; action and awareness are needed. Laziness causes unclean energy and dying cells. The altar holds a living presence, not just a picture. The spiritual medicine of pure thought surpasses all. “God says, ‘I am not your servant.’” “God says, ‘Don't ask me. I know when you come to Me, I know why you came. And you will be taken care of; I will give to you.’” Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

We should help

The human condition is defined by ignorance and a futile pursuit of immortality within the physical form. Humans possess great arrogance and technical skill but remain confined by the body and its elemental nature. Even deities are subject to change, and no being in a physical form can be granted immortality. True immortality exists only beyond the five elements, as the soul or Ātmā. Human life is consumed by fear, desire, and material accumulation, which creates suffering and severs connection from righteousness. Modern society exacerbates greed and hardship, distancing people from dharma and spiritual truth. The soul is eternal but trapped and unhappy within the physical body; liberation comes when it departs and merges with the universal consciousness, like a drop returning to the ocean. "Immortality is when you are not in the physical body." "The soul is in our body, and the soul is not happy, but our body doesn’t want to let go." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Bhajan singing from Jadan Ashram

The refuge lies at the divine feet. By taking refuge there, one experiences supreme truth and bliss, becoming free from the cycle of birth and death. The mind finds its steady path. The Vedas and Puranas sing of this refuge. True devotion and knowledge lead to liberation. The divine name itself brings supreme happiness. The true Guru is incomparable. Follow your Gurudev

The Guru is the singular, indispensable lamp. Understanding the Guru's nature comes only in his absence. While present, his light is taken for granted. He traveled widely, visiting many saints and places, yet his devotion remained solely with his lineage. He transformed barren land into an ashram. His constant practice was singing bhajans and giving lectures about his masters. The teaching environment must be kept purely for spiritual matters, avoiding negativity. The Guru's strictness was part of his grace. His physical presence embodied a great spiritual personality. The ultimate truth is that everything is the Guru's grace. "When the lamp is here, we don't look at the lamp." "All is Mādhāvānandajī." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Live spiritual life

The night of silence calls us to remember true humanity. The night of silence has fallen across the country. In four nights, four hours, everything closes. Brief morning hours allow only essentials. People feel both sadness and joy, being home with family. Meditation, pūjā, and bhajans bring back childhood memories. The atmosphere now lacks past goodness. Isolation improves oxygen. Some receive monthly income, others labor hard. Spirituality lies in the heart as purity, love, friendship. Pray from a distance with mantras. Compassion extends to all animals. Birds sit on tigers, cleaning their teeth. A sādhu abides fearlessly near water, tigers pass by. This night is for silence, mala, bhajan, family. Twenty minutes of complete silence. The government aims to restore good life. "We humans should love all creatures; then it means that we are real humans." "Stay at home. Be anywhere. But we give to each and everyone, and it means not only for the humans, but also for the animals." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Let this life be the last one

Yoga postures originate from the movements of animals and natural forms. Śiva gave eighty-four primary āsanas, modeled on creatures like the cobra, horse, and cow, and elements like the lotus in water. These postures are for yogīs to practice, connecting the physical form to a deeper spiritual reality. Modern variations stem from these ancient movements. The practice is a form of respect for all life. Human knowledge and material possessions are transient and do not accompany the soul after death. Only the eternal ātmā remains. Time is short; one must engage in sincere practice and positive association to realize this truth and avoid continued suffering. "Practicing yoga postures means respecting all these animals, all the good trees, everything—respecting from that origin." "Only that Ātmā, Jīvātmā, Paramātmā—with that it will go."

Follow the path

The power of bhajans, devotion, and the Guru Paramparā is the essence of spiritual life. Bhajans carry profound power and knowledge for all senses, unlike simple mantra repetition. Loudspeakers blaring mantras can disturb others' practice; consideration is needed. Meera's devotion to Krishna, despite suffering, lives on through her bhajans worldwide. The Guru Paramparā is illustrated by Bhagavān Rāma and Hanumānjī. Hanumān's every hair resonated with "Rāma, Rāma." When Rāma brought a hair from Hanumān's ear to Sītā, she heard "Rāma Rāma" from that hair. Hanumān, even when speaking, would say "Rām" to avoid distance from his Lord. Rāma gave Hanumān the duty to protect all devotees, so Hanumānjī still lives. A disciple remains a disciple before the guru, regardless of worldly status. One must never disrespect or abandon the guru, just as one would not abandon one's mother. Sanātana Dharma is the living Guru Paramparā. Those who claim to be gurus without true lineage are not on the path. Many modern practices called yoga are merely exercises, not authentic yoga. Do not forget your mother, father, and guru; losing them is spiritual loss. True devotion means holding fast to the guru's words. The guru's grace alone leads to liberation. "Guru Kṛpā He Kevalam, Śiṣye Ke Ānanda Maṅgalam." "If you are a disciple of that Gurudev, then it doesn’t matter if you are the highest of the high, but for your Gurujī, you are a disciple down." Never lose the name of God

Health and happiness depend on inner cleanliness and divine grace, not external running. A pandemic reveals a deeper sickness in the age of Kali Yuga. Disease flourishes where tradition and dharma are lost, replaced by physical indulgence and mental depression. This inner pollution manifests as outer illness. True health comes from a happy, clean mind and spirit, not merely medicine. The practice of yoga and mantra, received through a genuine guru paramparā, purifies the body, mind, and thoughts. This grace is real; devotees experience the guru's power directly through life-changing guidance and even the transfer of suffering. Shortcuts and false teachers bring negativity. Real spiritual practice requires lifelong dedication. "Namaste is best. Namaste means 'I bow to you.' Second, it means you and I are one." "If you have power, then you should take care of Swāmījī, and give the pain to me." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Guru and disciple

The essence of all spiritual power is Guru's grace alone. Blessings are more powerful than any material possession. This grace is the vitalizing force, like rain reviving a parched landscape. The Guru is one who has attained the supreme state, residing within the heart. A genuine Guru is appointed by the Satguru to care for disciples, not one who merely claims the title. While many instructors in life can be called gurus, the real Guru is singular. True devotion, bhakti, combines the mindful respect of śraddhā with the feeling of love. Through this bhakti toward the Guru, everything can be achieved. Ultimately, the disciple's joy and liberation are founded solely upon this grace. "Guru Kripa Hi Kevalam. Only and only that powers everything we see." "Bhakti is equal to love and śraddhā combined. Both mind and feeling together—this is the great quality of bhakti." Be conscious in the present

Satsaṅg is a practice of purification through attentive presence and self-encounter. Open your ears and fill your chest to cleanse negative thoughts. You become your own guide. Every religion has good perspectives, but the root is one. When you come for prayer, ring bells and sing bhajans to relax and oxygenate the body. The essence of an āśram is work. If you are not making effort, it is not a true āśram. In a small āśram, you are forced to face yourself daily; there is nowhere to run from conflicts. These clashes are necessary polishing, like stones in a river becoming smooth. The spiritual work is to see that problems with others are projections of your own qualities. There are no others; what you see outside is part of you to work with. The practice is to be present, not lost in thoughts of past or future. "Tell your wife to sing properly. The husband must be good, but the wife will be even more than that." "In an āśram, basically, you are forced to face yourself every day." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

We need real dedication

Evening Satsang with Vishwaguruji from Jadan Ashram, Rajasthan, India. There are two kinds of people living separately or in the family. Orange dress means renunciation. The story about two brothers one of them was studied and the other lived a spiritual life alone in a forest. There are two kinds of bhava. One is where there is some wish and the other has no wish. Birds know that there is their child in the eggs. The lecturer speaks about his daily life and his spiritual experiences in different Ashrams.

Invocation and Guidance for Heart Meditation

Meditation on the heart with mālā is for peace and harmony for all. Śrī Devpurīṣī Mahādeva Kī Jai. Śrī Bhagavān Alakhpurīṣī Mahādeva Kī Jai. Viśvagurū Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Svāmī Maheśvarānandajī Gurudeva Kī Jai. The correct name is Madhavānandajī Bhagavān, not Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān or Madhav Kṛṣṇa. Thank you, Hari Purījī, for perfect mantra, bhajan, and all work. Himālayan Śrī Devatār Śrī Alakhpurījī Mahādevakī Jai. Satya, Sanātana Dharma, Alakhpurījī, Mahādeva, Kī Jai. Now start meditation. Use your mālā. Meditate on your heart. Send peace, harmony, and understanding from your heart to all people, all creatures. Do not rush out when the session concludes. If you need to go, go now. Yogīs will chant mantras before departure. Those going to the room go directly now. Others stand and meditate for one hour. "Today is a meditation for all of you with your mālā and meditation on your heart to get peace, harmony, and for all people, for all creatures." "Let us give something from your heart: peace, harmony, understanding, etc." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Who will be the successor?

The divine order operates beyond human understanding, and attempts to control it lead to failure. A farmer demanded rain according to his schedule, and the resulting crops bore no seed. This illustrates that one must surrender to the higher wisdom, as a parent cares for a child. The current age is marked by distraction and disease arising from negative forces, which human power cannot control. True spiritual power is demonstrated by the perfected yogi, whose grace can instantly heal. The disciple must remain humble and receptive. The relationship with the guru is singular and permanent, like a birth. A true guru views all disciples equally, without distinction. Disciples must not spoil each other with misplaced praise or expectations, as this hinders spiritual development. The inner spiritual channel, the Vajra Nāḍī, provides unbreakable strength when one is truly humble. "A mother gives birth to a child only once; she will not take it into her stomach again. Similarly, any guru whom you have, once you say to him, 'You are my guru,' then he is the guru." "All disciples should be one disciple... we should not say only this is good and that is not good." How can we reach the Supreme?

Mere scriptural study does not bring realization. Satsaṅga is truth in the company of devotees. Many read countless holy books. Knowledge is there, but reading alone does not draw one near the cosmic Guru. A Himalayan ṛṣi lived in sādhanā for many years. Another saint asked him to read the Vedas. He studied for thousands of years. Messengers from Dharmarāja came to take him. He refused, saying he had not mastered the Vedas. He asked for fifty thousand more years. Finally they came again. They told him to look at the Himalayas. Wind blew dust into his palms. The messenger said he had learned only that dust. The entire Vedas are the Himalayas. Then he agreed to go. Thus study and insight must unite. A disciple repeated mantras for years without result. The Guru pointed to the missing inner Śabda. "You have not learned even that much. Only this you have learned from the Vedas. But the entire Vedas are the Himalayas." "Śabda, Guru Śabda. At that time, after everything, the Guru words, the voice of Gurudev inside." The thread of the Mala

The thread of saṅkalpa binds all through the guru’s grace. All beings are connected like beads on a single thread. That thread is the guru’s saṅkalpa, the vow from the heart. Breaking one’s word is to break that thread. A deep well holds pure water. A rope lowers a basket to bring it up. If the rope breaks, the basket falls and is lost. The guru is that rope. He pulls the disciple from the depths. The disciple holds on by the neck of the guru’s thread. The salt and bread tradition seals a bond. Accepting salt in a house means you will not harm that house. The mala’s thread is the prayer of “Yes, I will.” Fasting without true resolve is meaningless. If the fast cannot be kept, it is better not to fast. Surrender body, mind, wealth, and word at the guru’s feet. That surrender is the unbroken thread. “Guru ho to aisā ho, ki śiṣya ko andar girā ho, usko wāpas liyā hai, unko pānī lāge, usko gale se pakaṛ dete hai.” “Tan, man, dhan, bachchan, āpke caraṇ kamal meṁ.” Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Protect Mother Earth

Caring for Mother Earth and the soul is the urgent call, as humans have destroyed the nurturing body of the Earth. Yoga and daily life are present everywhere, even in the dreams of those sleeping. In this time, there is disease, wars, and heavy ocean waves. Humans have broken Mother Earth, extracting petrol, coal, breaking the Himalayas. Mother Earth gives life, holding all, providing light and air. She feeds every creature, from ant to elephant. If life is lost, it cannot be recreated; the creation of eyes is perfect. Humans are ill because they do not live properly. The Mother is humble, but children try to kill her; Kali Yuga worsens. So pray to Mother Earth: "All creatures are your children; we will not kill them but help and love them." Repeat the mantra whenever aware, as the Guru gave. There is coming darkness, yet remain happy, or the inner self dies. Let the inner flame of light and joy remain. Every kernel of food is sacred; wasting it is a sin. Water is life; discarding it carelessly is like throwing away life. Ancestors honored even a fallen seed; modern generations waste copiously. Engage in bhajans, divine energy, and maintain joy. "We should protect our earth. Mother Earth is giving everyone everything." "That seed is God, is your father. Sin to destroy the food." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Understand the words of Gurudev

The guru’s test shows listening means hearing the guru’s voice in all. The disciple declared he would do whatever the guru said, trusting nothing happens with full confidence. The guru sent him to the village. He met a mad elephant. Villagers cried run away. The disciple insisted the guru promised nothing will happen. The elephant threw him, breaking bones. The guru said: “I told you have confidence, but the villagers were my voice.” You did not listen. The guru speaks through others. Every word from family, friends, even strangers carries the teaching. When someone is angry, say thank you and step aside. True faith follows the teaching, not just private words. People claim religions but do not live them. Christians ignore non-violence, Hindus kill animals and call it dharma. Practice what you profess. Now sing bhajans, meditate, rest. “My Gurujī said that when you have confidence in everything you are doing, nothing happens to you.” “I told you, my dear, have confidence in me. But all my bhaktas told you, ‘Don’t come close to the elephant, go away,’ and you did not listen.” Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Feel compassion in your heart

Prayer for departed souls and unity in practice. Yoga and Divine Life practitioners practiced peacefully like one family. They performed āratī, pūjā, mantra, concentration, meditation, āsana, and prāṇāyāma. All came together harmoniously through telephone satsaṅg. The corona pandemic brought suffering and many deaths. Families could not gather for funerals. Today we remember those who passed. In the evening, sit and do mālā for departed friends. In the morning, offer water. One day we also go, but not in this way. We feel the pain of those remaining. We are all one through the same Guru Paramparā. We are guru brothers and sisters walking hand in hand. Prayer holds power across all religions. The feeling in the heart surpasses any mantra. If conflicts arise, let them be to ignite light within. "The higher you go, the easier you can fall down. And we remain on the earth, we will at least not be falling down." "Mantra is different, but better than the mantra is what is in the heart, what feeling is there." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

We have to have balance

The cosmic balance of Shiva and the path of true yoga. Yoga reaches beyond body, breath, and concentration to the cosmic self at the time of Shiva. Shiva controls all beings—Rakshasas, followers of Dharma, Swamis—to maintain balance. Without balance, war arises. One hand cannot make a sound; duality brings conflict. Shiva, greatest of the great, restores equilibrium. In the ocean of Kali Yuga, beings are carried unknowingly. All are like thugs, deceitful in coming, going, and standing. Mountains break, destruction comes in an instant. Even the sattvic suffer. Animals—cows, buffaloes, dogs, birds, fish—are killed and eaten. God made humans to protect creatures, not to kill. Love them, protect them, give to them. Those with shakti, bhakti, vairagya, and jnana reach the cosmic self. Others kill and remain bound. True yoga is more than asana and pranayama. This teaching of Yoga in Daily Life spreads worldwide. "Yoga is not only the physical body, not only concentration, not only the breath; it is beyond all that, reaching to the cosmic self at the time of Śiva." "God has made humans not for killing any creatures, but for protecting them." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Go to the Satsang

Satsaṅg reveals the inner truth beneath outward appearances. Engage every day in satsaṅg, the company of truth and good seekers. Avoid negative company, where sweet words hide harm. A disciple of twenty-five years wished to attend a festival. The Guru cautioned, then gave a peacock feather. The instruction: look through it and sit only where humans are seen. At the gathering, most people appeared as animals—dogs, snakes, cats. A small group under a tree remained human. They welcomed him, offering food and kindness. He returned immediately, vowing never to seek such crowds again. The human form can house animalistic tendencies: fighting, stealing, greed. Satsaṅg is where true human qualities dwell. Do not openly judge others as good or bad. With pure thought and feeling, treat all as good; good energy will exchange. Some who seem saintly are not good, engaging in theft or gossip. That is not satsaṅg. Ask the Guru for the gift of satsaṅg as the highest boon. “Wherever you see humans through this peacock feather, sit there.” “In the mouth there is sweetness and in the hand a knife.” Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India
